Ron's a crime boss, didn't you know?

Honestly, Ron didn't mean to become the most renowned and infamous crime boss of London. He didn't! I mean, kind of... Well...

Anyway, it all started out innocently enough.

He was only twelve years old and it was the summer of 1991. Ron couldn't be more grateful to be alive, mainly because of the disastrous first year at Hogwarts. He thought that becoming Harry Potter's best friend would be great, not life threatening.

Getting almost killed by a baby dragon and large, moving chess pieces was not fun; especially since Voldemort was behind it all. But, almost being killed was not the only thing he gleaned from that year's experience.

It was that Hagrid had entered an extremely shady game of poker, and won.

Now, Ron was young but he knew that he would want a piece of that action.

So, what does a child do in this case?

Ask the giant where it happened and trot on over. The establishment was in the middle of Knockturn Alley, hidden behind some carefully placed charms that Ron walked by. Passing by some vampire Ron opened the door, emitting a loud creak.

He walked in.

Because of still being somewhat shell shocked of the past year, but also being hard to faze because of the ghoul living with him, he didn't bat an eye at all of the characteristic people there.

Looking back on that, he could see why he was recruited.

Being tall for his age, he was able to slip past many others, getting to the back room easily.

Getting into the game, however, was a challenge.

"Look, kid, I don't know how you got here, but I don't think you have enough galleons to place bets." The goblin, yes goblin, sneered.

Ron, face straight, placed a small red gemstone on the table.

"This is part of the philosopher's stone." He remarked dryly.

Then he was in.

After an hour or so smoking the other players, he had earned over thirty galleons.

And a card shoved at his face from a masked man.

And then he was recruited into the... business.

The business, he soon found out, was a bloody one; but also full of honor. Guns, knives and some magic here and there, Ron figured out how to survive pretty quickly.

The gang he worked in was full of people two times his age, which honestly, wasn't much. But they showed him what brotherly love and compassion can be in the face of violence.

Years had passed and the gang only grew in size, money and danger. When Ron turned fifteen he had officially been made the right hand man.

And then after a couple of years, the defeat of a Dark Lord, Ron became the boss when the old man died.

When he turned down the offer to become an Aruor after the war, many family members were dumbfounded, nonetheless they let it go.

It wasn't like Ron hadn't told anyone of his job, it's just that he neglected to inform them.

And hey, if Molly suddenly had help with the groceries from strangers, it was anyone's guess.

Besides, his entire family had speculated it was something muggle.

That was true.

Sort of.

When it came to the dating apartment, however, everyone knew. He and Hermione had tried dating, but it just didn't work out. They just didn't match up in the romantic way.

They agreed they were better off as friends.

So when at his 23rd birthday party thrown by his gang, Ron, drunk on rich wine, caught sight of the sexy Nate Barrow, his rival mob boss; he couldn't help but lay on the charm.

Even if Nate would probably killed him for the insolence.

Yet when Nate took one look at Ron, eyes him up and down, then proceeded to flirt back... it was as good as gold.

Red hair and blonde hair. Blue eyes with brown eyes. Tall and gangly with short and stacked muscles. Rival gangs, as the bosses; who would have thought?

They were able to bring their gangs together in holy matrimony.

After Nate asked the question, of course. That was answered with an energetic yes.

Now, the Weasley family were rightfully shocked. Not about the gayness, Percy had gotten married to Oliver just last year, but it was the way the wedding was set up.

Many, many questionable people showed up, on both sides of the families.

But mainly on Nate's side.

It wasn't until most of the guests left, and Harry was sure he saw some of them with guns, that they questioned him.

Or more like yelled at him.

"WHAT WAS THAT!?" Molly screamed, face as red as her hair. Ron's family stood behind her, confused but demanding in their stances.

"Ron, who were those people?" Arthur asked.

Nate, who was standing beside his now husband, raised one eyebrow.

"They don't know?" Nate had turned towards Ron, an amused smile playing at his lips.

Ron shrugged. "They never asked."

"What are you talking about?" Hermione asked.

Ron turned back towards her, slinging an arm around Nate's waste and said, "My job is being the boss of one of the most ruthless and notorious mobs in London."

He had said it so calmly, as if he was talking about the weather, that at first his family couldn't comprehend it.

Then it hit.

Amazed silence hung in the air before Molly screeched.
