Iron Maiden 2-2
Toni's house appears. 'Malibu, California' appears on the screen. Toni appears in her lab. She claps her hands twice, music starts playing and all of her screens turn on as well as the lights. Se says to wake up because she's home and calls herself 'mommy.'
"Mommy?" Clint laughs
"It's what Pepper calls me in the bedroom." Toni smirks to Pepper's embarrassment and her children's horror
JARVIS welcomes her back and congratulates her on the opening ceremonies. He says that they were a success and so was her senate hearing.
"That's not the word I would use." Pepper says
JARVIS says its refreshing to see Toni in a video with her clothes on.
"I was young and needed the money." Toni defends herself
The video from the senate hearing appears on one of the screens. YOU is making a smoothie, but he just makes a mess. Toni scolds him and says that she'll dismantle him, soak his motherboard and turn him into a wine rack.
"You be nice to my robobrothers." Henry says, and Toni smirks at him "They know I'm joking."
YOU looks down. Toni pours a glass of green liquid and calls it gobbledygook, and asks how much of it she's supposed to drink.
"What is the gobbledygook made of?" Hermione asks
"Liquid Chlorophyll." Toni says
JARVIS says she has to drink 80 ounces a day to counteract the symptoms.
Toni says to check her palladium levels.
"Palladium? The arc reactor is the cause isn't it?" Bruce asks and Toni nods
Toni pricks her finger on the device from earlier. 'Blood toxicity: 24%' it reads. JARVIS reads off the data and says that the continuous use of the suit is accelerating the condition. Toni looks at screens that show the condition of her body. JARVIS says that another reactor core is depleted. Toni lifts her shirt and takes the arc reactor out. The palladium core gets ejected. Toni takes it out, the core is rusted.
"That doesn't look good." Lily says in worry
Toni says that the cores are running out fast.
JARVIS says that he's run simulations on every known element and that none of them are viable replacements for palladium.
Toni opens a box and takes out a new core, she puts it in the arc reactor and puts the arc reactor back in her chest. JARVIS says that she's running out of time and options and says that the device that's supposed to keep Toni alive is killing her. Toni looks into a mirror, dark lines cover her chest.
JARVIS tells Toni that Pepper and Henry are approaching and tells Toni that she should tell them about her condition. Toni drops her shirt from her mouth and mutes JARVIS.
Toni closes the box and all the screens switch to screen saver. Pepper puts in a code and enters the lab. Toni continues drinking her chlorophyll. She shakes her head and points at the door.
Pepper asks if its a joke. Toni finishes her drink as Pepper walks toward her and asks what she was thinking.
"What did you do?" Remus asks
"Uh..." Toni trails off, rubbing the back of her neck
Toni stands up and starts walking away and says that she's thinking that she's busy and that Pepper is angry. She asks her if she has the sniffles and says she doesn't want to get sick.
"Because you were dying at the time." Henry mutters
Pepper asks if she donated their modern art collection to the Boy scouts of America.
Toni's holograms pop up as she says this. Toni grabs a hologram and rolls it into a ball and tosses it into a hologram basket and says that she did because it is a worthwhile organization and says that it isn't their collection it's her collection then swipes some holograms away.
Pepper says she's entitled to say that its their collection because she spent more than 10 years curating it.
Toni says that it was a tax write off and that she needed it.
Pepper says that there are 8,011 things she needs to speak with her about.
Toni looks at Dummy and tells him to stop spacing out.
Pepper says that the Expo is a waste of time.
Toni tells her that she should wear a mask until she's feeling better.
"That was kind of rude." Henry says
Pepper says that that was rude.
Toni says that there isn't anything more important than the Expo and that its her main point of concern.
Pepper says that the Expo is her ego gone crazy.
"Yep." Henry nods and Toni sends him a fake outraged look "Who's side are you on?" she asks
"Pepper's." Henry says
Toni sees an Iron Maiden painting sitting on the floor and says its modern art and she's going to hang it up.
Pepper says that Stark is in disarray and asks if she understands.
Toni says that their stocks have never been higher.
Pepper says that that's from a managerial standpoint.
"God you two bicker like an old married couple." Sirius says in amusement
Toni says they can double back.
Pepper asks to let her give an example.
Toni asks to change subjects.
Henry meanwhile was on the other side of the room playing poker with DUMMY and YOU
"Are you playing poker with them?" Anastasia asks in amusement
"Yep. Would not recommend it. Those bastards like to cheat." Henry says
Toni speed walks over to the counter in the corner of the lab. Pepper tells her not to take down the Barnett Newman painting and hang up her Iron Maiden one.
Toni says she isn't and that she's just replacing it.
"You are taking it down though." Charles says
Toni gets up on the counter and takes down a picture and puts the Iron Maiden paining in its place. Pepper says that her point is that they awarded contracts to the wind farm people.
Toni says not to say wind farm because she's feeling gassy.
"Toni." Rhodey groans
Pepper adds another to the list and says that the workers are on payroll and that it was her idea.
Toni agrees.
Pepper says that she won't make a decision.
Toni says she doesn't care about the liberal agenda because its boring and tells Pepper to do it.
Pepper asks what she wants her to do.
Toni says that she should run the company.
Henry looks at her in disbelief, not noticing DUMMY sneakily grabbing his wallet and taking off
"So that's how you became CEO." Natasha says
Pepper says that that's what she's trying to do.
Toni says she needs her to run the company.
Pepper says she's not giving her the information she needs.
Toni says she needs her to stop trying and actually do it.
Henry meanwhile had noticed he'd been mugged and was fighting both DUMMY and YOU for the wallet
"I like how you two are just ignoring Henry fighting the robots back there." James says
"It happens so much that you just tune it out after awhile." Pepper says
Toni says Pepper isn't listening to her.
Pepper says Toni isn't listening to her.
"It's like when we fight with our kids." Spider-Woman speaks up
Toni says she's trying to make her CEO and asks why she won't let her.
"Because I didn't know that was what you were trying to do." Pepper says
Pepper asks if she's been drinking.
Toni says she's been drinking chlorophyll.
Toni appoints her chairman and CEO of Stark Industries and that its effective immediately. She walks away to where YOU is holding champagne and says she's actually given it some thought whether or not she believes it. Henry let out a yell of victory as he managed to get the wallet from Dummy. The robots pantsed him in retaliation
Henry's hands covered his face and he groans in embarrassment as the room roared with laughter
She says that she was trying to figure out who a worthy successor would be and then she says she realized that it was always Pepper. She pours 2 glasses or champagne and says she thought that there might be a legal issue but she is capable of appointing his successor. He hands her a glass and congratulates her.
Pepper says she doesn't know what to think.
Toni tells her not to think and tells her to drink.
"Why not Henry?" Lily asks
"Henry wasn't interested in running the company." Toni says
Back in Russia a man hands Ivan something. Ivan opens it and its a fake ID, Passport and train ticket.
"He's gonna come for you." Harry says
Pepper walks into a room, Happy and Toni are Boxing. Pepper says that the notary's there and asks Toni to sign the transfer papers.
Toni says she's on Happy time and punches Happy a few times.
Happy goes to punch her back, Toni swipes his hand down and punches him in the face and apologizes.
Happy asks what that was.
Toni says that it was mixed martial arts and it's been around for 3 weeks.
Happy says it was dirty boxing and that there wasn't anything new about it.
"Most fighting isn't clean." Anastasia says
"You never fight clean." Henry mutters. He had sparred against her in between missions and during the airport fight. She liked to fight dirty
Natasha walks into the room with Nikolai and Anastasia following her, Happy and Toni turn to look at her. Pepper says she promises that this is the only time she'll ask her to sign over the company.
Natasha walks over to her and tells her to initial the boxes.
Happy hits Toni on the head and tells him not to take her eyes off the opponent. Toni kicks him across the ring.
Laughter rings out through the hall
Happy say's he's done and takes off his equipment.
"Poor Happy." Henry says
Toni picks up her water bottle and asks Natasha for her name. Natasha says her name is Natalie Rushman.
"I hope you don't mind that I brought the kids, couldn't find a babysitter." Natasha says, while Nikolai and Anastasia wrinkled their noses at the babysitter part. Natasha introduces them as Nathaniel and Ava. Toni says it's fine
Toni invites her into the ring.
Pepper tells her not to.
Natasha says it isn't a problem and and starts walking to the ring. Toni lifts the rope so she can get in, she enters.
Toni takes a drink from her water bottle and asks Happy to give Natasha a lesson.
She sits down next to Pepper and asks about Natasha. Pepper says that she is from legal and she's a potentially expensive sexual harassment lawsuit if she keeps ogling her.
Toni says she needs a new assistant.
"How does it feel you were checking out our aunt the entire time?" Harley asks Henry under his breath
"Fuck you Harley." Henry grumbles
"I never wanted to be reminded of that." Nikolai grumbles
"And I wanted my room moved away from yours so I didn't have to hear you and William going at it at three in the morning, we don't always get what we want" Henry says, making Nikolai blush
Pepper says she has 3 candidates lined up.
Toni says she doesn't have time and she needs a new assistant and she thinks it should be Natasha.
"What a coincidence I though the same." Natasha jokes
Pepper denies the request.
Happy asks Natasha if she's ever boxed.
Natasha says she has.
"Understatement." Clint mutters
Happy starts mocking her.
"He paid for that later." Anastasia says
Toni asks Natasha how to spell her name.
Natasha spells it out for her. Toni claps her still gloved hands and a keyboard appears on the table.
Pepper asks if she's googling her.
"Yep." Henry says
Toni says Natasha is and impressive woman and notices that she's fluent in French, Italian, Russian and Latin, she then asks Pepper who speaks Latin.
Pepper says that no one does and calls it a dead language before saying that you can read and write in Latin but you can't speak it.
She asks Pepper if she modeled in Tokyo because Natasha did.
"That was a fun time." Natasha says
Toni says that Natasha is everything she needs. Natasha is looking at them, listening in on their conversation.
Happy tells her not to take her eyes of the opponent and goes to punch her. Natasha takes his fist, twists it and flips over his head, knocking him down. Anastasia and Nikolai cheered her on as she did it
Toni is impressed, Pepper is worried. Happy says that he just slipped.
"Sure." Anastasia snorts
Toni hits a bell and says that it looked like a TKO.
Natasha gets out of the ring and says she needs Toni's impression.
Toni says that she has a quiet reserve and that she has an old soul.
"That's not what she meant." Henry says
Natasha says she meant she needed her fingerprint.
Toni puts her fingerprint on the paper. Pepper asks how they're doing.
Toni says that they're finishing up.
Natasha asks Toni if that will be all.
Natasha and her kids leave and Toni says she wants her.
Pepper tells her no.
'Monaco' appears on the screen.
"Oh god." Henry, Harley, Pepper, Natasha, Peter, Nikolai and Anastasia groan
Toni, Henry, Peter, Harley, Pepper and Happy all get out of a car and starts walking into a building. Toni says that whatever happens in the next 20 minutes to go with it because its Europe.
Pepper asks what she's going with.
"So naive." Toni says
Natasha and her kids walks up to them and Natasha asks how their flight was.
Toni says it was excellent and that its good to see them. A waiter walks up to them, Toni takes two drinks from him.
Natasha says that they have a photographer from ACM if they don't mind and she takes the drinks back.
"Why?" Toni asks
Pepper asks when that happened.
Toni says she made her do it.
"Did she?" Henry asks
Pepper asks what she made her do.
A photographer starts taking pictures, Toni tells her to smile, to stop acting constipated and not to flare her nostrils.
"Camera advice from Toni. What an honor." Pepper says sarcastically
Pepper says that Toni is predictable.
Toni says its an amazing thing.
The photographer walks away, Toni walks over to Natasha who tells them to follow her.
Toni says she looks fantastic.
"Thank god nothing ever happened between us." Toni says. She doesn't know what she'd do if she came here and learned she slept with her twin.
Natasha thanks her.
Toni says its unprofessional and asks about her schedule.
Natasha says she has a dinner at 9:30.
Toni says they'll be there at 11.
"You plan to be late?" James asks
They walk over to a table, Toni asks if its theirs.
Natasha says that it can be.
Toni tells her to make it theirs.
Pepper walks up to Elon Musk and asks how he is.
"You guys know Elon Musk?" Hermione asks
"We're close acquaintances." Toni says
"They slept together once." Henry says
"Henry!"
Elon congratulates her on her promotion.
Toni walks over and asks how Elon is doing and tells him that the merlin engines are fantastic.
Elon thanks her and says he has an idea for an electric jet.
Toni says they'll make it work and then asks Pepper if she wants a massage. They leave Elon alone.
Toni says she can have Natasha make an appointment.
Pepper says she doesn't want her to.
Toni says he doesn't want Pepper to be tense and says she didn't mean to spring all of this on her.
"Well..." Natasha says
Pepper thanks her.
Toni tells her that green isn't her color.
Justin's head pops out from behind a row of people and he greets Toni. Then he notices Henry and the twins and says they could call him Uncle Just "Даже когда Ад замерзает над тобой четырехглазым кунтом." Henry mutters and Justin laughs "You say the greatest things kid."
"What did you say?" Harry asks
"He said 'Not even when Hell freezes over you four eyed cunt.'" Nikolai says, earning laughter from the hall.
Toni tells Pepper that hammer is her least favorite person on Earth.
Hammer walks over to them and asks Toni how she's doing before saying that she isn't the only rich person there with a fancy car, he then introduces Christine and asks if they know each other. Christine comes into view.
"We all remember her." Harry says
Pepper, Toni and Christine all say that they know each other.
Hammer tells Christine that Pepper is the new CEO of Stark industries.
Christine says she knows and that her editor would kill her if she didn't get a quote for their powerful women issue, then asks if she can.
Hammer says that Christine is doing a spread on him for Vanity Fair and that he thought he should throw her a bone.
Pepper says that she did a spread on Toni last year.
Toni says that Christine also wrote a story.
Sirius snorts at that, earning a smack to the back of the head by Lily
Toni and Pepper says that the story was impressive and well done.
Christine thanks them.
Without Toni realizing, Bruce Wayne had walked up behind her. “I’m here,” he said softly.
Toni turned, surprise lighting up her face. “Bruce!”
At that moment, Henry, Peter, and Harley ran up, their faces lighting up with joy. “Dad!” they exclaimed in unison, rushing to greet Bruce and Dick.
Bruce knelt down, embracing his children. “Hey, you three,” he said, his voice filled with affection.
Dick grinned, ruffling Peter’s hair. “Good to see you guys.”
Pepper says that she's going to wash up, then she leaves.
Toni asks her not to leave her.
"Poor mom." Harley mocks
Hammer asks Toni how she's doing.
Toni says she's alright.
Another photographer comes into view. Christine tries to interview them, Hammer is talking to the photographer.
"Chaos at it's finest." Henry says
Christine asks if this is the first time that Hammer and Toni have seen each other since the Senate Hearing.
Toni comments about Hammer getting his contract revoked.
Hammer says its just on hold.
Toni asks for the difference between hold and canceled.
"You really don't like him." Lily says
Hammer asks her to put her device away and says that he's planning to present something at the Expo. Toni says he can get a slot once he invents something that works.
"Burn." Henry says
Natasha walks up to them and tells Toni that the table is ready. She and Toni start to leave.
Hammer says that he has a slot.
Toni tells Christine that Hammer needs a slot.
Hammer says that he and Toni joke.
Toni is in the bathroom, she does another blood test. 'Blood toxicity: 53%'.
"That's not good." Lily says in worry
She looks in the mirror and asks herself if she has anymore bad ideas.
"What are you going to do?" James asks
"Something stupid." Toni says
Toni is in a racing suit, a group of people following her. She jumps the fence to get onto the track. This is playing on TV behind Justin who's still talking to Christine. Hammer says that he loves Toni and Toni loves him, he says that they aren't competitors and that her being out of the picture created a lot of opportunities for Hammer Industries.
"This guy is annoying." Ginny says
He turns around to watch the TV and says that everything he and Toni do is healthy competition.
Toni, who's on TV, asks what the purpose of having a racecar is if she doesn't drive it.
Hammer asks if Toni's driving.
Pepper is sitting at a table with Henry and the twins watching this she calls for Natasha using the name Natalie and asks her what she knows about Toni driving.
Natasha says that its the first she's heard of it
"I caught you off guard?" Toni asks excitedly
"A little bit." Natasha says
Pepper says that it can't happen.
Natasha asks how she can help.
Pepper tells her to get Happy. Then Natasha tells Anastasia and Nikolai to stay with Henry and the twins. The Romanoff siblings smile at the Stark twins who just narrow their eyes and sip their juice boxes.
Dick walked over to Henry, a teasing glint in his eye. “So, Henry, still breaking girls’ hearts?”
Henry shrugged, a mischievous smile on his face. “Kind of. You still beating up the mentally unstable in the middle of the night in pixie shorts?”
Dick blushed, rubbing the back of his neck. “Kind of.”
Toni chuckled “That’s my boy,” she says
Steve Rogers leaned forward, curiosity piqued. “Henry, what did you mean by that question?”
Henry freezes before Arcane speaks up “They’re going to find out anyways.”
Henry sighs, shrugging at that “Well, Dick used to be Robin. And those pixie shorts were kind of his trademark.”
"Wait does that mean…?” Sam Wilson spoke up
“Yes, my ex is Batman.” Toni sighs, Bruce was going to kill them
The rest of the room sat in stunned silence at the news
“Wait then who is the current Robin?” Natasha asks
“My brother Jason.” Henry says
Justin is still talking to Christine, who doesn't look like she's paying much attention. Hammer tells her that he and Toni aren't competitive. Christine quickly takes her leave.
"Where is she going?" Lily asks
Toni starts revving her engine. The race starts. Ivan is shown, dressed like the rest of the pit crew, walking along side the track.
"Oh no." Remus says
It cuts back to the race, Pepper is watching it on the TV. Ivan walks onto the track,rips open his shirt and his arc reactor starts powering up.
"Oh shit!" Ginny yells
He powers up his weapon and it burns some of his shirt off. He slices part of a car in half, the car crashes.
Happy walks into the room holding a red case, Pepper runs to him and they get in a car.
Happy drives onto the race track, going in the opposite direction of all the cars.
"And I'm the one who's trying to get myself killed?" Toni asked.
Toni drives up to where Ivan is. Ivan slices part of the car off and the car flips he starts advancing toward Toni. Toni takes off her helmet. A few cars come up behind Ivan, they crash into one another.
Happy and Pepper are still driving Pepper says to give her the case.
Happy tells her to take it.
Pepper asks where the key is.
Happy says its in his pocket.
"This is not helping my anxiety." Lily says
Ivan slices another part of the car off, looking for Toni but she's not there.
"Where'd you go?" Remus asks
Toni comes up behind him and hits him on the head with a piece of metal. Ivan whacks her with one of his lightning strips a few times. Toni runs toward another car, but falls down. She notices the car is leaking gas so he stays there, waiting.
Ivan walks toward her, smacking his lightning ropes on the ground. He gets close, Toni quickly rolls away as Ivan hits the car and it explodes.
"That was smart." Flitwick says
Toni notices her sleeve is on fire, she beats it out. Happy drives up behind Ivan. Toni sees and jumps onto the fence, Happy hits Ivan with his car.
Toni hops down from the fence Happy asks if she's okay. Pepper is screaming in the background.
Toni says she is and asks Happy who he was aiming for.
Happy says he was trying to scare Ivan.
Pepper asks Toni is she's out of her mind.
"Yes." The Avengers say
Toni says they need better security.
Pepper tells her to get in the car.
Toni says she was attacked.
She says they need better security.
Happy tells him to get in the car.
Toni says that the lack of security measures is embarrassing and she walks behind the car to get in on the other side. Ivan cuts the door in half. Happy repeatedly slams into him. Toni says to hit him again. Pepper struggles to hand Toni the case.
"Chaos." someone says
Ivan starts hitting the car with his lightning whips. He slices a side of the car off. Pepper throws her the case and it is revealed to be a suit.
"So that's what it was." Hermione says
Toni suits up and kicks the car away. She tries to shoot at Ivan, but Ivan hits her. Toni shoots at him a few times. Ivan tangles his lightning whips on Toni's neck and arms, then throws her to the side using the whips as leverage. Toni starts to tangle herself in the whips and walks toward Ivan, punches him and uses the whips to throw him to the ground.
She walks over to him, and pulls the arc reactor out. Police start to lift Ivan and take him away. Ivan spits blood at her and tells Toni that she loses. Toni crushes the arc reactor.
"What does he mean by that?" Lily asks
Hammer is still watching this in TV, he smirks.
"Bastard." Henry growls
Toni is walking through a hallway, there are three men in suits with her, they're speaking French. He says that they ran his prints but they don't have a name.
Toni, In French, asks where they're going.
The man, in French, tells her and says that they don't know if Ivan speaks English because he hasn't spoken since he got there.
Toni says, in French, to give her 5 minutes, then she walks in and the door shuts. Ivan is sitting on a bench, in his skivvies. Toni starts walking over and says, in English, that Ivan had decent tech but the cycles per second were slow and that he could have doubled the rotations.
"What are you doing?" Alexander asks
She says that Ivan focused the repulsor energy through plasma channels and that it was effective but inefficient. He says its a passible knock-off and says that he could have made a solid paycheck with some fine tuning, and tells him he could have sold it.
"Stop giving him ideas." Henry groans
Toni sits down and says that it looks like Ivan has friends in low places.
Ivan says Toni comes from a family of thieves and butchers, and that she's trying to rewrite her history like all other guilty people. He tells Toni that she forgets all the lives that the Stark family destroyed.
Toni asks Ivan where he got the design.
Ivan says he got it from his father.
"Damn you Howard." Toni mutters
Toni says she's never heard of him.
Ivan says that his father is the only reason Toni's alive.
Toni says that the reason she's alive is because Ivan missed his shot.
Ivan says that if he can make god bleed, people will stop believing in him and that there will be blood in the water and sharks will come. He tells Toni that all he needs to do is sit back and watch the world consume her.
Toni says he'll be watching from a prison cell and tells Ivan she'll send him a bar of soap.
Ivan comments about palladium in the chest being a painful way to die.
"How did he know that?" Steve asks
Senator Stern is talking about Toni on TV. He says that Monaco proves that Toni doesn't know what she's doing and that she thinks the suit is a toy.
"No I don't." Toni says
Toni walks in with a plate in her hand.
Stern says that Toni was sure that the suits didn't exist anywhere else for 5 to 10 years and says that the world is realizing that they exist now.
Toni mutes the TV and says that Stern should be giving her a medal and sets the plate down and sits across from Pepper.
"He did eventually." Toni says smirking
Pepper asks what's on the plate. Toni takes the lid off the plate, it is revealed to be a burnt omelet.
"Henry made that didn't he?" Wanda asks and Toni nods, the entire Avenger team knew Henry couldn't cook
Pepper asks if Henry just made it.
Toni asks her where she thinks he's been for the last 3 hours.
"It took you three hours to make that?" Harry asks
"I don't want to talk about it." Henry says
“This is why Arsenal isn’t allowed in the kitchen.” Scarlet Witch says to the future Avengers amusement
Pepper asks Toni what she's not telling her.
"That she's dying." Pepper says
Toni says she doesn't want to go home and that they should cancel her birthday party.
She says that they're in Europe and that its a great place to be healthy.
"it's a great place to die." Pepper mutters
Pepper says that she doesn't think that now is the right time because they're in a mess.
Toni says that she thinks that now is the best time.
Pepper says that because she's CEO she needs to be there.
Toni says that she's entitled to a leave.
Toni says that they should take time to recharge their batteries and figure everything out.
Pepper says that not everyone runs on batteries.
Ivan is in his cell, a police officer brings him a tray of food. He gets up to grab it. There's a note on it that says 'enjoy the potatoes' Ivan picks up the potatoes and it is revealed to be a bomb. The police officer opens the cell and someone else walks in. Ivan notices that the numbers on their shirts are the same. '6219.'
"He's going to escape." James says
Ivan knocks the guy out. The police officer leaves a key for him.
"The cop is helping him?" Harry asks
Ivan sticks the bomb on the wall and unlocks the door. He starts walking down the hallway, the police officer tries to stop him. Ivan punches him and twists his neck. The bomb goes off behind him. Ivan runs down the stairs, he gets surrounded by police officers. One of them puts a sack on his head. They throw him in a van.
