Dear diary, yesterday was Luna's birthday! We are currently in Turkey, the country is great, we visited the Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace. We also tried the muggle method of hot air ballooning over Cappadocia and traveled by camel.

The best part so far was camping in Cappadocia, in the magical area, for my friend's birthday. We went on our own and set up a tent muggle-style, the most magical part was at night. We were sitting around a campfire when suddenly we heard a murmur. Luna stood up and started singing, walking towards a nearby forest. My dad got worried and tried to stop her, but she seemed to be in a trance, not listening to us. When we tried to physically restrain her from continuing into the forest, a kind of blue magical dome surrounded her.

We followed Luna through the forest until we reached a clearing. I hadn't noticed, but music had started playing at some point. Suddenly, humanoid creatures started appearing from the other side of the clearing. My dad whispered that they were fairies, elder elves, nymphs, and small colorful creatures whose shapes I couldn't define but somehow their sounds reminded me of my green book of magical creatures written by Luna's mum.

Apparently, these creatures never showed themselves to humans, let alone let them enter their territory because we could contaminate the purity of nature's magic. They started surrounding us until a fairy with a crown of blue flowers approached Luna and started speaking to her in a language I didn't know. Luna seemed to understand because she responded in the same sounds, sounding like running water and gusts of wind at times.

After a while, the fairy took a flower from her crown, said something, and a light surrounded the blue flower, turning it into a kind of oval stone. A nymph with red hair removed a couple of hairs, seemed to braid them, and suddenly had a kind of red chain. She gave it to an elf, who took small stones from the ground and threaded them onto the chain. Then she gave it to the fairy who hung the small blue stone on the red chain and put it around Luna's neck.

Once Luna had the necklace, everyone around us started singing and small lights surrounded us all, but especially the blonde. Finally, the fairy looked at us and spoke to us in our language. At least now we understood her, but she still had a particular sound. She told us she was the queen of the Capciamis area, a territory slightly larger than the Turkey we knew. She told us they had felt our arrival and the return of one of the daughters of the forest. It seems Luna descends from a fairy and her blood had responded to the call of the forest's children. Cirnimides, the fairy queen, told us they had been watching us since we entered their territory and had seen purity in our intentions, that's why they let us all approach, not just Luna.

They had also decided to give a symbol of familiarity in the form of that blue and red collar with yellow and green stones, so that Luna would always be protected, in constant contact with nature and her fairy side, and it was a way to welcome her to the colony.

When we realized it, relaxing music started playing and the next thing we knew, we were back in the tent and there was no forest nearby, it was amazing. We still have to explore the magical commercial district of Turkey. There I will buy another gift for Anna because I decided to give her a yellow and green stone I found near the tent when we woke up. It is the same as the stones in Luna's necklace and according to dad, it has magical properties.

Today we decided that next month we will return to America but this time to visit Mexico and Latin America, it will probably take us more than a month to see everything. I want to see more magical animals!

That's all for today,

Goodbye.
