Much Awaited Guests

The atmosphere in the great hall was filled with anticipation as students and staff gathered together, wondering what could be so important that the headmaster called for a sudden meeting at 7 a.m. The hall buzzed with excitement and curiosity as whispers and hushed conversations echoed throughout the room.

What amazed them even more was the presence of some familiar faces. There were some notable members present, like,

Charlus and Dorea Potter

Arthur and Molly Weasley

Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy

Andromeda and Ted Tonks

Augusta Longbottam

Xenophilius and Pandora Lovegood

Alphrad Black

Fabian and Gideon Prewett

Benji Fenwick

The McKinnon family

The Bones family

and many more.

"Mom! Dad! What are you guys doing here?" enquired a perplexed James Potter.

"We received a letter from Albus requesting our presence here," Dorea Potter explained.

"Yeah, I got a similar one too," Augusta Longbottom said, "and claimed it was something urgent."

"Where is Albus? I didn't see him here." Molly Weasley demanded.

It appears that, in addition to the students and faculty, a few parents and graduates were also present. It piqued everyone's interest in the information that would be disclosed today.

Just as the clock struck seven, the doors swung open, and the headmaster entered with an ethereal presence. A small fairy fluttered beside him, her delicate wings shimmering in the morning light. The sight of the fairy left everyone in awe, their eyes widening with wonder and amazement.

"Wow! Is that a fairy?" asked Fabian Prewett

"Look at her wings! They're so beautiful!" exclaimed Lily Evans.

"I've never seen a fairy up close before. This is truly magical," whispered a third-year Hufflepuff.

"Did he call all of us here to show his new pet? We are all busy people," said Lucius in an uninterested tone. Which earned him a deathly stare from his wife, Narcissa.

"Shut up, Malfoy. No one asked for your opinion here," said Marlene.

"Last time I checked, it was a free country, Ms. McKinnon," answered Lucius with a scowl.

The headmaster raised his hand, signaling for silence. Gradually, the chatter died down, some a bit reluctantly, and all eyes turned towards the headmaster and the fairy by his side. The headmaster cleared his throat and spoke with authority.

"Thank you all for gathering here today. I have called this sudden meeting because we have a very important matter to discuss, one that concerns all of us."

"What is so important, Albus, that you have to summon us so urgently?" asked Andromeda a bit warily.

"All will be revealed in due time. Have a bit of patience, my dear," replied Albus.

Lucius was about to open his mouth but closed it after seeing a steady glare from Narcissa.

He then gestured towards the fairy, and she hovered gently in front of the crowd. The room fell into a hush, waiting expectantly for the fairy's revelation. However, to their surprise, the fairy seemed to be in no hurry to share the news.

"Why are we waiting, then? What's the holdup?" Sirius Black questioned him impatiently.

"Calm down, my child. We are awaiting some important company, which will help us better understand the situation at hand." Explained Dumbledore.

Christian was thinking that the headmaster seemed a bit too relaxed in a confusing situation like this. Not to mention the mysterious (not the usual twinkling, mind you) look in his eyes. It all seems a little strange, to be honest.

Just then, a small house elf appears, darting into the Great Hall and announcing the arrival of guests. The room fills with anticipation as the newcomers enter.

The door to the great hall opened, and a family of three entered. Dumbledore went towards them and welcomed them inside.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the esteemed Delacour family," he announced, his voice carrying throughout the room. Madame Michelle Delacour, regal and graceful, acknowledged the warm reception with a gracious nod. She was accompanied by her son, Lord Louis Delacour, and his wife, Lady Apolline Delacour, who was visibly pregnant.

Christians head snapped towards the entrance where the Delacour family stood, wondering why they come here all the way from France.

"The situation must be that important," he muttered, very much in conflict with the ongoing matters.

"I wonder who all will come today," he asked no one in particular while analysing the scene unfolding in front of him.

"I have heard about them. The Delacours. They are one of the oldest French pureblood families known for their works in alchemy," said Evan Rosier.

"Yeah, and they are also known for their Veela ancestry," added Regulus Black.

The Delacours were followed by a middle-aged aristocrat with fine robes and long hair tied at the nape of his neck.

"I think I have seen him before," added a very confused Remus Lupin.

"That guys, Chris dragged, "Is the newly elected..." He was cut out by the headmaster, who introduced the person who followed the Delacours.

"I present to you the honourable French Minister of Magic, Monsieur Lorenzo Petre." Christian Sighed.

"Well. That's what I am about to say."

"Can we start?" asked a very excited Bill Weasley.

"No, my boy, we are waiting for some important guests from America. Then we can start," said the headmaster.

By that time, everybody was getting rather impatient to wait any further.

"Albus, are you sure they are coming? It's already eight. Maybe we can start and later fill them in," said Flitwick.

It seems like the headmaster is considering what the charms professor said when the doors opened again with a loud bang.

While everybody was wondering about the new arrival, Christian had a hunch on who these new guests were.

Upon seeing the new guests, Albus Dumbledore smiled, his eyes twinkling with delight as he stepped forward to welcome them.

The first to arrive were the DuPonts. Lord Ernest Dupont, tall and dignified, led the way, his wife Charlotte by his side, her gentle smile a beacon of warmth. Their children, Albert and Agnes, walked gracefully in their parents' wake.

With them is an elderly man, Pierre Fawley, a venerable figure whose wisdom spanned generations.

Following closely behind came the Rosarios. Elijah Rosario, distinguished and commanding, guided his wife Mabel, her grace matched only by her sharp wit.

The last to arrive were the Ferre-Grangers. Francesca Ferre, matriarch of the family, strode with purpose, her gaze steady and unwavering. Beside her walked Angelo Ferre, his wife, Elenore Ferre, and their son, Phillipe Ferre. With them came Silas Ferre, the American Minister of Magic, his son Raphael, and his daughter-in-law Nadine. And trailing behind them was his grandson, Nicklaus Ferre, taking in the wonder called Hogwarts.

The room buzzed with conversation, and the atmosphere was charged with excitement with the arrival of new guests.

"I had heard that the DuPonts are the descendants of Morgona le Fay and are very proficient in the field of magic," said a final-year Hufflepuff.

"Oh my God, is that Mr. Fawley?". "The rumours are that his lineage was gifted with fae magic," exclaimed Alice.

"The Rosarios are an old pureblood family with a lot of investments in various fields," stated Barty.

"Is it true that the Ferre family has rather powerful kids with elemental and soul magic?" asked Amos Diggory, with awe evident in his tone.

While all this was happening, Christian was both shocked and excited to see his entire family after such a long time.

"Prof..." Peter was cut off by a sudden swoosh sound near the entrance, and there stood a sophisticated elderly woman with a serene smile on her face.

"Ah well, if it isn't the esteemed headmistress, Priscilla Hawthorne of the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." Albus exclaimed, giving Lady Hawthorne a quick kiss on the knuckles.

"It's been a long time since I saw Albus. I feared you had forgotten your way to America," said Mrs. Hawthorne. "Anyway, I brought the students you asked with me. Let me call them."

The students from Ilvemonry followed their headmistress to the great hall. As the new students lined up, the Sorting Hat was poised on a stool, ready to assign them different houses for the time being. One girl with deep red hair stepped forward, her eyes alight with disapproval.

"I don't see why we can't just sit together," she protested, crossing her arms.

The headmaster responded with a gentle yet firm tone, "It's necessary, my dear. Each of you will be sorted into a house by the Sorting Hat for the time being."

Murmurs of agreement and uncertainty rippled through the crowd. The red-headed girl sighed and grudgingly took her position in line as the old, patched hat began sorting.

Four students get sorted into both Hufflepuff (Alyssandra Dupont, Ella Montgomery, Ivanna Rosier, and Natasha Connell) and Slytherin (Jaxon Rosier, Aldrin Rosario, Anastasia Dagworth-Granger, and Phillipe Ferre). While three each got sorted into both Gryffindor (Breanna Labonair, Leanne Petre, and Andrew Hawthorne) and Ravenclaw (Evanka Fawley, Yvette Osborne, and Hyperion Greengrass).

After the sorting of the students, Albus Dumbledore stepped on the dais and explained to the newcomers why they were called. Then he looked at the fairy, who was resting on his chair, and said,

"So, let's begin."
