Chapter 4

The first day McGonagall handed two thirds of the school proclaimed, 'golden trio' their times tables and handed Wednesdays and Pugsley to them after asking for them from Snape and Flitwick. Hermione and Harry started looking though their schedules to see what classes they had together with the Addams kids. "You two have quite a few classes together," Hermione laughed.

"It would appear so," Wednesday smirked, "But Raven didn't you have Divination?" she asked remembering the conversation about the prophecy he had heard in his dream constantly since he was 11.

He nodded, "I did but the old bat is insane, I dropped it in favor of ancient runes this year with a little help from Professor McGonagall over the summer. Besides Luna is an oracle. I don't need to struggle with something I may not even possess when she's a far better seer and can do it on command," Luna walked into the great hall, her eyes flitted over to the Gryffindor table, and she made her way over.

Her eyes like pools of glowing quicksilver, "I was being referenced," she said gliding down into the empty seat next to Harry curling into his side like a clingy little sister, not that he cared. He gestured to Wednesday on his other side, as if it say, 'see.'

Ron scrambled into the great hall completely disheveled, "why didn't you tell me you were coming down!?" He snapped as he sat done next to Hermione who glared making him uncomfortable.

Harry shrugged, "didn't feel like it." He was more interested in trying to bite his toast with one arm around his girlfriend and the other holding his little sister. Ron looked to the small blonde girl oddly, he had never seen her before. She didn't look like much in fact she looked a little bubble headed. Her eyes snapped over to his and immediately fell into a glare. Thats when he felt it, magic and power bled though her stare, filling him with a chill, a chill that promised a painful existence if he continued to interfere. He shivered and looked at his food.

As classes started Harry gave Wednesday a quick kiss on the lips making the rest of the hall ripple out gasps of surprise, some sighs of disappointment, some 'awing' the couple. Harry made his way off to Herbology with the Hufflepuff's which was at the very best was uneventful.

Care of magical creatures was fun considering it was with the Slytherin's meaning Draco and Pansy would be there. Time for Harry, Neville, and Hermione to freak out Ron even more, "Oh look the crown prince and princess of Slytherin," he drawled rolling his eyes.

"Oh, The insufferable Gryffindor princes and princess." Pansy sneered, the four had a stare off with Ron glaring at Draco from besides Harry. Soon they dissolved into laughter, "I can't keep that face for much longer." Pansy giggled giving Hermione a hug. "We didn't get the chance to talk last night," Ron blinked and saw red.

"We didn't wanna give them more of a heart attack," Harry said jabbing his thumb at his stunned house mates.

Draco waved a hand in front of Dean's face, "Is he alright?"

Neville came out of the woodwork and nodded, "Dean will be fine, Ron on the other hand," they looked to the Weasley whose face was as red as his hair. Before Ron could reprimanded them though class started. The animals Hagrid had them work with, which he named Blasted ended skrewt's, were probably the sickest animal to ever exist, and not in a good way. "Wouldn't Wednesday get a kick out of these," Neville laughed.

"Oh, she definitely will," Hermione laughed, Harry giving a sinister smile.

"I already have a pet I'm working on for her, but she could definitely have fun with these."

"$Harry the boy issss looking at you weirdd again, May I bite him?$" Wisp hissed from her place around Harry's arm under his robes.

"$not yet Wissssp you will be allowed to play sssoon I promisssse$" he whispered to the viper in an effort to make sure Ron didn't hear him. She flicked her tongue out and sadly sulked back under his sleeve. She was violent at the best of times so he would have to let her out to play some time soon, she needed to kill somebody. Preferably someone related to their cause that would not be missed.

Harry looked to his sister whose eyes were glistening with want. Not for the creature specifically but for a familiar and animal that was all her own and an extension her herself. She Just had to wait a little longer, Harry was already working on acquiring her Christmas gift. It was a bit pricey, but she was his sister, the one person who stood by him when he had not one. It was worth it to spoil her.

"Pansy," The girl cocked her head to the side in acknowledgement but otherwise made no move to show she was listening. "Have you gotten in touch with your contact in Scandinavia yet?"

She looked up at Harry briefly while making mental notes of the creatures they were tending to, "Yeah she said to give her a few weeks, they're not just Illegal here you know. Shipping and obtaining one of the world's most dangerous creatures is gonna be hard, and expensive."

Harry waved a hand letting Pansy know the expense would not be an issue. Pansy couldn't help but smile at Harry, Hermione had such little joy in her life and Harry did everything in his power to let her know she was loved and that she mattered. He did it for all of them in fact. He would go through hell if it meant protecting the family he made.

Harry wanted them all to be happy and safe, no matter the cost. Whether that cost be money or his own blood, "in short she'll love you, more then she already does that is.

Weasley went on a rant while Harry was trying to eat his lunch. The greened eyed boy rubbed his forehead and eventually buried his head in the crook of his girlfriend's neck. He could feel the headmaster trying to push into his head only adding to the pain, "Harry clearly doesn't want to talk so if I were you, I would be quiet before I 'spill' doxy venom into your goblet," she growled.

Ron didn't believe a thing she said, he didn't see her as any more than a nuisance who wouldn't act up on her threats so without him noticing she tipped a bit into his pumpkin juice making him rush out of the hall. Pugsley, Hermione and Harry laughed hysterically. Her brother vanished the contents of the goblet and refilled it so there was no proof. The boy was gone for about 20 minutes before he reappeared at the table, "are you insane!" He yelled at her presumably coming back from the hospital wing.

"What seems to be the problem," Professor Snape, who was passing the table on the way back to his office, drawled standing over Ron.

"She tried to Poison me!" He shouted.

"That's a serious accusation Weasley," He raised an eyebrow looking over at the seemingly demented girl running her hands though their hair of the chosen one who stayed leaning against his girlfriend almost at peace.

Wednesday calmly turned to the Professor still running her hand though Harry's hair, "I can assure you Professor there is no poison in the goblet whatsoever, how about I prove it." She removed her hand of Harry's head who sighed annoyedly. She grabbed the goblet and took a long sip. They waited a moment, and no ill effects befell her not that they would even if the venom was still there.

Snape waved his wand over the goblet just for extra assurance and found nothing, "come with me Weasley we need to have a serious talk about these accusations especially against others from different houses." Ron grumbled under his breath and walked out with Snape casting a glare at the couples along the way.

"He's gone Mon Cher," but still Harry did not lift his head. "What's wrong my Raven?"

"The old man is trying to pry into my head," he said lowly, he was drained from keeping his Occlumency shields in place for the past 34 hours straight against such a strong Legilimens. Harry could say many horrid things about the old man and all of them would be found to be true, but even he had to admit that he was powerful. The boy was more unhinged than he had ever been especially with Wednesday encouraging his mental reconstruction and hiding his true self from the man was becoming exhausting, he wasn't sure how much longer he could keep playing Gryffindors golden boy.

Wednesday growled, she wished she could do something that wouldn't blow their cover. Soon, she reminded herself, all good things to those who wait. "We could lace his candies with Undetectable poison," Luna said walking up.

"No sister we don't know if he's needed yet," Hermione hissed under her breath. She pulled out what looked like average blue berries from her bag and tipped a few into her hand. "He could be valuable," she threw a berry into her mouth gazing off in thought.

Harry lifted his head looking extremely tired and worn, "Be that as it may these walls will collapse soon. I can't keep this up forever. I'm strong, not invincible."

His head would have fallen forward if not for Wednesday's well-placed hand she ran her nails down his face, leaving deep red trails, making him smile in content. "You can keep it up for a little while longer brother, you must," Hermione frowned, being with Wednesday and Pugsley had made them both careless, they got a tasted of freedom and wanted to run wild. They both longed to let their malign nature run free, to show this freak show exactly what they could do, but they couldn't, not yet. There was too much risk involved at the moment, they had to play the long game.
