Chapter 1
Harry had fled from the U.K. His plan had been to go alone but Luna had appeared with Draco saying that they had to come with because they would be needed eventually she'd been seeing weird things. He didn't put up a fight. He transferred all of his vaults and stuff to Seattle. He got a new wardrobe, claimed his Lordship titles and inheritance, got rid of his scar which was much easier now that the horocrux was gone, and got contacts and a bank card. He promised Gringotts to breed and help train a Basilisk in return for the dragon but they couldn't treat it like they had the dragon. They had to take good care of it or he would know and this time wouldn't leave the bank standing. They had agreed to his terms and he was allowed to continue banking with them. He booked a first-class flight for the three of them and they were on their way to America.
"Where are we going?" Draco asked when they'd been in the air about three hours. He was whispering.
"I will take us to the place where Harry will meet his soulmate." Luna answered. "I changed our tickets. St. Louis is nice and we'll be very happy there but only after Harry has met his soulmate and we've been bonded with the family. Besides you, Teddy, and Harry have very distant family where we are going."
"We....do?" Draco asked.
"Marius Black had a son Jacob Black who had a son Joesph Black who had a son Ephraim Black, who had a son William Black, who had a son William Black, who had a son Jacob Black who is around our age." Luna said, typing on her screen. "Harry had this family tree done."
The family tree appeared on Draco's screen. Adding to the family tree that he already had. He had a complete one not like the one at Grimmauld Place where members had been blasted off.
"Oh, yes, I see." Draco nodded. No one but the three of them and Teddy could see their screens so they were using tablets to cover what they were doing. No one without magic, supernatural, preternatural, and such abilities could see their screens. "I had wondered what had happened to Marius. I will send this to mother, she will be very pleased to know."
Harry was too busy with Teddy to care. Andromeda reached forward and hit her nephew's shoulder. He sent her his entire family tree project. She was content. Harry and Draco were sitting together in the front row with Luna and Andromeda was behind them.
Harry hadn't said a word since he was fourteen. He was almost eighteen. Four years. No one had seemed to care but Sirius, Neville, and Luna. He'd gone through a lot but it was all over now and he could finally focus on his life and the important things in it. Like Teddy. He was shocked that Andromeda had decided to come along when they'd showed up at her house. Luna had told them that he should say goodbye to her and Teddy. They'd showed up, Draco had been stared at for all of twenty minutes, and then Draco had explained what they were doing. Andromeda had ordered them to give her time to pack and had come with them.
"Your baby is behaving so well." a flight attendant giggled to Luna.
"He's not ours." Luna answered. "His parents died recently. She's his Grandmother and Harry is his godfather. But thank you, he is a very well-mannered child. Though he won't like the turbulence."
"None, of them do." the flight attendant nodded. "Give him his dummy to suck on or a bottle and it will help."
Harry blinked at her and nodded rapidly. He quickly got out a blue dummy and put it in Teddy's mouth. Teddy seemed to like this. The little baby didn't like it at all when they hit turbulence an hour before landing but didn't fuss or cry like the other babies on the flight.
Harry was trying to get Teddy to stop fussing as they walked away from baggage claim.
"Allow me." Luna said dreamily and squirted some kind of liquid from an eye dropper into Teddy's mouth. The baby swallowed. "Now bounce and burp and you'll have to change him."
Sure enough, a little bounce and burp had Teddy burping loudly and voiding in his nappy. He was smiling and calm instantly.
"Mum always did that to me when we went on plane rides when I was younger." Luna shrugged when Harry returned from changing Teddy. "I didn't know if I needed it but better to be prepared."
Harry nodded sagely at her words. Andromeda and Draco shared a look. They were still unsure what Luna was doing here.
"You get used to it." Draco sighed referring to Luna's weird way of talking. "She's a Seer of some sort or another from what I understand."
"I see." Andromeda nodded. "What is the weather like in this place we're going to, Miss. Lovegood?"
"It's Luna and just like home." Luna answered.
"Yay, I won't need to adjust to anything but the time change." Draco hummed. "Are we apparating?"
"This a portkey to a Black Property in the area." Luna said holding a baseball cap. "I had Harry pick it up. This will take us right where we need to go but we'll need some elves as it hasn't been lived in since Marius married his wife and moved to the reservation."
They found a designated portkey area and hung on to the cap. They were soon standing in front of a Victorian-style manor.
Draco whistled.
"I like it." he said.
"As do I. A coat of paint, a proper garden, some flowers, and it will be perfect." Andromeda agreed.
"On the outside." Luna warned.
Harry had not been too thrilled with the inside. He promptly used his screen to call for Winky and Kreacher who were only too happy to get rooms ready for the five of them and begin the cleanup. The house was going to need a lot of work but he could see it being perfectly livable soon. They explained the manor together with the house-elves and claimed rooms. Harry had claimed his room the moment he saw it. Draco had glared at him but he'd always been faster and had made a green 'H' that matched his eyes appear on the door.
"Is that how we're doing it then?" Andromeda chuckled.
Harry blinked at her sheepishly and blushed. He'd always wanted to have a room claimed by him and when Dudley had been younger he'd had a golden 'D' hanging from his door. He knew it was stupid but he'd always wanted one of those letters on his door.
"This has to be a muggle thing." Draco told Luna who also looked as confused as he felt by the letter. She relaxed with a smile and nodded at him in agreement.
Harry remembered that the Weasleys had used the letters too and told them that via the screen.
"Yes, well they had seven kids in one house." Draco stated. "You would need to have letters on the door to figure out who's room was who's. Though two share the same first letter. I suppose the twins roomed together though so it would be easier."
Harry thought about his words and nodded. Yes, he was probably right.
Once they'd all claimed their rooms, Harry had spent an hour in an intense staring contest with Draco when he'd put a golden 'D' on his door Harry had vanished it every time Draoc had put it back up so Draco had finally gone for silver, they had a nice little meal in the sitting room. Sorry living room, they were in America now.
"So where are we?" Draco finally asked.
"Forks, Washington." Luna answered. "To the East live a pack of wolf shifters, not werewolves but shifters. That is where we will find your Black family. Jacob is one of them but has yet to shift. I've seen it happening though. To the West live a coven of vegetarian vampires who live on only animal blood. It is here that Harry will meet his soulmate."
"Harry's soulmate is a vampire?" Andromeda demanded.
"You get used to Potter always being odd and doing the impossible." Draco deadpanned.
Harry nodded solemnly.
"Don't bother with the female coven members Harry, that is not where your heart truly lies and you know it."
Harry blushed deeply.
"Nothing wrong with that." Draco shrugged.
"Agreed." Andromeda nodded sipping her tea.
"I prefer both myself." Draco informed.
Harry relaxed.
"Oh, dear, I didn't see this." Luna gasped her eyes wide. "The wrackspurts blocked me. I'm so sorry, Harry!" she looked terrified. "I didn't see him!"
"See who?" Andromeda demanded.
"The brother who looks like Cedric." Luna answered in a shaking voice. "An ancestor maybe or a distant relation. I don't know but we all need to brush up on Occlumency. Since we are going to be around him."
Harry didn't like that there was a Cedric look-alike in town. He didn't like it at all but he couldn't do anything about it. Losing Cedric and seeing the rebirth had been too much for him and he'd lost his voice. He'd had a huge crush on Cedric and seeing him die like that when he hadn't had to.....Seeing someone who looked like him wasn't going to be easy. It wasn't going to be easy at all. But they were here to meet family and his soulmate. His soulmate was in a coven with this guy so he'd have to get used to him. He could do this.
Just as soon as he found the dueling room and blew up every dueling dummy in there a couple hundred times. Which he promptly did.
Andromeda had declared that since they were away from the magical world and wars and all of that they they would all go get checked out by medical professionals. Harry had try to flee but Andromeda was holding Teddy so Harry had come back giving her a begging look with his arms out. She'd given him a pointed look and he nodded resigned. She'd given him Teddy.
He was confined to a wheelchair and he was pissed about it. Luckily, it was a magical wheelchair that responded to his mental commands or commands on his screen. The wheelchair was nice and comfortable and had state-of-the-art magical and muggle technology. So it came with a built-in tablet that he could use to make it seem like he was controlling the chair and could cover him using his screens. It looked like a high-tech motorized wheelchair that even had magic pockets on the sides where he could keep his things.
