Harry woke to Ron's side of the bed empty and cold.
His midnight search found Ron at the kitchen table huddled over a cup of tea.
There was only one nightmare that would make Ron run instead of wake Harry, the locket telling Ron all the ways he wasn't good enough.
Harry came up behind Ron, wrapped his arms around him and placed his chin on Ron's shoulder. He pressed a soft kiss onto Ron's temple as he whispered, "You came back for us, you came back and pulled me from that lake. You have been saving me since we were eleven and I was thrown head first into the deep end of this world. You are enough *kiss* you are loved *kiss* you are mine and I am yours and that won't ever change. *kiss*'
