Chapter 2
Remus woke the first thing he relised was how much pain he was in ,he felt like clawing his body out of his skin ,but then realised that was probably how he got in this mess in the first place .He then took in his surroundings ,phew he was in the sick bay ,he was safe and likely wouldn’t be in pain for long. Anxiety seemed to diside to greet him once more he started to wonder how long he had been asleep for he hoped it wasn’t long ,a day at most then his mind was taken up by worry’s for his friends wait what if one of them was injured ,what if it was Sirius, what if something happened to his pad foot ,while he was stupidly sleeping and why did ge care so much about Sirius ,yes he was his friend his best friend ,but this was something more something different .He had a best friend before, he has friends quite a few actually ,a lot more than he ever thought he would ,but they never make him feel like this he never feels protective and jealous as well as safe and protected the way he does with Sirius. Merlin please no ,he was in love with his idiotic, drop dead gorgeous best friend .that’s why he was always worried about Sirius always trying to impress him .Merlin it all made sense now he needed to know he was ok ,luckily Madame pomfrey was sauntering towards him in order to see if he had woken up yet ,he practically jumped at her ( which he only didn’t do due to the extreme amount of pain his body was currently under )asking if all his friends where ok ,she chuckled to herself for a second questioning how when a boy is under so much pain could he still be more concerned towards his friends ,who were not even injured .She calmly explained that they were all ok ,worried for him but ok .Immediately after saying they were worried Remus continued his spiral of worry and what if s,until Madame pomfrey calmly interrupted his thoughts ,and asked if she could examine him, see how long he would need till he could go back to class. Remus finally got the courage to ask the question that was eating him up in the back of his mind. Umm how long have I been asleep ,Remus crossed his fingers and prayed to anyone that she would say 1 day but instead said 1 week seeing his panic from her answer she took a deep breath and calmingly said ,Remus u where under a lot of pain even if u were awake there was no way you would have been able to go to lesson, and your friend James potter has been taking notes for all your lesson he has handed them to me they are quite descriptive I might add .Remus took a breath apart from the mass amount of pain he was under everything was ok .
An hour later Sirius James and Peter had been called to miss mgonicals office. Sirius was anxiously fidgeting with his hands ,he knew it had to be about Remus ,he was just scared to find out what was going on with him with his moony .what if it was getting worse ,what if he wasn’t going to get better .Sirius couldn’t lose him not when he had just found out his love for him ,James although stressed himself was giving Sirius supportive looks in a desperate hope to stop his spiralling ,of course it didn’t work perfectly it would have been a miracle if it had ,but Sirius became notable more calm from it ,it gave him reassurance that James was there his rock, his brother was there .Peter was acting a bit slower than them, he was as silent as a mouse quietly biting his nails and whispering to himself so softly no one quite understood what he was saying .
Eventually they had arrived at the professor’s office where James ( who was the only one brave enough) pushed the door open .the 3 boys immediately marvelled at the beauty of the office ,but quickly snapped their attention towards their profesor, who was waiting at her desk to greet them ,her voice was calm and reflected no need to Worry ,calming all the boys partly. boys I’m glad to see you have all arrived on time, now take a seat please .they did as they were asked ,to nervous to even think to start to argue .Sirius was practically shouting his question at mggonigal ,although he tried to hide ur the note of worry was evident in his voice. is Remus awake .Sirius prayed under his breath for her to say yes ,mggonical took a deep breath and calmly but with a note of seriousness that the boys knew was not to be messed with replied .that is actually why I have arranged this meeting ,yes mr black he is awake. the boys physically exhaled at this .as they felt parts of worry leave their body ,mggonigak then continued but he is still recovering so will not be in classes for a while, but he will be taking visitors she said eyeing them all ,but I would like to remind u he is still healing so please be mindful when u see him ,Sirius who had been listening intently asked politely this time, when can we see him. the other boys still silent ,worry still evident on their faces ,though lessened from this meeting. mggonigal smiled slightly and replied ,now ,if that is ok with u ,but remember be mindful also, he has missed u he asked after u nearly every second he has been awake ,you know. the boys immediately felt a serge of protectiveness and care for their friend ,who had been through so much, but yet was still so selfless .mggonocal continued, as soon as he woke up do u want to know his first question. The boys sat their intresed peaked for the answer, Sirius mind was racing and looked at mggongal and with a small voice asked for the answer ,with a severity to her voice this time as well as care she said he asked if u 3 we’re ok ,she stoped speaking for a second only to stand up and inform the boys they could see Remus now. Sirius mind and heart were going at a million miles an hour , and his head felt heavy with the many thoughts plaguing it, what would he say , did moony miss him as much as he missed him , but most of his mind was focused on the only thought that truly mattered he was gonna see moony, his moony was going to be ok.
