Lies Uncovered
“What are mail wards?” Harry questions.
“They are wards that are set up on small children so that they don’t receive and open any cursed, spelled or hexed mail. Usually those are good things but your mail wards were specifically tailored to keep out all mail likely until you came of age and seeing as Lady Magick now considers you of age, the mail ward broke. Is that all questions you have about the inheritance test heir Potter?” Ragnok queries.
“Yes Master Goblin.” Harry nods.
“Good then we can move on to the paperwork, Lordship rings and Barony Necklace.”
#####
Harry’s POV
“Why do the titles come with Jewelery?” Harry asks.
“Lords/Ladies and Barons/Baronesses are prestigious titles that come with power, money and respect. As a result those who wanted to be elevated in life tricked, stole and murdered their way into getting what they wanted. So those with the power wanted to be safe, they wanted something they could carry around with them everywhere that would alert them to potions in food and drink, protect them from spells long enough for them to counterattack and keep there mind free of enemies. To do all of that they asked us the goblin race to create something to save them the constant back stabbing. And we did, for a price of course. We created the rings and necklaces with goblin metal and enchanted them until they could do everything asked.” Ragnok explains.
“I read somewhere that goblins don’t like wizards having goblin metal…” Harry says cautiously.
“And we don’t, when it has been stolen from us. Some even have the cheek to keep it within there vaults and we aren’t allowed to take it back as part of the last treaty we signed with wixen-kind.” Ragnok huffs.
“You’ve said that word before…wixen. What does that mean?” Harry inquires.
“You really are lacking in knowledge aren’t you.” Ragnok sighs.
“It’s not my fault I was raised by magic hating muggles who didn’t tell me I was a wizard.” Harry defends.
“But it is your fault that you have not educated yourself since learning about magic.” Ragnok retorts.
Harry slumps in his seat, he can’t argue with that. Why hasn’t he looked anything up? Harry makes a mental note to do so before focusing on Ragnok, not realising that the thought slipped away. Ragnok has pulled out several sheets of parchment and pushed it across the desk for Harry to read.
Harry looks at the top and reads ‘Emancipation Contract’. Harry reads the contract, all of it, front to back. Everything seems in order, he spots no loop holes. Harry look around to find something to sign with when Ragnok offers a black quill.
“It’s a blood quill heir Potter. They are used to sign binding contracts. They use the writers own blood as ink. It may sting slightly as you use it.” Ragnok warns.
Harry nods to make it clear he was listening before signing his name in his best writing possible, meaning slow and steady. His opposite hand tingles slightly as Harry writes but once he’s finished his signature the feeling ebbs away.
“Congratulations heir Potter, you are now an adult.” Ragnok says.
“So jewelery next?” Harry asks.
“Yes heir Potter, though I must warn you that they don’t always except everyone. Sometimes the person isn’t considered right for the title by Lady Magick herself. There have been many cases where a ring hasn’t excepted a wixen because they already have been tainted with another’s magic and they won’t be the best person to lead the family forwards.” Ragnok informs.
“Is there anyway to test that first before I put on the rings and necklace?” Harry inquires, although he doesn’t know why. He’s certain that he’s fine.
Who would want to put any spells on him anyway?
“Of course heir Potter, a very smart choice. A health test is always good to do.” Ragnok nods as he opens a different draw from last time a pulls out another blank sheet of Parchment and the dagger. “9 drops this time heir Potter.”
Harry sighs, he doesn’t know why he’s doing this. He’s healthy, maybe not the pinnacle of health but he’s fine and no one would want to put spells on him. Still Harry picks up the dagger and slices open the tip of his finger and allows 9 drops of blood to land on the parchment. This time Harry watches as the blood is absorbed into the parchment and lines upon lines to red writing appear and Harry’s stomach drops.

“Well then heir Potter, it looks to be a good thing you asked for a health test first otherwise I doubt the rings and necklace would have accepted you.” Ragnok states as he looks over the parchment.
“I don’t…I don’t understand why…” Harry trails off not sure what to say.
“And you likely won’t heir Potter until you’ve removed all those spells, charms, potions and blocks.” Ragnok informs.
“Is that…is that something I can have done here? Or do I need to go to St. Mungo’s?” Harry inquires.
“St. Mungo’s can’t help you with this heir Potter, the only thing that can are ritual cleansings and they can only be done by goblins in Britain nowadays. What with the ministry and Dumbledore banning everything and anything they consider dark whether it is or not.” Ragnok explains.
“I’m assuming that this ritual is going to cost me?” Harry asks.
“Yes, but you could pay for a ritual cleansing for every person in the UK, Wixen and Muggle and still have money left over. You are quite literally the richest man in Britain heir Potter.” Ragnok says.
“Am I able to have the cleansing now? How long have I been here? I need to be home before my relatives wakes up.” Harry worries.
“You can be healed now, heir potter. You’ve only been here for an hour. The cleansing ritual will take a few hours but we will get you home on time.” Ragnok promises.
Which is weird, Harry didn’t think Goblins gave promises to…wixen? Harry still isn’t completely sure what that word means, he’s going to find out but first healing.
The door to Ragnok’s office opens and Bill Weasley is now standing in the doorway.
“You called Master Goblin?” Bill says politely.
“Yes I need you to take heir Potter to the healer and have them do a ritual cleansing.” Ragnok instructs.
“Yes Master Goblin. Heir Potter if you’d follow me.” Bill turns and starts walking, causing Harry to stand up and quickly follow.
“Bill?” Harry calls out.
“Yes heir Potter.” Bill says.
“First please call me Harry or Hadrian considering thats apparently my actual name and I was just wondering why you’re here instead of in Egypt being a curse-breaker?” Harry inquires
“Of course Hadrian, I came back to England because of some…family troubles. Nothing to worry about I assure you but Percy indicated that some more adults around would be helpful and George and Fred agreed.” Bill answers.
“It’s great that you’d do that for you family.” Harry sighs.
“Your family too Hadrian.” Bill assures.
Harry smiles before remembering the love potion and the loyalty spells. The smile slips off his face.
“Hey, you’re family too Hadrian. More than some of my blood family are. I may have only met you once before but I want you to know that you’ve got me, Percy, Charlie, Fred and George on your side. And Dad.” Bill reassures.
Harry can’t help but notice that he said everyone but Molly, Ginny and Ron. It makes his chest feel warm and his stomach grow cold. Harry wants to thank the man but as soon as the thought appears it disappears again and Harry isn’t quite sure what they were talking about anymore.
Bill doesn’t seem to notice Harry’s confusion as he knocks and opens a door.
“Healer Valnak, this is heir Potter. He is here for a full cleansing ritual.” Bill informs.
The Goblin is looking down at parchment before they look up and stare at Harry.
“Yes I just received his health test from Ragnok, most troubling. I would like to run a diagnostic spell on you before the ritual heir Potter, just to make sure we have all possible information. First though, I’m going to need you to change into a Robe. Curse-breaker Weasley, get heir Potter a robe.” Healer Valnak orders.
Bill immediately goes to a cupboard and pulls out a long white robe before handing it to Harry.
“I’ll be waiting outside for you Hadrian.” Bill informs before walking out of the room and closing the door behind him.
Harry looks awkwardly between the robe in his hands and the…female? Goblin.
“Change heir Potter, no goblin cares about wixen sensibilities.” Valnak huffs.
Harry undresses quickly and puts the white robe on. It’s an open front robe leaving Harry to have to hold the front closed to protect his family jewels.
“Good, now heir Potter, lay in the middle of the ritual circle.” Valnak orders.
Harry looks at where the goblin is pointing and finds a circle with runes drawn on the floor that Harry is surprised he missed. He does as asked because the goblin is slightly more terrifying than the usual goblin is. Which is to say very.
“Heir Potter, I’m going to ask you to drink this dreamless sleep potion. It’s best for all those involved if you aren’t awake during the ritual.” Valnak states before passing the potion over.
“Didn’t you want to do a diagnostic spell first?” Harry asks timidly.
“Drink up heir Potter. I can do the spell whilst you sleep.” Valnak hurries him along.
Harry retrieves the potion and smells is, it smells correct and looks the correct colour and shade. Harry sighs before taking the potion. He manages to hand the vial back over to Valnak before promptly falling asleep.
#####
When Harry wakes he feels lighter, stronger and energized. He doesn’t remember the last time he felt like this…maybe after a quidditch game? Harry opens his eyes and looks around the room that he’s in. His eye sight is better, not perfect, there is a slight haze at the corners of objects but thats far better than the blur the objects were before.
“Good you awake. Get dressed heir Potter, I believe you have more to do and discuss with Ragnok before you need to leave.” Valnak orders once she notices he’s moving his head.
“May I know what exactly the ritual fixed?” Harry inquires carefully.
“Bones, skin, organs, eye sight. All the spells and charms and potions and blocks are gone, you should be finding your mind clearing over the next couple of days. Not everything is fixed one-hundred percent, magic is a lot of things but it isn’t a miracle worker and you heir Potter needed a miracle worker after all you’ve been through. The results of the diagnostic spell was several feet long. I’ve sent it to Ragnok to be saved and used in case of a trail against your guardians, magic and muggle.” Valnak informs.
“May not have been a miracle but it most certainly worked like one.” Harry states.
“Didn’t manage to touch the Horcrux though…we have another ritual for those but they take months to prepare for and we’ve never done the ritual on a living being. I wouldn’t suggest doing it either.” Valnak shakes their head.
“What is a horcrux?” Harry questions.
“I’m not surprised you haven’t heard of them. A Horcrux is a piece of someones soul attached/embedded into an object, or in this case living being, that keeps the spell caster from dying. They are however very dark magic and the more a wixen create, the more unstable they become. Yours is only 1% which suggests that whoever gave you yours likely made several before you.” Valnak explains.
“But who would…Voldemort…a piece of Voldemort’s soul is stuck in me?!” Harry yells, causing the healer to give him an unhappy look that takes the wind out of his sails.
“That would be my guess heir Potter. Now, clothes, before we force you to have the rest of your meeting with Ragnok naked.” The goblin threatens.
Harry wants to say that they wouldn’t. But he has this very strong feeling that they absolutely would and he’s far too anxious about a piece of his parents murderer being inside him to try anything. So he grabs his clothes and puts them back on.
“Take this to Ragnok, heir Potter.” Valnak says as she hands him a folded piece of parchment.
Harry takes the parchment and then heads to the door, when he opens it he finds Bill waiting on a chair just outside the door. Harry isn’t sure how long the healing took but he has the feeling it was longer than an hour, had Bill been waiting here for him for longer than an hour?
“All finished?” Bill asks.
“Yes, time to go back to Ragnok.” Harry answers.
Bill nods, gets up from his chair, transfigures it back into a tea cup before putting it in his bag. He then starts walking back the way they came and
Harry follows.
“Do I look different? I definitely feel different.” Harry asks as they walk.
“You haven't changed physically, other than the lack of glasses you look exactly the same.” Bill answers.
Right, harry had forgotten that he hadn’t put his glasses back on. He still needs glasses, Harry can tell, but hopefully ones with the right prescription but how is he supposed to get them now? All the shops in Diagon Alley are closed and he can’t let anyone know he left the Dursley’s.
Looks like he’s just going to have to keep wearing them whenever he’s around his family.
They arrive at Ragnok’s office and Bill knocks before opening the door.
“Goodbye Hadrian.” Bill says.
“Bye Bill.” Harry says back before entering Ragnok’s Office and closing the door.
“How do you feel heir Potter?” Ragnok inquires.
“Much better Master Goblin, I believe I’m ready for my lordship rings and Barony necklace now. Oh and this is from Valnak.” Harry states as he passes the folded piece of parchment over.
Ragnok open the parchment, reads it, nods and lights it aflame.
“Good, I had them collected while I waited. Take a seat and we shall start.” Ragnok instructs.
Harry takes his previous seat as he looks at the boxes laid out on the table. There are five of them, 4 small, 1 large.
“We’ll start with the heir-ship rings. Slytherin goes first and then Black. In order of superiority. Put them on your dominant hand, ring finger.” Ragnok explains.
Harry opens the box with a large snake carved into the wood. The ring inside is larger than he was expecting.
“I don’t think it will fit on my finger.” Harry says.
“The rings resize as needed.” Ragnok states.
Harry nods before pulling the ring out of the box. He places the ring on his ring finger on his right hand and watching as the ring seems to shudder before shrinking. He waits a second and then the ring glows, warmth spreading up his arm.
“Congratulations heir Slytherin.” Ragnok says.
Harry takes out the Black ring from his box. The box itself is plan this time but the ring, unlike the plain silver ring of Slytherin, has a carving of a crow on it’s surface or maybe a raven. The Black ring follows along the same pattern as the Slytherin ring with the addition of melding with the Slytherin Ring.
“Congratulations heir Black. The Black account manager wishes for you to relay a message to Lord Black that the Black are accounts aren’t never ending and he needs to come in at his earliest convenience no matter the circumstances.” Ragnok repeats his brethren’s message.
“Okay, I’m guessing Lordships next followed by Barony?” Harry guesses.
“Yes heir Potter.”
“I have a question. Why am I considered heir Potter without the heir-ship ring?” Harry inquires.
“You were supposed to receive it on your eleventh birthday, I was off with my wife at the time visiting her family, the goblin I left in charge who was overseeing The Potter-Peverell accounts has been dealt with. The wixen paying him to ignore your presence in the bank has not.” Ragnok growls.
“Dumbledore?” Harry guesses.
“You would be correct heir Potter.” Ragnok nods before sliding the Potter and Peverell rings closer to him.
That makes Harry unhappy. Why is Dumbledore so wrapped up in his life? Harry would bet all of his money that it was Dumbledore that put most of the charms, spells and blocks on him. It would make the most sense. Considering everything else Dumbledore has done…or hasn’t done in some cases.
“Does it matter which is first?” Harry asks as he looks between the two identical boxes.
“Technically it should be Peverell followed by Potter as Peverell is older to England but Potter is older overall so it doesn’t truly matter.” Ragnok doesn’t shrug but Harry is sure that he would be if he wasn’t in front of him.
“Do you know if there are any books on the history of these houses? And family magic?” Harry questions as he picks up one of the boxes and opens it to see a ring with a snake carved into it.
“I know that each family vault contains books on family history and family magic. Not all families have family magics but thats mostly because they’ve been becoming rarer and rarer throughout the years.” Ragnok informs.
Harry places the ring on his finger and watches as the snake carved into the ring seems to come to life and wriggle as the ring shrinks and melds together with the others. When it stops Harry is looking at a snake with the crow…raven? Perched next to it.
“Congratulations lord Potter.” Ragnok says causing Harry to startle.
“That was the Potter ring? But it had a snake on it.” Harry points out.
“Yes and the Potter’s were originally from India were snakes roam free and Parseltongue is prevalent.” Ragnok explains.
“Does that mean my father could talk to snakes?” Harry asks.
“I don’t know about your father. But your grandfather Charlus loved to speak with his pet snakes. It’s part of the reason Dorea Black’s parents allowed her to marry him despite his lighter leanings.” Ragnok says.
Harry can’t help but smile at that, he’s like his grandfather…maybe he should get a pet snake. Once he’s out of Hogwarts of course, he’d hate to listen to more rumours of him being the heir of Slytherin, even if it’s actually true now.
He takes the Peverell box and opens it to find a black ring, not silver like the rest of them and carved into it is a triangle a circle and a line slotted together.
“Do you know that the symbol means?” Harry inquires as he goes to put the ring on.
“I don’t know what the symbols means precisely but I do know of the story that seems to go with it.” Ragnok states.
“What story?” Harry questions.
“It’s in a collection of children’s story’s. The book is called ‘The Beedle and The Bard’ and its the story of the three brothers.” Ragnok informs before passing over the large box.
Harry opens it to find himself staring straight on at what looks to be a massive ruby set in a silver necklace.
“How much is this worth?” Harry asks, voice stretched.
“More than all your new vaults combined.” Ragnok answers.
“And how much is in all of my vaults?” Harry inquires quietly.
“125,732,975 Galleons in the vaults you can remove money from…which would make you a multibillionare in the muggle world.” Ragnok says.
Harry doesn’t squawk but he does make a noise like a dying whale. He doesn’t think he should be blamed for that though. He just went from an orphan with a trust vault to a multibillionare. He’s allowed to be dramatic.
“Please place the necklace on Lord Potter.” Ragnok prompts.
Harry puts on the necklace worth more than all the galleons in his vaults, which is ridiculous and the metal heats against skin as it vibrates before eventually settling down and glowing.
“Congratulations Baron Gryffindor. I feel that I should inform you that you can make both the rings and necklace invisible and it’s impossible for anyone other than you to remove them. I should also inform you that removing them for any reason whatsoever is a terrible idea and you should keep them on at all times. Now unfortunately there are still some things we need to get done before I let you get home.” Ragnok informs. “Let’s start with what title I should call you going forwards.”
“Lord Potter will be fine master goblin. Before we talk about anything else can I know if any of my properties are livable?” Harry questions.
“Of course Lord Potter, as you can see from your inheritance test most of your properties are in stasis. However most of them are also in another country or taken or a school. This leaves you with only two properties in England that are available to you. Potter Manor which is in disrepair and Peverell Castle.” Ragnok explains.
Harry takes a second to think about that. He wants to move out of the Dursley’s immediately which would mean moving into Peverell castle but he doesn’t really want to live in a massive castle by himself. He’d be awfully lonely. But Potter Manor is unlivable. Can Harry get the Potter Manor in a livable condition?
“Does Gringotts have a service that will clean up a property?” Harry asks.
“Yes Lord Potter for a fee of course. It will also cost extra to check on and update any wards the property may have.” Ragnok adds.
“I’d like that for the Potter Manor please. Is there a timetable for when something like this will be finished or does it depend on how damaged the property is?” Harry queries.
“There is no set timetable we can rush a project but I should let you know Lord Potter that during the first wizarding war when the dark lord was trying to find your family his death eaters routinely attacked Potter Manor. Never did they get in but they likely damaged the wards enough for damage to happen to the Manor itself. It may take months before the Manor is fixed.” Ragnok answers.
Harry takes that information in. Can he just live at Peverell castle until the Potter Manor is ready or school starts, which ever comes first? Oh school, Dumbledore. There’s no way that Dumbledore would let Harry move out of the Dursley’s whether he’s emancipated or not. At least not whilst its just Harry himself fighting Dumbledore. Harry needs to get some allies, maybe even friends.
Okay new plan, Harry will stay at the Dursley’s for the rest of the summer to not draw attention from Dumbledore and then he’ll find people with strong parents that can back Harry up. Everyone in school was so happy with Harry because he was winning the Triwizard Tournament and many people wanted to use his fame, what’s to say he can’t use them back?
“I won’t need the Manor up and running until next summer so as long as it’s fixed before then I’m happy.” Harry says.
“Goblins don’t dally Lord Potter, the manor will be fixed by yule.” Harry notes yule down in his head as something he needs to look into and the thought stays in the back of his mind for once not immediately slipping away. “Considering Dumbledore’s…interference in your life and the fact it involves your finances I feel that I should inform you that Dumbledore has had money leaving your trust Vault every six months.”
“How much and to whom?” Harry asks but already has a feeling that he knows.
“All in the amount of 10,000 Galleons to the Vaults of Albus Dumbledore, Molly Weasley, Petunia Dursley and an organisation called ‘The Order of The Phoenix’. We’ve been having to have the money to Petunia Dursley converted into Muggle pounds.” Ragnok informs.
“Every six months? When was the last transfer?” Harry inquires.
“Just at the beginning of Summer Holidays.” Ragnok answers with a grin on his face, the goblin can clearly see why Harry is asking.
“Ragnok, make sure that was their last payment. I want no more money being transfered to them ever again. Can Dumbledore be charged with theft as I never saw an ounce of that money?” Harry questions.
“Unfortunately no. But we can work on retrieving the total amount taken and any material objects removed from the vault.” Ragnok says.
Harry has to pause to think for a second, when would be the best time for them to all lose all of the money stolen from him…
“I want you to start working on that precisely when they are supposed to be getting their next payment.” I want them to panic, Harry thinks. “Is there anything else that Dumbledore had control of whilst I was a minor?”
“This isn’t really a banking issue Lord Potter so I wouldn’t normally talk on wixen politics but the Potter Peverell families do have 3 seats each on the Wizengamot that Dumbledore is currently using his guardian position to fill. I believe that right now the only reason he’s in the Wizengamot is because or your seats.” Ragnok informs.
“I thought he was the head…whatever it’s called, why would my seats be the only thing keeping him there?” Harry queries.
“I can’t talk much about the wixen world but at your earliest convenience I suggest you buy a newspaper, Lord Potter.” Ragnok side steps the question.
“Okay…do any of my other houses have Wizengamot seats?”
“As your the Baron of Gryffindor you have another four seats.” Ragnok states.
“I have ten seats total on the Wizengamot. And Dumbledore has been using six of them. Is there anyway to check on the things he’s voted for and against in the past?” Harry asks.
“Yes, I’d suggest a lawyer to help with that though. The Potter’s have a firm they’ve used to generations. Five I believe. I can give you the name so you may send an owl.” Ragnok offers.
“Thank you. Is there anyway to get Dumbledore off my seats without taking them myself…it’s OWL’s year and I don’t want to fail.” Harry explains.
“Ask your lawyer to be your proxy…make sure they sign a contract first. If there is one thing I am hopefully going to teach you Lord Potter, it’s that contracts are always a must and should in all cases be written by goblins or trusted lawyers.” Ragnok says. “Now last thing and then we can send you back. Here are your vault statements.”
Ragnok hands a large stack of parchment over and Harry feels stuck, how is he supposed to hide this from the Dursley’s?
“Master Goblin, the relatives I live with hate magic. They take all of my magical belongings and lock them up. I’m only able to sneak some out at the beginning of summer to do some of my homework. I won’t be able to take this with me to read.” Harry informs.
“That is something else you can talk to your lawyer for, neglect of a magical child is a massive crime in the wixen world. You should be able to get your relatives for it and get Dumbledore for line theft. Also a very serious crime. For now though you have several hours until sun rise and My wife isn’t expecting me home this evening, so read them now.” Ragnok instructs.
“Thank you Master Goblin.” Harry nods before looking down and taking in the sheer amount of parchment laid out in front of him. “Is there a way to separate these by vault?”
Ragnok doesn’t look up from the parchment in front of him, all he does is click his fingers and the large collection in front of Harry separates into 11 different piles. Harry grabs the first pile from his inheritance/donation vault and starts reading.
Harry Potter Inheritance/Donation Vault :
289,540 Galleons
Sweets :
Chocolate Frogs
Bertie and Bott’s every flavoured beans
Peppermint Toads
…
Furniture :
Wardrobe
Dresser
Sofa
Child’s bed
…
Clothes :
Robes
Child’s robes
Dragon Hide Boots
Dirty Nappy
…
Harry looks up at the last line he read. Why on earth would a dirty nappy be in a vault? That’s disgusting. And unsanitary.
“Master Goblin, this vault, the inheritance and donation one, what exactly was it for?” Harry inquires.
“It was made by Gringotts when people starting leaving money to you in their wills as they either had no family left because of the war or they felt like giving something back to their saviour. Some started leaving everything in their estate to you as they had no one left to give it too.” Ragnok informs.
“And their estate happened to include dirty nappies?” Harry asks.
“No Lord Potter, some wixen are just more disgusting than the rest of you.” Ragnok states.
“Can I ask Gringotts to go through the vault and remove anything unsanitary and disable any curses or hexes?” Harry questions.
“You can but it will be a high price for such a service. 9,000 galleons. Goblins hate being near wixen filth.” Ragnok snarls at the last word.
“Understandable. I’m willing to pay.” Harry agrees with the price, anyone dealing with excrement should be paid extra as far as Harry is concerned.
“Your vault will be looked through as soon as possible then Lord Potter.” Ragnok says.
Harry puts down the parchment in his hands before moving to the next set.
Lily Evans Personal Vault :
98,002 Galleons
Personal belongings :
Trunk with school books inside
Journals
Letter (to Hadrian Potter)
Harry takes a shaky breath before looking up at Ragnok.
“Am I able to go down to one of my vaults or is there an option for another Goblin to go to my vault and get what I’m after?” Harry asks.
“I haven’t given you the replacement key to your vaults yet Lord Potter. So neither option is currently available as Key’s are made of goblin metal and take time to forge. However, for a price, I am able to give you a bag that will be connected to your vaults so all you have to do is think of what you want from which vault and the bag will give it to you. You have to use your ring hand though Lord Potter or the bag will not work and may even become…angry. We don’t like thieves.” Ragnok explains.
“I’ll take one of those bags please.” Harry says, he wants that letter from his mother.
“Fantastic Lord Potter, the amount will be removed from your vaults when we take the amounts for everything else you’ve asked of us today. Including the portkey.” Ragnok adds.
“Including the portkey? But you were the ones that sent me it.” Harry points out.
“After you said that you wanted another way to visit us sooner. We found a way at your instructions.” Ragnok smiles, its all teeth and Harry should feel threatened but he doesn’t.
“Fair play.” Harry nods before moving on to the next set of parchment.
Potter Trust Vault :
300,827 Galleons
Invisibility Cloak (Removed)
Marauder’s Map (Removed)
Well then, Harry knows how Dumbledore got his invisibility cloak and how the twins got their hands on the map. Dumbledore…it keeps coming back to Dumbledore. Harry’s certain that if he were to think about it a lot of the things in his life would come back to that man. Maybe Harry should write a list?
“Here you go Lord Potter.” Ragnok says as he passes over a small brown leather bag with a draw string.
“Thank you Master goblin.” Harry considers getting his mothers letter out now but feels it would be best read in private, so he just places the bag on his lap.
James Potter Personal Vault :
743,020 Galleons
Dress Robes
Marauder’s Journals
Letter (To Hadrian Potter)
Okay he got a letter from both of his parents. The fact they felt they even needed to write him letters because of a war is horrid but Harry is so very glad that they did. He finally gets to see what his mum and dad were actually like. Even if it is just through parchment.
Potter Family Vault :
12,000,546 Galleons
Family Grimoire
Will (of James Potter)
Will (of Lily Potter)
Furniture :
Living Room set
Parlor Set
Dining Room Set
Fine China
…
Clothes :
Dress Robes
Robes
Suits
Dresses
Ball Gowns
…
Harry doesn’t read the whole list of Furniture and clothes. He’s certain that a lot of it must be old and he wonders if any of them are in good condition. The furniture currently in the Potter Manor is probably no longer good to use, he might as well check on the furniture in the vault at some point. Who knows it might be great.
Then Harry pauses as he realises what is eyes skimmed over. His parents wills are in the vault.
“Ragnok. You said that Dumbledore sealed my parents wills right?” Harry asks.
“Yes Lord Potter.” Ragnok nods.
“Well I just found where he sealed them…how do I unseal their wills?” harry inquires.
“Just pull them out of the bag and hand them to me.” Ragnok instructs.
Harry does as asked as he remembers Ragnok’s previous instructions and soon enough he’s pulling one crystal clear glass ball out of the bag. He hands it over before reaching in for the next one. Harry hands that one over too and looks at them both sat carefully on Ragnok’s desk.
“Can I listen to them now?” Harry asks.
“Sadly Lord Potter, wills don’t work that way. First a goblin, myself in this case, will listen to the wills and then write to everyone given something in the will, to come to Gringotts for a meeting and only once everyone is present will we be able to play the will.” Ragnok explains.
“When will the will reading happen?” Harry inquires.
“It will take some time Lord Potter, to find a day that will work for everyone.” Ragnok says.
