Platform 9 3/4
Ron Weasley was in the burrow, sitting at the table with his six siblings, it would be his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and he was terrified. What would Hogwarts be like? Would he be accepted? Popular? Bullied? He wondered all of this, his mind racing, however, most important of all to young Ron, what would happen if he had decided to be his true self? You see, while I have been referring to Ron as He, and Ron, Ron was not a boy, while his body may have looked like one, his hair, his voice, his clothes. She was truly a girl, her deepest secret, that no one knew, she was scared that she would have to live through her whole school life, as Ronald Weasley, the youngest Weasley boy, instead of Olivia Weasley, the oldest Weasley girl.
However, there was no time to think of this, as they had to get to Kings Cross station, they had traveled there by Mr. Weasley's car, although not using the flying feature. Molly had used a spell to extend the car, so there were enough seats for all 4 of the children, their luggage, and of course, herself, as they drove to Kings Cross Station, Olivia sat there, tired of being called brother and son, while she was sure, her mother would support her, she was terrified, of what her brothers, and little sister would think of her, and the muggle world. You see, her father Arthur as he was, being head of muggle artifacts at the Ministry Of Magic, Olivia had come to know many muggle opinions, especially on people like her, and she also knew quite a few Hogwarts students were muggle-borns. To calm herself she re-read her Hogwarts letter.
“Dear ‘Mr’ Weasley, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.
Yours sincerely, Minerva McGonagall Headmistress”
Olivia took a deep breath as she arrived at Kings Cross station. She and her brothers getting carts for their stuff, putting their books, and bags onto them, as they walked they came across three men and a boy, Olivia instantly recognized the men, as Remus Black, Sirius Black, and Regulus Black which must’ve made the young boy, Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived. People in robes and cloaks were swarming the four, to get a look at The Boy Who Lived, Molly, taking her two youngest children’s hands, made her way through the crowd, pushing them backward
“Alright alright! For Merlin's sake give the boy some space! He’s a child!”
The wizards and witches surrounding Harry begrudgingly dispersed, Molly had always had a commanding tone to her, especially when it came to stuff like that, Fred and George had often called it her “mum voice”. The voice that sounds like your mum is scolding you, and she’s about to start counting down from three. Remus looked to Molly,
“Thank you, Molly.”
He smiled, as they led the children back to the others. One by one the 4 Weasley children attending Hogwarts this year, ran through the wall between Platforms 9 and 10, at Kings Cross Station, fazed through it, and entered Platform 9 ¾.
Harry went through as well, going to sit down, as Olivia loaded her stuff up and went on the train. Olivia looked around, but there was nowhere to sit except in the train section Harry was in
“Uhm.. can I sit here? Everywhere else is full…”
Olivia explained shyly,
“Of course!”
Harry nodded, as Olivia opened the door and sat down.
“I’m Harry Potter, what's your name?”
Harry asked Olivia, she hesitated, unsure what to say,
“My family calls me Ron… But my new name is Olivia, Olivia Weasley.”
She sighed, unsure of Harry’s reaction
“Oh! Are you trans? My uncle Regulus is a trans man!”
Harry smiled, as did Olivia
“Yeah, I’m a trans girl!”
Another girl suddenly entered,
“Hi, uhm, can I sit here? It's my first time at Hogwarts, and well, my whole family are muggles.”
She asked anxiously
“Sure! I’m Harry, and this is Olivia Weasley.”
He smiled, as the girl sat down,
“I’m Hermione Granger.”
She nodded,
“I expect the train will be arriving at Hogwarts soon, are you two first years as well?”
They wondered
“Yeah, I have five older brothers, but only 3 go here now the other two graduated.”
Olivia agreed
“They don’t uhm, don’t know my name though, I mean they like do, but not my name, like my old name, they know me as Ron.”
She explained awkwardly,
“So,” Hermione spoke up “Are you going to tell them? Should we call you Ron around them?”
Olivia paused for a moment,
“I think so, I’ll try after we get sorted.”
Olivia smiled longingly.
