Our story

The next memorie started to play but instead of being on the train like they were in the first memory they were instead in the great hall of Hogwarts. They watch curiously as they see the new first year's start to gather in the hall.

“Why are we watching their sorting" Hermione asked 

“Well you're not going to watch every first year's sorting, just the ones of important people in the Marauders era story including people not in Harry's parents first year.” Chiaki said. 

“What do you mean by important people" Draco asked Chiaki 

“I mean people who play an important role in how Harry's parents got together or how Severus Snape became the way he is.” Chiaki said with a slit grin. 

They didn't know how to feel about that and who would to be honest, to learn that there is a reason why your parents got together, why someone is the way they are. It's just strange to think about and to learn about when you think everything you know is correct. 

“I've seen the reason why Snape is the way he is. I saw his memories." Harry said not really believe this kitsune. 

“How would you feel when I tell you those memories were fake memories some put in place so you wouldn't find out the truth” the Kitsune said with another horrible smile. The group of Hogwarts sixth year's just looked at the mythology creature in front of them floating. Like They didn't just say something that changed everything that the kids believed. 

“Before you ask anymore question and what I just said let's move ok to the characters in this story” Chiaki said

Hermione didn't like Chiaki at all and to be honest it's quite understandable. This kitsune obviously knew more than they did and knew more than probably Dumbledore or the Ministry of Magic. To be quite frank it's strange that they are able to make this whole movie theater and to be able to show them memories that were replaced by someone based on what they said to Harry. 

“ Why are we reacting to this now?" Hermione asked. 

“Because why not” Chiaki said

The memory starts again and they see professor McGonagall with a piece of paper in her hand with the other hand holding her glasses. She then proceeds to call out the name “Aurora Sinistra”. 

They watched as professor Sinistra walked up the steps and sat on the stool waiting for the sorting hat to be placed on her head. Once the sorting hat was on her head, he screamed Ravenclaw. The sorting hat was taken off her head and then she got up and walked to Ravenclaws table in the great hall. 

“ I didn't know Professor Sinistra was in the same year as my parents and Snape ” Harry said

“Well it does kinda make sense, ” Neville said. 

“I do like Ms.Sinistra quite a lot,” Luna said,happy to know that her favorite teacher was in the same house as her. 

Before anything else could be said professor McGonagall called out another name. 

“Alice Fortescue,” McGonagall said. 

Neville froze hearing his mother's name. It shocked him to find out that his mother is an important character in this ‘story’ as Chiaki said and if his mother is an important character then his father must be as well. He watched as his mother walked up the stairs and sat down on the stoll professor McGonagall put there and watched as the sorting hat was placed on her head. The sorting hat shouted Gryffindor. His mother had a huge smile on her face as she went to Griffindors table. Professor McGonagall proceeded to call out another name. 

“ Andromeda Black”

The group just looked at the movie screen shocked to learn that other than Sirius Black being an important character in this story. So the Blacks are going to be important to the ‘story’ well they can't be for sure since it's only Sirius and Andromeda that are in fact important to this ‘story’.Andromeda was sorted into Slytherin, which confused Harry a bit. He knew that the Black were always sorted into Slytherin except for his godfather Sirius Black but it's never registered to him that Tonks mom would be placed into Slytherin. 

The next person Professor McGonagall called was “Bellatrix Black”. 

Harry and Neville froze with rage for that women, Neville was pissed because she was one of the death eaters that torture his parents. That woman took away the relationship he could have had with his parents. Harry on the other hand hated Bellatrix for taking away the only family he had left, his godfather and her cousin. 

The group filled with disgust for Bellatrix watched as she walked up the stairs proudly, then she sat down on the stoll crossing her legs. She looked at the crowd of Hogwart students with a smug smile on her face. Professor McGonagall didn't get to put the sorting hat on Bellatrix's head all the way before the sorting hat screamed Slytherin. Bellatrix walked with pride to the Slytherin table. 

The next name that was called is 

“Bruce Mulciber.”

 Most of the group have never heard the name before but Draco knew it well. Mulciber is great friends with his parents and from what he knew about the man he wasn't a death eater but he always seemed somewhat sad whenever he came to the manor for one of the party's his parents threw. Draco didn't know why he always seemed somewhat sad but he did. Another thing Draco noticed about Mulciber was that he always had a necklace on that had a matching wedding ring set and a locket . The necklace seems to be special to Mulciber since he will sometimes open the lockets and look at the picture's in the locket. Draco knew it's mostly likely for a love one Mulciber lost.  Lucius and Narssisa never understood why the necklace was so important to their friend but they never asked why. Focusing back on the memories of these important people to the “story”. Draco watched as the sorting hat screamed Slytherin and as Mulciber went to Slytherins table. 

Professor McGonagall called out another name which was “Bartemius Crouch” 

or Barty Crouch. Harry was shocked to hear their old “professor's” name but here he was hearing his name being called. Harry didn't know how to feel about Barty because he was a wonderful professor but he was also the reason Voldemort was able to kill Cedric Diggory. He also felt sorry for the man though, when he saw the look in Barty’s eyes when his soul was being taken by a dementor wasn't fear but relief. Like he has been waiting a long time to be killed. Harry never understood why someone who lives to serve Voldemort will throw their life away just like that.  Barty definitely knew the expecto patronum spell. He could have gotten away but he chose to lose his soul then to live but Harry should be focusing on the memories.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione couldn't wait to see what house Bartemius Crouch Jr was in. Ever since they found out about the man's past they argue if he was a Ravenclaw or Slytherin, well it was mostly Harry and Hermione. Harry never really argued with Hermione but this is an argument he wasn't willing to back down from. 

Harry believed Barty was a Slytherin since he is very cunning and Hermione believed he was a Ravenclaw because of the 10 O.W.L he got when he was at Hogwarts while Ron felt like he could be in both houses for different reasons. Harry and Hermione watched the memories waiting to hear what house the Sorting Hat would put Barty in but it seems like the Sorting Hat was having a bit of a hard time trying to figure out which house he should place Barty in. After a little while longer the sorting hat screamed Ravenclaw. Harry groaned knowing he lost the argument with Hermione and bet. He didn't know why they chose to do a bet but they did. They watch as Barty went to Slytherins table. 

The next name that was called to be sorted was. 

“Charity Burbage”

Professor Burbage was one of Hermione's favorite teachers because she taught young wizards and witches about muggles since she was muggleborn like her. It upset Hermione to hear about how Professor Burbage was kidnapped and killed in front of death eaters. Draco was traumatized from watching Nagini bite the professor's neck. There was so much blood that came out of the wound, Draco and Hermione focused back onto the memories. To see Professor Burbage sitting on the stoll and Professor McGonagall putting the Sorting Hat on her head. Once the Sorting Hat was Charity's head he screamed Hufflepuff. It didn't surprise the group that the Professor was a Hufflepuff. 

The next name Professor McGonagall called out was “ Dorcus Meadows”

Hearing the name of the witch that nearly took down the death eaters by herself surprised Harry, Ron, and Hermione. They didn't expect to hear her name but it did make sense that she is important to the “story”. Luna also knew about Dorcus Meadows because her father was good friends with the witch. The group watched as Dorcus walked up the stairs and sat on the stoll. The Sorting Hat was then placed onto her head, it didn't take long for the Sorting Hat to scream our Slytherin. That also surprised the golden trio since they thought Dorcus Meadows was a Gryffindor but Slytherin also made sense. 

Professor McGonagall then called out the name “Evan Rosier”. Harry knew that name from the memories Dumbledore showed him. Harry didn't know how much of that memory was true but the name was actually something true from the memories the headmaster showed him but that didn't mean everything he was shown was true. They watch as Evan was placed in Slytherin. Then the name “Edmund Avery” and he was also placed into Slytherin.The next name that was called was Neville dad and he was placed into Gryffindor

“That's all the memories for today,” Chiaki said.
