Harry was simply incredible, he couldn't help but stare in awe as Harry gave advice to both Ash and the pokemon during their training. Harry was a top trainer, but also very, very handsome, red hair that fell to his shoulders and mesmerizing purple eyes. With the sun hitting his hair making it shine, Ash couldn't help but get lost at times and sigh like a lovesick puppy, and by the smile Harry sent his way, the other teen knew exactly what was going on with Ash and I thought it was all very fun.

While Garchomp helped Pikachu learn Iron Tail, Sylveon and Ribombee taught Butterfree the moves: Sunny Day and Quiver Dance, respectively. According to Harry, right after Butterfree learns these moves, Ribombee will teach Butterfree Solar Beam and Protection.

Ash was able to understand why Harry was a danger in battle, the combination of Sunny Day so that the Solar Beam didn't have to wait to charge and Quiver Dance increasing the power of the attack, all while staying safe within a shield of Protection made Harry's Ribombee a devastation machine. Not to mention how well trained the little Bug/Fairy Pokémon was.

The next day soon arrived, luckily Ash's Pokémon managed to learn all the movements taught in record time. Even Pidgeotto got a new move with Ribombee, the bird was taught the U-Turn attack, Ash was very proud.

The time for Ash to challenge the gym was soon approaching, so everyone prepared for the match, Ash doing the mental preparation and Harry and Misty seeing things they needed.

Harry stood with Ribombee on his shoulder, the little pokemon wanted to see the fruits of his labor with his insect friend. Harry thought his little fairy had a crush, which Harry finds hilarious, it seems that his Pokémon share his personal taste in men.

As Ash greeted Brock. Harry, Sylveon and Misty went to the stands, when they sat down Harry released Garchomp so that the pokemon could evaluate the development of his new friends. Harry gave a soft smile that overflowed with affection for the dragon Pokémon, Garchomp is by far one of his most affectionate Pokémon, very responsible and acting as a father to others, always taking Harry's parental attitudes and behaviors as an example.

Soon they see Ash and Brock separating, each of them going one way, then the signal is given for the battle to begin.

Ash then looked at Pikachu who waved back determinedly, then running towards the field. Brock then releases his Geodude. Their battle didn't take long, with a mix of Agility for mobility, Quick Attack for momentum, and an Iron Tail Geodude was knocked out. Harry smiled like a proud simp. He couldn't deny the family pride that filled his heart and he had to suppress his emotions.

Soon Onix and Butterfree came to the field.

"Onix! Rock Slide!" Brock called the attack, he hoped the attack would take out Butterfree quickly, but he couldn't forget that Ash has fully healthy Pikachu.

"Protection!" Ash spoke quickly and Butterfree responded at the same speed, surrounding herself with a greenish shield, Onix's attack hit the shield, but it remained intact. "Keep your shield up and use Quiver Dance!"

"What does this move actually do? You and Ash kept your training well hidden." Misty asked Harry.

"Quiver Dance causes Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed to increase on a large scale. Honestly, it's one of my favorite insect moves." Harry explained as Ash's Butterfree maintained the shield and used the Quiver Dance twice more.

"Bee-Ribombee!"

"Now Butterfree, release the shield and use Sunny Day!" Ash said, happy that it was working.

"Onix, Flash Cannon!"

"Dodge Butterfree!"

"Wow, I didn't expect Onix to know an attack like that!" Misty spoke in amazement.

"It must have been a recently learned attack, do you see the lightning doesn't have a silvery glow?" Harry asked Misty, to which she nodded noting that the beam was whiter than anything.

Butterfree easily dodged it with its high speed and then charged an orange energy sphere that shot to the ceiling of the gym creating a mini sun.

"What's your plan with this? Butterfree doesn't have fire attacks and even if he did they wouldn't be useful with rock type pokemon." Brock called but then a thought crossed his mind. "Unless...!!!"

"That's right! Butterfree Solar Beam!" Ash called happily and then Butterfree at maximum speeds absorbed the light through her wings that glowed and in her paws she created an orb of greenish white energy that was quickly transformed into a beam of super charged energy by the previous buffs.

When the attack hit Onix it created a huge cloud of dust, which Harry then used his psychic powers to blow away, revealing an unconscious Onix.

"Well... Nothing more than expected." Harry smiled hugely, he couldn't deny that he was proud, it was an important achievement, Harry liked that feeling, it was the same one he had had many times throughout his existence, once again Harry suppressed the nostalgia.

"I won! We won!" Ash laughed happily with a huge smile hugging Pikachu and Butterfree, then he saw Harry and Misty coming down the stairs with the pokemons. "Harry! We did it!" He called, running over to the other boy and pulling him into a tight hug, wrapping his arms around the smaller boy's waist.

Harry let out a laugh and hugged Ash back, wrapping his arms around his shoulders.

The rest of the day was full of celebration and excitement when the old man from the rocks actually revealed himself to be Brock's father. Brock may have let go of the abandonment, but Harry got close to the man and threw a punch at him that sent him twenty feet away.

And so they were ready and heading towards Cerulean, the next destination and Gym for Harry and Ash.
