New Hero
Dazai had spent the time in between his remedial lessons and dinner figuring out how he wanted to do this, absentmindedly walking around the otherwise deserted halls. Of course, a lot of people were out and about, but they always avoided him. He doesn’t want to admit this, but after putting himself in a position like this, it gets lonely.
Blaise had decided to tag along with Draco and Pansy to do some studying in the library, joined by Crabbe and Goyle (not like Dazai cares- he's still confident neither of them can read) and all the Gryffindors are busy in their common room with other activities. The only person who might be willing to share his company is Luna, but who knows what that girl is up to. Or where she is, for that matter.
She may ramble on about the strangest thing you’ve ever heard of, but she is a nice (and smart, clearly) girl. And she’s also a huge troublemaker. If she joins the gang, she’d be placed under the twins from the start. No denying that, at least, but he’s still thinking about that as well. Sure, Ginny loves her- they're best friends, and by extension all the Weasleys love her- but is Luna ready to be part of the gang? Would she be willing to become his puppet?
He’d have to bring that up with everyone else, it seems. Right now, he’s got another issue on hand: Chuuya. There’s two possible ways Dazai can use him to push along everything a bit more.
One.
He’d join the gang and become one of Dazai’s allies to use whenever he saw fit.
Two.
He’d gain trust from the student body of Hogwarts and turn them all against Dazai.
He isn’t sure which one he thinks will be better, but... Surely, he could use Chuuya both ways? Become a secret member of the gang, and Dazai can talk to him in private while pretending to be like anyone else? Or even better, a hero who’s going to be the only one not afraid of Dazai?
Yes.
Absolutely.
The plan was already forming inside of his mind.
Dazai knows exactly how to help Chuuya become a hero.
