A hand fell on his and for a moment, he thought he felt a spark. A spark of electricity and it faded when the hand left his own, and Harry's emerald-green eyes looked up and linked up with none other than Blaise Zabini's dark brown eyes. "Eh, sorry," there was a light smile on Harry's lips, "It's fine, I should have been more careful with my stuff is all" Harry told him earnestly, maybe it was just nerves of being back to Hogwarts to finish his last year, maybe or his clumsiness was just starting up again.
Either or, it was Harry's own fault for spilling his stuff by accident.
"Probably just nerves is all, being back and all... I didn't expect you to come back after what happened..." Blaise shifted as he stood up from his crouching position and Harry did too once he scooped up his last parchment. Blaise will admit that he hadn't expected to see Harry again after the war, being the savior and all with his sister could attract much attention that he was positive that neither of the twins wanted. "I didn't at first but with Lavender and Hermione's insistence, I reluctantly agreed to come back, they are stubborn" Blaise chuckled, he'd heard about that from Draco which added to his amusement.
"I heard about that, something Draco told me last weekend," Right, Harry had to remember that Draco was Blaise's best friend. "How have you been? You know with the uh... mark and all..." Harry was nervous for Blaise initial reaction, but Blaise only waved away his nervousness with a sheepish and nervous smile, "Fine. I don't know who took the mark harder, Draco or I but it was inevitable when your parents plan your life out for you before your conceived, so I'm used to it," he rolled up his sleeve and showed him the faded mark, Harry resisted himself to touch it. He didn't have permission and he didn't want to make Blaise uncomfortable either. "Does it hurt?" he asked, "Not much like it did before but... it's permanent. And without you or your words at the trial, I might have ended up in Azkaban when I didn't have a choice. So, thank you," Harry blushed in embarrassment, "It's nothing, no need for that" Blaise laughed and rolled down his sleeve to hide the mark.
"I'll see you later Harry, I have to get to classes," Now, Harry didn't know what made him do it, but Blaise gave the most elegant and gentlemen bow to him that he's ever seen and swiftly made his exit with one last wave of goodbye until later.
Harry couldn't close his gapping mouth and the sound of his sister's snicker made him snap out of it and look behind him to see her as she held a grin and crossed her arms as her braid laid across her shoulder, "Now that," gesturing to where Blaise left, "Was both adorable and funny, also your cheeks are red" his cheeks were what?! he quickly shook his head and wiped away the blush he had, no, he can't love Blaise. Nope, keep the romantic feelings towards Ginny, she was his first love... right? "No they weren't your mental" he denied once he got himself together, "Oh but they were dear brother and if you get with him in the future, I am your number one supporter because that was cute" she gave him a kiss on the cheek and he rolled his eyes, "I can't with you sometimes," she laughed, "You love me," that he did, that he did. "Come on," she laughed on the way out the door and Harry rolled his eyes and followed her out of the room.
