They’ve been at this for half an hour. James commented on Sirius’ hair and they’ve been thrashing about on the living room floor ever since yelling random insults at each other, at some point I think I heard Sirius tell James that his hair looked like curly fries which i think was a bit childish for his age he’s 19 for gods sakes, its mental. My head is absolutely throbbing from the noise, i think a screeching dinosaur would be quieter.
“Right, I’m going to the shop so I don’t have to listen to you two man-children yell at each other anymore.” I shout over the noise
They freeze and Sirius turns to look at me,
“Which shop?”
“IKEA,”
I groan as Sirius opens his mouth to speak.
“No no no. You two are not coming with me.”
“Please, Moony?” He says in a whiny voice and gives me a look, good Godric that look, the look that makes me concede every single time.
“Fine yes fine get a jacket on and get in the car.”
James and Sirius look at each other and grin before high-fiving and following me out the door.
This is going to be the longest day of my life.

“You forgot to pick the kids up from football for the 5th time this month!” James yells
“I was asleep! You woke me up at 6 in the morning when you came back drunk!” Sirius yells right back.
“I go out drinking so you neglect our children!? Blasphemy!”
“Maybe you should get the guy you’ve been seeing behind my back to pick up the kids because you obviously like him more than me you slut!”
James gasps and picks up the prop cup on the table pretending to throw water at Sirius. They have sat down at one of the kitchen sets and started shouting at each other like a married couple. I comb a hand through my hair and start to speed walk away. They both catch up to me and loop their arms through mine.
“Where you off to, Moons?” Sirius asks and kisses me on the cheek.
“Yeah Remus don’t be a bore.” James teases.
“Next moon i will purposely maul you both and I’ll enjoy it.”
“How violent.” Sirius grins and rests his head on my shoulder.
“Moony lets be real, you would never. You love us too much.”
If anyone asked i’d deny it but i do. I love these two childish idiots
