Kidnapping doesn't work or does it (Tom Riddle/Hermione)
Tom, using the Polyjuice potion to look like Harry, decided to come back to Hogwarts to take someone that Harry cares about to lure him out. He double checked that he had the Amortentia in his robes to give her once he found her and just as Draco had said she was in the library. He brought her a butterbeer with the Amortentia mixed in so hopefully she wouldn’t tell. She reminded “harry '' that they weren't supposed to have anything like that in the library so if he wanted to he could wait a few minutes as she was getting ready to head back up to the common room. As he waited outside he was going ove the plan again to get her alone so he can sneak her out and nobody would know well hopefully. Hermione emerged just a few minutes later, a bag across her shoulder weighed down with books as she asked him about the butterbeer and how he did on the Charms test. He didn’t answer as he waited for the potion to take effect and as soon as it did and her eyes became glassy he pulled her in an abandoned classroom and hit her with a stunner and cast a disillusionment charm on her so he could get her out. Once he was out of the school and back to his lair he waited for her to come out of it. As he waited he was reading, figuring it was a good way for him to be more approachable to her as she doesnt know who he is as he looks like his young self again. When she woke up he acted as though he was so very worried and that he saw someone carrying her out of the castle but he couldn't get back in seeing as he wasn't a student. She listened not fully understanding what was happening just being happy staring in his eyes as the love potion fully took over. She was fully at his mercy and it took very little persuasion from him for her to truly believe that they were in love, even after months he kept her under the potion as everyone was searching for her because she knew more about Harry Potter than anyone else. He had also grown to have a soft spot for her as he had not met someone who researched like he does in a very long time.
