It was a warm summers day and regulus black was out shopping leaving a sweaty James potter alone with nothing to do. Finally, after hours of being bored (more like 10 minutes) he decides to go down to the lake near there house.
Scribbling down a note for regulus to find he quickly changes into his swim wear and puts on some sun block. He rushes out the door and jogs the short way to the lake.
Once he's down at the lake he throws out his blanket and throws off his tee shirt. He climbs up a small rock cliff (about 7 feet away from the water) and jumps off it making a huge splash as he gos.
He swims back and forth for a while before finally slowing down and floating on his back.
He has his eyes closed and his body resting in the water when he hears a crunch and bolts up right.
A smile breaks out on his face, as he sees regulus in a white tee shirt and grey shorts (not his normal outfit) but beside his unusual outfit he's still wearing the same sour look on his face.
"Reg come in the water its lonely without you "James says with his best puppy dog eyes. Regulus stutters over his words "oh I don't know if I should..." he says in a small voice. James was not having it though "come on please Ill teach even teach you!'.
"I'm not even wearing a swimsuit though "regulus says a small frown on his face. "Thats ok! Just wear your boxers "James says flapping his hand up and down. Finally, regulus sighs and James smiles. Regulus slides off his shorts and yanks off his shirt and lets them fall to the ground. He makes his way into the water but stops right Infront of James.
"Will you teach me? "Regulus asks. James stutters over his answer shocked because regulus had never wanted to know how to swim. Yes of course, love" James says with a cake eating grin on his face.
They start off with the basics like how to float. "Yes, just like that! You're doing it" James claps his hands with excitement.
As the day slowly grew into night regulus got better, it most definitely wasn't the best swimming, but James is still proud of him and swoops him up and swings him around. Regulus squeals with shock.
Placing regulus back down he hears regulus snicker and then he says, "would you like to race" with a smile on his face. "To where?" James asks a smile on his face. Regulus looks around "to that rock" James has to squint to see it sense he doesn't have his glasses.
"You're on "James says with a smirk."3 2...1!"Reguls shouts and there off. James sees his boyfriend want to win and slows down acting like he was tired. Once they get to the rock (regulus wins because James lets him} Regulus smiles and starts gloating. But James has different ideas on how to celebrate his win and slowly walks over to him with a smile on his face.
Regulus pauses and looks up and they lock lips under the moon....
