NOTE: the characters are allocated to their teams very randomly and in no way based on my like/dislike of *certain* drivers. i'm a ferrari girl through and through, but (sorry) james and sirius just gave me strong rbr vibes and you do not fight with vibes. mercedes are the bad guys only bc i needed bad guys. also, even though i borrowed some data/ideas from actual drivers, there is no equivalence in my mind (sirius is NOT checo bffr)disclaimer: there is some limited and probably incorrect technical terminology. i tried to write everything as close to reality as possible, but please don't judge me for my mechanics knowledge (or lack thereof)
