Chapter 1
It was dark out, the light having been hidden by the clouds. A perfect night for someone to sneak out and leave their life behind.
Someone. Not just anyone, Harry Potter. He was tired of being treated like a maid, a worthless freak, a nobody. He was tired of being abused, mentally, physically and in other ways too. He was tired. Tired of it all. Tired of being the Boy-who-Lived, tired of being Harry Potter, tired of being the one who was supposed to face Voldemort, tired of being pitted against the dark lord. He was done. Done with it all. He didn't have to deal with it now. It was time to change.
Harry left his bedroom at Number 4, Private Drive. He walked through the house, not making a sound. He made his way through the house, carefully slitting the throats of those who had wronged him. The three occupants of Private Drive were dead, never to breathe again. All because Harry was done with it. He felt powerful for once in his life and he wouldn't give it up, not for anybody.
Gathering his things, the shrunken trunk and broom went straight into his pockets. Same with the shrunken owl cage. Harry glanced up at his owl. His first friend, who had stood by him for everything.
"It's time my dear. Why don't you show your form?"
Hedwig hooted, her wings expanded and they shimmered brightly. White fire took to her body and the owl then turned into a phoenix. A white phoenix. An Auroran Phoenix.
"You're beautiful, Hedwig. Would you mind taking me to Gringotts?"
Harry asked, quite used to the phoenix. She had usually reverted to her base form whenever he was alone, not wanting to be an owl for much longer than she needed to be.
"Thank you dear."
Harry smiled as white fire engulfed him, his phoenix sitting on his shoulder.
The wizard appeared in a side alley right by Gringotts, and held his arm out to his familiar. She morphed onto his arm, a tattoo of her form appearing above his wrist. Harry dropped his smile, appearing nonchalant enough that people wouldn't ask too many questions when he made his way to Gringotts.
Entering the bank, Harry kept up his nonchalant facade and waited for a teller to be open. It wasn't busy like it was in the afternoons, but the bank wasn't quite empty. There was at least one person at each open desk, but considering it was like 4 in the morning, there was only 3 desks open. Harry walked up to the teller who had called for the next person and greeted the goblin.
"Greetings Master Teller. I need to get an inheritance test, magical scan, and I need to speak with my account manager."
The goblin looked over their pointy nose down at him, considering Harry wasn't even average height for his age. "This way."
The teller hopped off their station and made sure the wizard was following them before leading Harry down a winding hallway. "Here."
Opening the door, there was another goblin waiting at the desk, seeming to be doing paperwork.
The teller nodded to the other goblin and spoke quickly in a grinding language. Harry made a note in his mind to try and learn whatever they're speaking in.
The goblin behind the desk turned to him after the teller left. "Sit, then put three drops of blood into this bowl, and 3 into the other bowl."
Harry complied, almost completely sure that these were the tests he asked for. He took the small knife handed to him and pricked his finger, allowing 3 drops of blood to drip into each bowl. The goblin behind the desk then waved his hand and two different parchments floated above the bowls. Harry grabbed them, then glanced at the first one.

Hadrian was fuming, how dare Dumbledore do all of that. He practically growled at the goblin behind the desk, who he still hadn't learned the name of. "Master Goblin, does Gringotts offer cleansings and healing."
The goblin glanced up from the parchment he was handed, knowing that the young wizard was very powerful. "Indeed we do..?"
Hadrian replied by handing the goblin his inheritance test too. "Lord Peverell. And I would like to request if we can make it so Harry Potter dies and Hadrian Peverell-Slytherin rises?"
The goblin's face turned into a toothy grin. "It would be Gringott's pleasure, Lord Peverell."
Hadrian nodded and followed the goblin out into different halls.
