Candy swamp

None of the occupants of honey dukes noticed a small rip of pale blue forming in the air. Gray squares floated in front of the rip growing and shrinking well red lighting sparked out. As the tiny bolts flew through the air the majority fizzled out of existence but a few found a new home as they struck a box of acid pops.

From the register Ambrosius watched out of the corner of his eye, blood boiling as young Ragatha was forced to smile as that horrible toad of a woman talked down to her. Oh how much he wanted to throw her out of his shop but he couldn't. He knew that if he did, that horrible woman would find a way to use it against Ragatha and her family. Ambrosius' attention was diverted when a young witch in the corner of the shop started coughing violently, getting out from behind the counter to help the poor girl. As Ambrosius got close he was hit by the unbelievably potent smell of lime and sourness. It was so bad it doubled him over with a coughing fit and it wasn't just him, other witches and wizards nearby began to cough as well. Grabbing his wand Ambrosius did his best to dispel the smell from the air. It took a few tries but he was finally able to concentrate enough to do so. Using a shaky hand to grip a shelf Ambrosius tried to get back on his feet well he took in lung fulls of clean air. Feeling a pair of hands helping him up, Ambrosius looked and saw Ragatha, her face etched with worry. “Are you alright what happened” Ambrosius with a smile on his face waved Ragatha off as he used his own strength to stand up “don't worry about an old timer like me dear I'm fine” this seemed to assuage her worries for a second before “ahem” the toad cleared her throat and in a sickly sweet voice. “I do believe it is quite rude to walk off when someone is talking to you. If this is the example you set for the boy then I'm frankly quite worried.” the thought to find the source of the coughing evaporated from Ambrosius mind as his anger became molten
