Chapter 2
‘Harry, hurry up!’ Ron said, calling out to me. ‘Just wait a bit.’ I called back ‘I think I see something, over there. At the bottom of the lake.’ Ron walked up to me. ‘Oh, I see it. How are we gonna get that?’ Ron turned to me, but I was already taking off my shirt ‘I guess I’ll have to get it myself.’ With that, I dived into the cold water and after a while I came back up, holding what looked like a glowing blue rock ‘Ah, this thing’s cold.’ I complained, quickly giving the stone to Ron ‘Yeah, no kidding. What you gonna do with it?’ Ron asked, ‘I don’t know, but maybe Hermoine knows something about it.’ I said, putting my clothes back on ‘Come on, let’s go.’.
Me and Ron arrived and walked through the portrait hole into the common room ‘Where have you two been?’ Hermoine asked as soon as she saw them ‘We’ve found something we think is gonna help us out. Let’s head to the library.’ I said.
‘Wow, this looks... interesting.’ Hermoine said, looking at the tesseract ‘Yeah, we figured you’d know something about it.’ Ron said. ‘I mean all I can really tell you is that it’s called a tesseract, see, it has a small cube inside.’ Hermoine said, pointing to the middle of the tesseract ‘Other than that I’ve never seen anything like this before, sorry.’ She replied ‘But I think you should take it to Professor Dumbledore, Harry. He might know something about it.’ She said, looking at me. ‘I will. But are you sure you nothing about it?’ I asked, looking straight at her ‘No, not a thing. I’ve never seen anything like it honestly. I’ll do some more research into some other magical artifacts just to make sure. But remember, take it straight to Dumbledore. Ok?’ She said looking me and Ron in the eyes ‘Don’t worry, we’ll take it.’ I replied ‘Ok, can we head to lunch already? I’m starving.’ Ron complained

A few hours later...
I lay in bed, holding the stone and lost in thought. I could be in the common room, hanging out with everyone else, but I decided to take a closer look at this ‘tesseract’. I turn it around in my Dragonhide gloves, looking for any sign, any marking. ‘What’s that?’ I said to myself as I noticed a small gem in the middle. Unexpectedly Fred and George opened the door, I quickly put the tesseract away ‘Hey, there’s Harry!’ They said, ‘Come on, chill with us.’ Fred said, ‘What’s that?’ George asked ‘W-what?’ ‘That thing you put away. What is it?’ George pressed ‘Oh, that. It’s nothing, don’t worry about it. Come on, let’s go.’ I said, quickly leading them both out of the room.

As everyone lay asleep in their beds a figure wearing a cape with accents of gold and green slowly slipped into sixth years' room and caught a glowing blue light coming from under Harry’s bed. It carefully tip-toed to Harry’s bed and reached under it to pull out the tesseract. Afterward, it quickly left the room, leaving it untouched.

The next morning...
‘Harry!’ Hermoine shouted, ‘How could you lose it?’ ‘I don’t know, ok? I don’t know.’ Harry replied, ‘I can’t believe this.’ Hermoine sighed ‘I guess there’s nothing we can do about it now. Next time listen when I ask you to give something to Dumbledore for safekeeping.’ She said getting up ‘I’m going to study.’ She said plainly before leaving ‘Don’t know what’s got her all worked up.’ Ron said
