Is it a wonderfully horrible feeling, or is it a horribly wonderful feeling? This desire for you that runs deep in my bones. Through the marrow and into my soul. This happiness that fills my day at just the thought of you.

Is it fun to have this secret? To not be able to explain why I'm looking as if all of my wildest dreams just came true. To have to act like nothing is going on when my whole world has been flipped onto its side? Is it exhilarating to have to stop and catch my breath from just the thought of you, from just the thought of your skin touching mine, or locking eyes with you while face to face?

Is it possible to miss you when I've not yet had you? Is it wrong of me to feel betrayed by the universe for keeping you from me for so long? Am I wrong for then thanking it for bringing us together? Is it childish of me to think that our paths were meant to cross, that we were meant to meet and to collide like two stars that got too hot and too close?

Is it bad that I'm terrified? Of being so afraid that you'll break my heart and I'll have no one to cry to? Is this the feeling poets have when they write their greatest verses? Is it safe to want you in every way possible and feel like it still wouldn't be enough? And so, I ask, is it fair, to want you so completely?
