"Stone Edge!"

"Aggrooon" Aggron slammed his fist on the ground with a wave of energy, huge rocks then began to emerge from the ground in the path of the bandits.

"We're finished." Jesse complained hugging James.

"Finished for good!" James replied, hugging back.

"It's over!" Meowth added jumping between them.

With that the rocks hit Ekans, Koffing and Team Rocket causing a wave of energy and exploding, sending the bandits flying through the roof.

"Well, that was effective." Ash exclaimed, looking dazedly at the huge pokemon in front of them and back at the hole in the ceiling.

"Indeed, however, it didn't help that by sending them flying, we could have trapped them..." Harry scratched his head and looked to where Aggron was a little saddened by his trainer's speech. "It's okay kid, at least you finished off the bad guys." Harry said, stroking the huge Pokémon's chin.

"Aggrooon" Aggron exclaimed happily with the affection.

Soon after that, Police Officer Jenny soon arrived and questioned them all, it didn't take long and then Ash called his mother and Professor Oak, who were happy to talk to him and excited to see Harry. Harry also found out that Ash would do the gym circuit and agreed to go with the boy after a very blushing invitation from the teenager from Pallet.

Then they left for Pewter City, where the Rock Type Gym is located, Harry was excited, especially to go through the Viridian Forest, where he could finally catch a Scyther, and then evolve it into a Scizor. It would be a calm trip, if it weren't for one detail.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaah!" Came Misty's scream as they discovered her name.

"What it was?" Ash asked sideways.

"Look that!" She exclaimed in fright, pointing.

"That's cool, it's a Caterpie!" Ash said happily.

"Despite being a common Pokémon, Caterpie is a Kanto model Pokémon." Harry spoke with his arms behind his head looking at the small green pokemon, to which the two other humans looked at them in confusion. "Each region has its regional insect Pokémon. Kanto has Caterpie and its line, as well as Weedle and its line. Johto has Ledyba, Spinarak, Pineco, Heracross among others. Hoenn has Wurmple, Surskit and Nincada. Sinnoh has Kricketot, Burmy and Combee. Unova comes with Sewaddle, Venipede among others and Kalos has Scatterbug among some. Let's not even get into the regional birds or Pikaforms." He finished and everyone, even the Pokémon, looked at him with their mouths open.

"Okay..." Ash coughed into his fist, surprised by the amount of information. "Would just a Pokéball, without a fight, be enough?" He asked turning to Harry.

"I don't see why not, Cartepie must be weak enough." Harry shrugged. "No offense, dear. " He quickly added due to the caterpillar Pokémon's tearful and offended look.

"All good!" Ash pulled a pokeball from his belt. "Pokeball... Go!" So, he threw the pokeball, which hit the pokemon and absorbed it after transforming it into energy. The Pokéball spun three times and finally went out. "I did it! I caught my first pokemon, the first step towards being a Pokemon Master!" Ash celebrated happily.

Harry couldn't help but find it cute, after all, the happiness of a trainer catching his first Pokémon is always contagious.

"Look, inside this ball is the very first Pokémon I've caught in my entire life!" He showed the pokeball to us.

"Congratulations Ash!" Harry smiles at him, earning a smile in return.

"Genius, but keep it away from me, okay?" Misty shook her head.

"You're not scared of a tiny Caterpie in a Pokéball are you?" Ash asked playfully.

"Bugs give me the creeps!" Misty said out loud. "Even when they're inside a Poké Ball." She spoke more quietly. "Leave it away from me!" She exclaimed loudly again.

"I like insects even when they're not inside a Pokéball, it must be great for a Caterpie to be inside a Pokéball all comfortable inside, I love my new Pokémon." Ash said happily stroking his pokeball.

"I think only a worm would be able to love another worm."

"Very funny." Ash said with a bored look on his face. "Pikachu! We have a new friend" Ash called his pokemon, Pikachu sniffed the pokeball and let out a happy 'Pika'. "Ah Pikachu, I'm glad you like him and from now on we're going to make a lot of friends! Caterpie, you're going to stay with us!"

"What do you mean?" Misty shook nervously.

"Caterpie get out of there!" Ash called his new pokemon.

"There's nothing to be afraid of, come Caterpie and get on my shoulder." Ash called out to his new friend.

However Caterpie had another idea, he looked around and when he spotted Harry he let out a happy exclamation and ran straight to his leg.

"Well, it looks like the little boy has taken a liking to me." Harry smiled as the pokemon stroked his leg, he then bent down and petted the caterpillar.

"He really liked you." Ash smiled at Harry.

"I am happy." Harry smiled and then pulled Caterpie onto his lap and the caterpillar climbed onto his shoulder.

"By the way." Ash spoke suddenly. "Why are you following us?" He asked turning to Misty.

"W-well..." She muttered shakily as she looked at Caterpie. "M-my bike!"

"When will you forget this?" Ash asked tiredly, which Harry found hilarious, he burned the bike and now he's avoiding the subject as much as possible.

"For your information, Mr. Pokémon Master, if it weren't for you I would be cycling out of here right now!" She said angrily, something that made Harry even more amused, he loved chaos.

"If you want, I'll buy you a new one." Harry said, despite everything, he didn't want to force Misty to be trapped like this.

"No Harry, that's my problem." Ash spoke, despite being grateful for the proposal.

So they moved on, at dusk they set up camp and lit a fire, Harry could hear Pikachu and Caterpie talking as he almost fell asleep, he would have liked to let his pokemon out but the clearing was a little too small for his various partners.

At dawn Harry woke up with Caterpie on his chest, so he put an arm around the Pokémon and cuddled him. When they woke up they were gathering their things when a Pidgeotto glided and landed, picking up a worm.

"Wow, a Pidgeotto!" Ash said excitedly pulling out the Pokedex, which last night Harry synced the database with his own.

"Pidgeotto, the Bird Pokémon, Normal/Flying types, very protective of its extensive territorial area, this Pokémon will peck at any intruder. It has extraordinary vision. No matter how high it flies, it is capable of distinguishing the movements of prey." Informed Pokedex.

"Okay let's do it, Caterpie will be extremely idiotic, so the best would be Pikachu!" Ash called his electric pokemon.

After an attack, Ash managed to catch Pidgeotto. But a laugh caught his attention, when they looked in their direction, it was Team Rocket. After a ridiculous motto, they declared that they wanted Pikachu, after witnessing the rodent Pokémon's strong electrical attack.

After a fight between Team Rocket itself, something about revealing their secrets and a denial from Ash, the bandits release their Pokémon, something that Harry found stupid.

"Serious?" Harry spoke, catching everyone's attention. "After last time you'd think these clowns would have learned." Harry pulled a Pokéball from his belt and threw it, releasing Sylveon.

"Wow!? I want that Pokémon too!" Jesse exclaimed with stars in his eyes.

"Hello darling, do you come here often?" Meowth spoke passionately, making Sylveon sweat nervously, she was used to flirting from other Pokémon, but until now she hadn't found a partner she liked, that is, until she looked to the side and saw Ash's Pikachu, she let out a 'Syl " excited and winked at the electric mouse, making the yellow Pokémon turn red and Meowth let out a dramatic 'NO'.

"Well, you're stupid if you think it's going to be that easy, Sylveon is my second most powerful and skilled Pokémon!" Harry smiled confidently, which was mirrored by Sylveon.

"Wow, wait... Was that Eevee?" Ash questioned, remembering the little brown pokemon, so he pulled out his Pokedex and pointed it at Sylveon.

"Sylveon, the Entwined Pokémon, Fairy-type, when walking with its trainer, wraps its ribbon around its arm, a ribbon that is also used to release a calming aura that calms fights or reduces the hostility of its prey by making them lower their guard, then attack." The Pokedex exclaimed.

"Sylveon, Psyshock!" Harry called out to his pokemon.

"Let's help! Pikachu, Thunder Shock! Caterpie, String Shot" Ash called too.

The three Pokémon attacked together, Jesse and James tried to retaliate with Slugde and Poison Sting, however Sylveon's immense power, along with the type advantage meant the attacks didn't even hold back Psyshock, Thunder Shock andString Shot, thus hitting the poisonous Pokémon and sending them to their trainers, where the attacks caused an explosion and sent Team Rocket flying.

With the victory, Caterpie managed to evolve into Metapod, which made everyone very happy. Ash, excited by the prospect of new Pokémon, ran into the forest, Harry followed close behind, excited by the idea of catching a Scyther, Misty followed them, despite hating being in the forest full of insects.
