Dear Diary, today, I was able to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends. Except for Xavier and Anna, neither of them could attend because of James.

All my friends came early in the morning, and we went together to Char's beauty salon. We had a relaxing morning along with Cissy, Bella, and Dad. It seemed like Dad wanted to escape along with Lucy, Ro, and Ra, but Julius told him that if he had to stay, then Sev also had to stay, and well, Cissy didn't give him an option.

We had facials and hair treatments, painted our nails, and got massages. It was incredible! I almost fell asleep... Draco and Pansy were the most excited, Blaise seemed resigned as if he was used to going to such places frequently, Theo looked uncomfortable for some reason, Luna kept staring into space and asking many questions; it was adorable. Julius wanted everything used on him to be green, even the towels and the mirror frame..., and Vins and Greg tried the chocolate masks and ate the whole bowl when the specialists looked away. It was fun.

Then we returned home, and I decided we would make lunch together. We had made birthday cakes before, and they didn't turn out too bad, so I thought we could manage… I was wrong. It was a disaster, and somehow now there's a sticky green sauce on the kitchen ceiling and floor. Somehow someone also added glitter to the food, so it still sparkles even now, and not even the house-elves could completely remove it... But we had a lot of fun!

In the end, we decided to eat out at a Muggle Chinese restaurant, so we spent some time deciding what to wear, especially for my friends who hadn't traveled with us before. The best part was that since it was a Muggle place, the Reds could also come!

It seems their mother doesn't want them to associate with us because, according to her, it's our fault that her "innocent" children have been "contaminated with dark magic" and therefore ended up in Slytherin instead of Gryffindor like the rest of their family.

They were only allowed out because they told their parents they were going to see their friend Lee, who is a Gryffindor. It seems he's the only friend Molly Weasley allows them to communicate with since the red threats have gained a good reputation in the green and silver house.

It appears they dedicate themselves to pranking anyone who insults or bothers their house members, but they also torment any bully regardless of their house. Along with their kitsune, who have managed to grow a second tail in record time, they combine their skills in potions and enchantments with the illusions their familiars can create to turn every bully upside down.

They've even managed to befriend some ghosts to help with their pranks and some house-elves. They told me they're still working on getting Peeves, the castle poltergeist, to help them. They've achieved something of a truce with him, but the Reds say they won't give up until they have him fully on their side.

All the adults said they were very proud of them, and Dad said they had managed to surprise him in a good way and that he expected great things from them. This seemed to excite them a lot; I think it's the first time in almost a year that an adult has said something good about them. Their eyes were slightly wet after hearing so much praise.

I'm a little worried about my favourite twins. It seems they have several friends among the students, but no professor is on their side, not even their head of house and potions professor seems interested in them! And they're geniuses in potions! Dad said so!

Anyway, the food was delicious, and we had a great time together. Maybe we made a lot of noise, and Kasai and Kaji kept making small illusions to prank everyone and some Muggles; it was fun. Celty and Kunapza decided to spend the time wrapped around my neck and Julius’s, respectively, scaring more than one diner and waiter who passed by.

Fortunately, Dad put a glamour on Kunapza to make him look like a normal snake, and somehow he had obtained permits and papers saying they were trained snakes, but something tells me those papers aren't entirely legal. I have no proof, but no doubts either.

After the meal, which was a bit late because of the kitchen disaster, currently categorized as the Green Slime Incident, we returned home, where Limy managed to rescue some ingredients to make a cake. Somehow, there was no chocolate left, but several carrots survived, so he made a carrot cake with a sauce called homemade milk caramel and butter frosting. It was delicious; I think this is going to be one of my favourite desserts! Second only to the very delicious treacle tart, of course!

From there, most of my friends went home, and it was just Draco, Mir, Luna, Julius, and me. We spent time categorizing my gifts and reviewing all my letters. I received several from my penpals! Even some small gifts!

I don't know why, but most of them gave me pink things. I mean, I love pink and purple, especially the pink!, but I hadn't realized that most of my wardrobe has something pink, even if it's minimal! Well, it's a great colour, so I don't mind much, but I didn't know I was being so obvious with my colour preferences.

Well... long day, but it was very nice!

Goodbye, diary. I have to write several thank-you letters to my friends around the world.
