Chapter 7
It's been a while. The girl came up with a plan to kill without using spells. With the help of her knowledge in potions, Hermione prepared poison in one of the cubicles in the toilet. It was equipped by the students themselves, who needed the need to train in this art. The contents of the cubicle were hidden, and appeared after Revelio's spell.
Draco's task was easy. Buy some expensive alcohol. One that looks like a gift not from a student. He coped with this task. At an untimely time, I went to London and bought a bottle of elite whiskey.
Hermione poured half of the contents of the cauldron into the bottle and used a spell to seal it, giving it the appearance of "just out of the store." I poured the rest of the poison into a cone and hid it in my things for a rainy day. All that remained was to give the alcohol to Dumbledore as a gift from some professor, and the job was done.
On the evening of the same day, the Malfoys were sitting in the living room. Draco was looking at the fire in the fireplace, Hermione was reading a book, lying on the couch with her head on the guy's lap.
"Have you heard the news?" Theodore Knott came into the living room and sat down in an armchair.
"What is it?" Both of them asked. Did it really work out?
"Weasley got into the hospital wing. Poisoned, they say."
"What?!" Hermione exclaimed in annoyance. She had been cooking this poison for so long, and it had somehow been drunk by the Weasleys.
"How did this happen?" Draco asked, trying to be calm.
"I do not know all the details, but he drank some alcohol. And that one was probably meant for another person, as the professors said," Nott said and took the book from Hermione to see what she was reading.
Once again, their plan failed.
Weasley survived. The poison was strong, but Potter was nearby at the time and neutralized the poison. And this meant one thing — you need to think of another way, and there is too little time left.
A few days later, Ron was discharged from the hospital, and Malfoy was not at breakfast. Hermione knew that he was supposed to be busy with the closet, and at lunch he would come and tell her everything.
"So, I tell her that I don't want to read books anymore..." Pansy told about her mother and her studies. "Oh, Draco is coming!"
Hermione immediately turned towards the exit of the Great Hall and saw her brother. A smile immediately appeared on her face. But for some reason he stopped. Hermione quickly looked around. Harry Potter. He was also looking at Draco, and then suddenly walked forward. My brother was no longer in sight.
"I'm coming now!" The girl shouted and walked briskly after the Gryffindor, constantly repeating to herself. "If nothing happens, Merlin, give us all strength and patience…"
She lost sight of them. It seemed that the guys walked down the corridor and turned into the toilet, but perhaps they continued on their way towards the offices. She stood between the aisles until Snape rushed past her, and Potter jumped out of the toilet with frightened eyes. Then suddenly she understood everything and rushed after the professor.
What she saw shocked her. She screamed, covering her mouth with her hand, and staggered. Draco was lying on the floor, his entire chest was slashed and bleeding. What kind of spell is this? Did Potter do this?! There was blood everywhere.
"Draco!" She fell to her knees in front of the guy. "What is it? Will he live? Is he going to be okay?"
"Don't shout, Miss Malfoy. It's all over," the professor got up from the floor and gently lifted the guy. He has healed his wounds, now there is only peace.
Hermione rushed to hug Malfoy, crying. She was so scared. What if she would have lost him?
"You need to go to the hospital wing. They'll give you both a sedative potion there. Most likely, he will be left overnight."
"I don't need..." Draco began, but his sister interrupted him, covering his mouth with her hand.
"We're going there right now!"
The argument was pointless. Draco knows, they've already passed. Madam Pomfrey, after talking with Severus, allocated a bed for Malfoy and brought a chair for Hermione. However, they were not satisfied with this arrangement, and the girl lay down next to Malfoy, spending about an hour with him.
It was already dark outside when she came to visit him again to make sure he had taken his evening dose of painkillers just in case. It is unknown if there was a punishment for Harry Potter or not. It is only known that he was not seen until the evening.
Hermione sat next to Draco and stroked his hand while he stared at the ceiling and thought.
Who can say where the road goes,
Where the day flows, only time.
And who can say if your love grows,
As your heart chose, only time is there around the corner. What fate has given us… Time knows about the measured time, only it..." she began to sing. Hermione didn't know what the song was or how she knew it, but the words were firmly imprinted in her head.
"A beautiful song ..." said Draco and turned to the girl, smiling.
"Yes, but I don't remember how I know her. Draco, tell me that everything will be fine soon?"
"It will be, it will definitely be. As long as I keep an eye on you, you're safe. Stay away from Potter and his gang."
"Why? I'm not small enough to be looked after anymore."
"You mean you're not a girl anymore?" Draco laughed, and Hermione slapped him on the forehead. "Yes, that's it. Calm down. And Mom doesn't need to be told that I'm here. She's already worried."

Spring. Evening. A girl and a boy were running along the hillside, almost completely overgrown with flowers, the view opened onto their estate and everything looked like a fairy tale, when suddenly she stopped and looked at a lonely apple tree.
"Draco, show me what you can do?" The girl smiled her charming smile.
"What is it exactly?"
"For example… See the apple? Make candy out of it."
"Okay, but only one."
Hermione clapped her hands in admiration when she saw a huge candy in front of her.
"Thank you, thank you," she kissed him on the cheek, which made Malfoy visibly embarrassed.
"Do you want me to sing to you?" the boy said unexpectedly to himself.
She sat down on the grass beside him and began to listen to his song.
Who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows, only time
And who can say if your love grows
As your heart chose, only time is there around the corner. What fate has given us… Time knows about the measured time, only it knows…
Who can say why your heart sighs
As your love flies, only time
And who can say why your heart cries
When your love lies, only time will be real. A feeling that was just born? The pain of love passing away, time heals, only it.
Who can say when the roads meet
That love might be in your heart
And who can say when the day sleeps
If the night keeps all your heart knows the time that somewhere, happiness will return the wings to us… Is it far from dawn if night lives in the heart…
"And you sing beautifully, you're lucky, Draco, you're already so big and you can do so many things."
"You will learn too, I promise," he put his little sister on his lap, and they began to watch the sunset.
"How beautiful, look there!"
"Yes, it's beautiful," for him now the main sun was her, the little girl sitting on his lap.

It was already late. Hermione should have gone to Slytherin's living room, but she was sitting with Draco. Madam Pomfrey most likely fell asleep in her office, which means she did not check those who were lying in the general ward.
"Snape made an immutable vow that he would help me," Draco began. "Mother did her best with aunt Bella."
"what?" The girl stood up and looked at him. "It means if he doesn't help then…"
"He's going to die," Draco finished for her. "I can't pull it. The Dark Lord will be displeased. He can start threatening us all, blackmailing you in front of me. I'll do everything tomorrow."
"But the closet is not ready yet! The girl exclaimed. As much as she wanted to, she understood the gravity of the situation."
"He's ready. I checked in the morning, everything is working. I'll send an owl to Bellatrix tomorrow morning. Be ready, I'll come get you."
"Draco, I'm afraid," Hermione sobbed, and tears tingled unpleasantly in her nose.
The guy immediately stood up and hugged the girl.
"Everything will be fine. You're definitely not in any danger. Just be at the dungeons after lunch. I'll find you and we'll go home."
"good. Please be careful. If something happens to you, I can't stand it."
Malfoy silenced her with a kiss that Hermione didn't even think to interrupt. I don't care if her lips are salty from crying, they are the softest lips he has ever tasted. Yes, he upset her sometimes, but he always came to her. They felt safe with each other. Even now, the girl should already be in bed and sleeping soundly, and she's sitting here, calming him down.
He kissed her on the forehead, on the nose, several times on the cheeks and wiped away tears. "Tomorrow is a very difficult day."
After that, Hermione left.
