To Be Or Not To Be (Remus/Albus)
Albus saw Remus in the corridor of the school for the first time since he graduated and couldn't believe that man he had grown to become. His strong jawline and cheekbones, The scar over his piercing amber eyes as they met his brightened just enough to notice. Remus with his incredible hearing could hear how Albus’s heartbeat skyrocketed when their eyes met. He had always had a crush on the headmaster. As they got ready for the start of term He found Albus in his classroom more and more asking if there was anything he could do to relieve any of the pressure of it being his first year and always responding with just talking helps as the sound of Albus’s voice helped calm his nerves more than a calming potion ever could. Albus constantly wondered if Remus was just being kind and not voicing his true thoughts of wanting him to go away as he had alway been kind to a fault, never wanting anyone to feel left out as he had been as a child. As September 1st approached the more time he spent with Albus and the more he realized that he was falling in love with his headmaster. As the students arrived on the first he was panicking as he didnt know how to tell Albus or if he should just resign as it was incredibly unprofessional, he continued to panic through the sorting and dinner even after Albus put food on his plate noticing that he really hadn’t eaten anything. After dinner he got a note asking for him to come to the headmasters office as they had something to discuss. He walked past the upper class students as they were waiting for the 1st years to be shown around. As he got to the headmasters office he thought he was going to be kicked out and that somehow his condition made it so albus didn't want him to teach anymore but the door suddenly opened and Albus was sitting behind his desk looking up at remus as he walked in and sat down on a chair looking down at the floor. Albus stood up and closed the door, his head snapping towards him as he said the first words to him all day “I think I’m in love with you.”
