Learning potions (Draco & Severus
“Draco give your mummy a hug” Severus said to Draco
Little Draco walked across the small sitting room back to his mom hugging her legs tight before she picked him up. “Be good for him Dragon”
“Okay mummy” Draco responded quickly, cuddling back into her arms.
“Come on Draco, Mummy’s gotta go. You can help me with potions if you want!” Severus told Draco, Trying to pull him back into his arms so Narcissa could leave.
“Really! I get to help! Mummy I get to help with potions” Draco said trying to scramble to Severus a little too quickly.
“Dragon, remember to listen to Sev.” she said while walking to the floo.
“Come Draco lets get some potions started” Severus grinned as he grabbed items Draco couldn’t see so he could make a ‘potion’ for the 5 year old to make while also learning potion skills such as chopping.
“Sevvv… Come on! Why are you taking so long?” Draco whined
“Just grabbing a few things that we'll need Draco, you must be patient.” Severus responded in a fond tone
They walked down the steps to the potions room severus had in his basement Draco small hands gripping the handrail. By the time Draco made it all the way down, Severus had set everything he had down and was watching the small boy to make sure he was okay.
Draco walking over to severus looked at the stool that was almost at 3 ⁄ 4 of his height and back to severus. “Help please Sev”
As Sevurus spent the day helping Draco make his “potion” that was honestly just a bunch of fresh seasoning that the boy had cut, laughing as Draco was asking about everything else.
“Sev?” Narcissa quite voice said at the top of the steps
“We’re down here he’s asleep, tired himself out by asking about a million questions.” Snape respond just as quietly
