Return of Harmony Part 2
[On with the story]
Discord: [Still Laughing]
Pinkie Pie: And what are you laughing at?!
Discord: Oh, you ponies are just the most fun I've had in eons.
Pinkie Pie: Well, quit it! You'd better think before you laugh at the Pink...ie Pie!
Fluttershy: Oh, yeah? Well ha, ha.
Pinkie Pie: [Covering her ears] Quit it!
Fluttershy: No. Ha, ha.
Pinkie Pie: Quit it!
Fluttershy: No. Ha ha-ha ha ha.
Applejack: Uh... Rarity? This here diamond of yours? Twilight said we should split it seven ways since we, uh, found it together.
Rarity: HI-YAH! Try it, punk. He's mine. All mine! Ya! Ya! Ya! [Starts trying to karate kick Applejack]
Twilight Sparkle: Girls, why are you all acting like this?
Pinkie Pie: Quit it! Stop it!
Twilight Sparkle: We need to stick together.
Fluttershy: Ha, ha.
AppleLily: [Yawns] Just let them be, they deserve it after the horrible nightmare night that ensued last year. [Lays down in the dirt]
Discord: [laughing] It's just too entertaining.
Twilight Sparkle: Stop it, Discord. You're not playing fair.
Discord: I'm not playing fair? Perhaps we haven't met. I'm Discord, spirit of chaos and disharmony. Hello?
Twilight Sparkle: How are we supposed to find the Elements of Harmony when you took away the labyrinth before we could get to the end?
Discord: Oh, wait, did you...? [laughs] How funny! You thought the Elements were in the labyrinth?
[He then teleports the unicorn mare back to earlier that morning, when he had told the seven girls and princess the riddle]
Flashback Discord: Twists and turns are my master plan. Then find the Elements back where you began.
[He teleports back to their present timeline]
Discord: I never said they were in the labyrinth.
Twilight Sparkle: But... but...
Discord: Keep trying, Twilight Sparkle. Maybe the magic of friendship can help you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some chaos to wreak.
[As soon as he leaves the cotton candy clouds return, spreading their chocolatey filled rain everywhere]
Pinkie Pie: Chocolate milk? I hate chocolate milk!
Twilight Sparkle: [groans] Think, Twilight, think! "Find the Elements back where you began." Back where you began...
[In the background the girls are once again fighting, which was caused by Applejack jumping on Rarity's boulder]
Rarity: Don't touch my gem!
Fluttershy: I'm touching your gem, Rarity. Ha, ha.
Pinkie Pie: What 'chu laughin' at?
AppleLily: Why are y'all always the reason I don't get sleep?
Twilight Sparkle: Ugh. I just want to go home... Wait a minute... Home! "Back where you began!" The Elements must be in...
[Transition to the girls' home which seems to have been turned upside down]
Twilight Sparkle: ...Ponyville! Come on, girls. I'm certain this is what Discord's riddle really meant. If we get back to the library, I have a book that I just know can give us a clue. Ah!
[Suddenly the overgrown bunnies return, trampling over Twilight]
Fluttershy: Good boy, Angel. Mama's so proud.
[The sun then sets casting Equestria in a dark shadow]
Applejack: Wow, I can see so much better now. Whoa! [She starts sliding on the road, colliding with all the ponies except Twilight] I meant to do that.
[The sun then rises once more]
Twilight Sparkle: Wah! Ahh! Whoa! Discord's turned our dirt roads into soap!
[Discord appears in a flash of light]
Discord: Beautiful, isn't it? This is the new and improved Ponyville, and these are only my first of changes.
[Pinkie then passes, by skating, but of course instead of her happy smile, it's replaced with a look of misery]
Pinkie Pie: This may look like fun, but it's not.
Twilight Sparkle: Ugh
Discord: Picture it. The chaos capital of the world.
[He picks up Twilight, but the moon then rises once again basking the land in total darkness]
Twilight Sparkle: I can't picture anything. It's too dark. [Discord drops her on her back with a splash]
Discord: Well, wait a few minutes and you'll see it in the beautiful light of day. Or not.[He disappears after having a little skating moment]
Twilight Sparkle: Ponyville, the chaos capital of the world? Not if I have anything to say about it.
Fluttershy: [Skating past her]Don't worry, you won't. [laughs]
[Twilight groans at her now cruel friend, some untold time later all 6 ponies arrive at the library]
Twilight Sparkle: [sighs] Okay, we're here. Everyone please, please, please just go inside, please?
Applejack: I absolutely refuse. [Becomes completly gray]
Fluttershy: With pleasure. [Tramples some flowers outside the library before turning completly gray]
Pinkie Pie: I hate libraries! [She also turns gray]
AppleLily: "If Rainbow Crash makes another 'Sonic Rainboom bookshelves incident' again I'm so out." [She takes on the same hue as her sister moments before]
[Twilight groans at the four mares that just entered the library then turns to the fifth stuggling to get her 'diamond' into the tree shaped home with a few grunts.]
Twilight Sparkle: Pleeeease, we gotta hurry!
Rarity: [Hugging the rock] Forget it, Twilight. I know what you're up to. The second I go in, you'll have your little minion Spike come and take Tom!
Twilight Sparkle: Tom?
Rarity: Well, it's not going to work.
Twilight Sparkle: You're not going in without him, are you?
Rarity: Mm-mm.
Twilight Sparkle: [lifting the rock on her back with a grunt] Fine!
[Inside Golden Oaks Library]
[Spike is laying on the ground snoring with a mop and bucket in claw, when he gets drenched with water from said bucket]
Spike: Ah! Brrr! [Looks up at his aggressor] What did you do that for, Fluttershy?
Fluttershy: 'Cause you just looked so peaceful. [Laughs]
Spike: [Wringing out his tail] I, uh... Huh?
[Suddenly something crashes through the wall, that something was..... Tom.]
Rarity: Careful, Twilight! You'll ruin his beautiful finish.
Twilight Sparkle: Oh, for the love of...
Spike: Twilight, what's going on? Why does everybody look so... gray?
Twilight Sparkle: Don't ask. I need you to help me find something.
Fluttershy: Hey, Twilight, what's soaking wet and clueless?
Twilight Sparkle: Fluttershy, I've had just about enough—[She takes the newly filled bucket and floods Twilights body with water with a sploosh]
Fluttershy: Your face! [She slams the bucket on the unicorns face]
Spike: What's happened to everypony?
Applejack: I guess you just bring out the worst in us, Spike.
AppleLily: "Don't listen to her, she's just made that we perfected soap skating and she didn't, aye Miss knock everyone down in one felt swoop."
Twilight Sparkle: Ugh. No time to explain. We've got to find the reference guide to the Elements of Harmony before somepony does something she'll regret!
Spike: The Elements of Harmony? Oh, I know exactly where that book is.[He climbs the bookshelf and grabs the book from their first night in Ponyville] Found it![A scroll hits him in the snout and he drops the book]
Fluttershy: [Grabs the book] Hah!
Twilight Sparkle: Fluttershy, you'd better give me that book!
Fluttershy: Keep away! [She tosses the book which lands on Applejack's muzzle]
Twilight Sparkle: Hey! Applejack, give me that book!
Applejack: I don't have any book. [She tosses it to Pinkie]
Twilight Sparkle: Pinkie! [It's then bounced to AppleLily, who flicks it with her tail back to Fluttershy] You guys! Stop it right now!
[This goes back and forth until Spike jumps on Fluttershy's back stopping the strange and unfair game of Pony in the Middle, but as Twilight goes to grab the book, a suprising blue aura grabs it and the book flies to the owner of the aforementioned aura..... Rarity.]
Rarity: Mine!
Twilight Sparkle: Hey, do you even know what you just stole?
[They start to give chase]
Rarity: No, but if you want it, I want it!
Twilight Sparkle: GIVE ME THAT BOOK![she chases after the greedy unicorn, but Fluttershy grabs her and takes off, book in magic, this causes Twilight to slam into Tom] Where is she? Where's Rarity?
Applejack: Beats me.
Twilight Sparkle: Lies!
[She then tackles Applejack, and all 6 mares get into a brawl over the book, Twilight comes out victorious, book in hooves as Spike runs to protect her]
Twilight Sparkle: Get back! All of you! This is my book, and I'm going to READ IT! [As Spike fends off the corrupted elements, Twilight uses her magic to find.... THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY, she then gasps realizing they now have their biggest line of defense back] The Elements! They were here all along!
Spike: This is great! Now you guys can defeat Discord and put everything back to normal!
Twilight Sparkle: See, girls? We did it! We found the Elements of Harmony! Together!
[Applejack yawns at Twilights excitment] You don't even care, do you?
Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, AppleLily and Applejack: No.
Twilight Sparkle: [sigh] I never thought it would happen. My friends... have turned into complete jerks! [She then forces the Elements onto each of the girls' necks] Necklace, necklace, necklace, necklace, necklace, and... big crown thingy! Come on, everypony, let's go!
Spike: But Twilight, aren't you missing somepony?
Twilight Sparkle: Nope. We've got the liar, the spiteful, the grump, the hoarder, and the brute. That just about covers it.
Spike: But what about Rainbow Dash?
Twilight Sparkle: Congratulations, Spike, you're the new Rainbow Dash. [She Floats the element of Loyalty onto his neck] Now let's go!
Spike: [gasps] Me? B-b-but what if she finds out I've been impersonating her? [moan] That won't end well.
Twilight Sparkle: Too bad, you're Rainbow Dash. Now let's go defeat Discord so we don't ever have to talk to each other again!
Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, AppleLily and Applejack: Yeah! Woo-hoo!
[Rarity is trying to push Tom back to the outside]
Twilight Sparkle: Move! [She grabs Tom in her magic] Look out, here comes Tom![The rock makes another hole in the library almost hitting Applejack]
AppleLily: "You could've just took it out of the same hole ya ditz."
Discord: Well, well, well, I see you've found the Elements of Harmony. How terrifying!
[The corrupted elements look down in shame]
Twilight Sparkle: Discord! I've figured out your lame riddle. You're in for it now!
Discord: I certainly am. You've clearly out-dueled me, and now it's time to meet my fate. I'm prepared to be defeated now, ladies. [He forms a target on his mid body] Fire when ready.
Twilight Sparkle: Formation, now!
Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, AppleLily and Applejack: Eh.
Twilight Sparkle: "Rainbow Dash", get over here.
[Spike appears from behind Tom still adorning Rainbow Dash's Element of Harmony]
Twilight Sparkle: All right, let's get this over with. [All the Elements start glowing... except Loyalty, the Elements then flicker dropping the 6 mares on their backs] What's going on?
Applejack: Mine's workin'. [Pointing to Twilight] There must be somethin' wrong with yours.
Pinkie Pie: I HATE the Elements of Harmony!
Fluttershy: Hmph! [Tosses her element to the side] Garbage.
Rarity: [She grabs Fluttershy's necklace] MINE!
Spike: Sorry, Twilight. [He sets Rainbow's necklace on the ground] I guess I'd better get back upstairs and clean up the library. Good luck with all this— [Fluttershy puts her tail in front of Spikes Legs tripping him] whoa!
Fluttershy: Oops, sorry, Rainbow Crash. [chuckles]
AppleLily: I'm pretty sure the point of that joke is for the pony to have a rainbow somewhere on their body, Cruelshy.
Discord: Bravo, ponies, bravo! [As he slowly claps, his claw and paw makes random sounds] Harmony in Equestria is officially dead. Discord rules, Celestia drools. [laughs]
[Discord pokes Twilights nose and she growls at him, as he disappears]
Pinkie Pie: It's your fault it didn't work.
Twilight Sparkle: Who are you talking to?
Pinkie Pie: Any of you! ALL OF YOU! I'm outta here!
Applejack: I better go, too. I've got new better friends waiting for me at the farm.
AppleLily: [Through clenched teeth] What friends, you nasty liar.
Fluttershy: [Flying past Twilight] Yeah! I'm sick of you losers.
Twilight Sparkle: FINE! Leave! See if I care! I don't need you guys either! With friends like you, who needs... enemies...?
[She turns gray as a heart shaped tear falls from her face onto the ground, she starts walking through town past all the chaos with a cotton candy raincloud pouring on her head, when a certain Draconequus makes his presence known]
Discord: [laughing] Oh, my stomach! Twilight, you've got to see what I just did.
[He points to Berryshine who is being sprinkled with pepper, as she sneezes all of the buildings fall around her] It's priceless! [He teleports in front of her and scoops up the cloud thats been following her] Come now, Twilight Sparkle. You've got to get into the spirit of things! After all, this is your new home.
Twilight Sparkle: Not anymore...
Discord: YES! [He laughs triumphantly]
[Twilight then heads back to the library, closes the door and walks to her bedroom, where Spike is in his bed groaning out of pain]
Twilight Sparkle: Pack your things, Spike, we're leaving. [He groans again] Don't ask where we're going, 'cause I don't know yet. Just not here. [As she packs a few books, she throws the Element of Magic in the trash]
Spike: Can't... move... The princess... has been sending these... since I came back upstairs. [He points to a pile of letter, before belching, as another letter falls onto the pile of letters] Make it stop!
Twilight Sparkle: These are all the letters I've written to the princess since I've lived in Ponyville. But why would she send them back? [Spike belches out another letter while Twilight starts to read the ones already in the pile, she starts having memory flashes of each of the letters sent, and which lesson they were from] "Real friends don't care what your cover is." "Friendship is a wondrous and powerful thing." "And like the path cut through the orchard, there will always be a way through." "The best thing to do is stay true to yourself." "Everypony has a special magical connection with her friends. Maybe even before she's met them." [As she spoke she remembers each of the amazing memories that she shared with her 6 friends, and her color soon returned] Spike! Spike, it's all so clear! Can't you see? Discord's trying to distract us from what's important. He knows how powerful our friendships are, and he's trying to keep us from seeing it. [She pulls Spike close to her] Do you remember what I said the first day we arrived in Ponyville? I told you that the future of Equestria didn't rest on me making friends. But the opposite is true! [She sets Spike back on the bed slowly with her magic] The friendships I've made since I've been here are what saved Equestria from Nightmare Moon, and now they need to save it from Discord!
[Spike moans once more]
Twilight Sparkle: You're right, Spike. I've got to fight for my friendships. For them. For me. For Equestria! [She glows a bright shade of Magenta when Spike moans once again, reminding Twilight of his painful condition]
Twilight Sparkle: Oh, uh... why don't you just stay here and rest? I'll take care of the whole fighting for friendship thing myself.
[Spike moans once more before belching out another letter. Twilight then arives at what seems to be Sweet Apple Acres, only dark and grim, She spots Big Mac digging in the fields, and Granny Smith, Dancing? She then spots one of the two ponies shes been looking for at this location.... Applejack, who seemed to be eating an apple, but instead of biting off the apple her bite restored some of it, she was also talking to her Grandma about the events that transpired]
Applejack: And so I tried to defeat Discord, but none of my so-called "friends" or "sister" would lift a hoof to help me.
Twilight Sparkle: Applejack, I'm here to fight for our friendship. [Big Mac then makes his presence known, and licks Twilights face]
Applejack: Oh, now you want to fight. Where were you when I was battlin' Discord?
[She stands up on her hind hooves and sharts shadow boxing, before being tackled by Twilight]
Twilight Sparkle: Snap out of it. This isn't you! You're not a liar.
[Twilight then Casts a spell to show Applejack how hers and her friends' friendship was important, she remembered the events after her failed Applebucking season, when they hugged Twilight after realizing she would stay in Ponyville, Celebrating Winter being wrapped up on time, Twilight helping Applejack organize her Winter Wrap Up team. And running with Rainbow Dash during the Running of the Leaves. All of this returned Applejacks color and her sense of truth and lies. She gets up a tad bit dazed from the spell.]
Applejack: Wh-what happened? Twilight! [sigh] I saw a vision of us feudin' and fightin'. I couldn't face the truth, so I started tellin' lies. [She removes her hat] Can you ever forgive me?
Twilight Sparkle: I already have. Come on!
[In the fields of the farm, they managed to trap AppleLily and cast the spell, returning her colors]
AppleLily: I don't know what happened, one minute I was talking to a flower, and the next I couldn't help but to hold grudges for every little thing y'all did out of anger. I don't even know why I was angry.
[Twilight and Applejack look at each other knowingly.]
[They all then head to Fluttershy's Cottage, where the twins tie off her hooves and wings so that Twilight can cast the spell. Returning the shy mares nature and color.]
Fluttershy: Oh no! Twilight, Applejack, Lily, I just had the worst dream!
AppleLily: Been there, done that.
[After untying Fluttershy, they then head to Rarity's Boutique, where the said mare is protesting the safety of her 'diamond']
Rarity: What do you think you're doing? Get away from my gem! Get away—! [A flash of purple can be seen from outside of Rarity's home, next a colorful Rarity pushes the rock out of her workplace with a grunt] Let us never speak of this again.
[All 5 mares are then seen walking towards Rainbow Dash's Cloud mansion, Applejack pulling a wagon, with a very pink and giggly Pinkie inside]
Pinkie Pie: [laughing] And I-I turned gray! Can you believe it?!
[All the wingless mares are waiting on the ground under the blue Pegasi's home, waiting for Fluttershy to fly down with their missing friend, they see Fluttershy fly out of Rainbow's window, but their brash friend is nowhere in sight.]
Fluttershy: Uh? She's not here.
Twilight Sparkle: Without Rainbow Dash, we can't use the Elements.
Applejack: She could be anywhere by now! We're never gonna find her.
Pinkie Pie: Yeah, we will, 'cause she's right there!
[They see a familiar mane on top of a small cloud, well sort of familiar, all of her bright rainbow colors were stripped and grey, she seemed to be trying to sleep]
Twilight Sparkle: Rainbow Dash!
Rainbow Dash:[Waving to her friends] Hey, guys!
Twilight Sparkle: We've been looking everywhere for you!
Rainbow Dash: That's nice.
Twilight Sparkle: Discord's still on the loose! We need you to help us defeat him with your element, Loyalty!
Rainbow Dash: Pfft. [She turns around facing her 'friends'] Loyalty, schmoyalty! Have you guys seen Ponyville? It's a disaster! I'm staying here in Cloudsdale where everything's awesome. [She turns back around to resume her nap]
AppleLily: "You don't even live in Cloudsdale, your house is literally 50 feet to the south of the tiny cloud you're laying on at the moment!
Rarity: How in Equestria can she think that tiny patch of clouds is Cloudsdale?
Applejack: The same way he got you to think that cheap rock was a bona fide diamond.
Rarity: I thought we agreed never to speak of that again.
Twilight Sparkle: Time for plan B.
[Suddenly a hot air balloon flies past Rainbow Dash, who is snoring away on her cloud, in the basket is Twilight, Rarity and Pinkie, The Twins are on top, ropes in mouths, while Fluttershy is flying close by.]
Twilight Sparkle: [whispering] Okay, Fluttershy, you grab Rainbow Dash and hold her down. The twins will lower me down from this rope so I can cast the memory spell on her.
Fluttershy: Got it!
[Fluttershy then flies over to her fellow pegasus, who is still snoring away, Fluttershy then taps her shoulders waking the sleeping mare]
AppleLily: No, the whole point was not to wake her until we got Twilight to her.
Fluttershy: Um...I'm just wondering if it's okay if I hold you down against your will for a little bit?
Twilight Sparkle: [Facehooves] Ugh...
Rainbow Dash: Nice try! Ponyville's your problem, not mine.
[She then grabs her cloud and flies off, as if she's trying to protect it, Twilight then lowers a rope towards Fluttershy]
Twilight Sparkle: Come on, Fluttershy, we've got to catch her.[Fluttershy then takes it in her mouth and flies after the still grey pony] Hyah! [She takes a rope from the two ponies behind her, and looks up to the two mares up top] Applejack! Lily!
[She tosses a rope up to the twins, AppleLily ties it into a lasso, and Applejack tosses it around Dash's torso, who looks at it confused, but Rainbow wasn't the only one now connect to the rope, it wraps the other end around Rarity's and Pinkie's hooves sending them overboard and dragging Rainbow off her cloud, the pegasus had to double time her flapping, just to keep herself and the two non winged ponies airborn]
Rarity and Pinkie Pie: WHOA!
Rarity: PINKIE! You were supposed to secure the ROPE!
Pinkie Pie: Oops.
Applejack: Rarity, Pinkie, hold on! Y'all are slowing her down!
AppleLily: Dash flap faster!
Rainbow Dash: I don't listen to you, I will gladly drop them!
Applejack and AppleLily: NO!
Rarity: Oh, Fluttershy, would you be a dear and FLY FASTER, please?
Fluttershy: [Crying] I can't!
Twilight Sparkle: If you can't catch her, Discord wins!
Fluttershy: That big... dumb... MEANIE!
[She then starts flying faster and catches up to the corrupted mare. Twilight then tosses a rope to her Earth Pony friends on top of the balloon.]
Twilight Sparkle: Okay, girls, last rope! Make it count!
[The girls catch the rope, AppleLily makes a tight knot turning the rope into a lasso, Applejack then flails it through the air and it wraps around Rainbow, seeing that they now have the pony, Fluttershy goes to land the balloon, and Rainbow tries to escape, but with Pinkie and Rarity's added weight pulling her down from below, and the twins pulling the second rope, it was no use. They all managed to get the rope around her wings so she couldn't fly off anymore and the 5 mares grabbed onto one side of the rope, while Rainbow thrashed around trying to escape]
Rainbow Dash: Lemme go! I don't need you guys! Leave me alone! [Twilight approaches her friend, who huffs like a bull, and casts the memory spell, this returns all of Rainbow's memory's and colors, and leaves her dazed] Wh-what happened? [gasps] How's Ponyville? Where are the Elements?! [Knocks Applejack on her back, sending the Earth mares' hat flying] Did we stop Discord?
[The remaining mares hug their rambunctious friend and cheer, suddenly a group of ballerina buffalo's pass interrupting the heartfelt moment]
AppleLily: Seriously?
Twilight Sparkle: Maybe it's a little early for a group hug.
Discord: [laughs as a storm cloud offers him some chocolate milk, to which he pulles out a glass] Chaos is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
Twilight Sparkle: Not as wonderful as friendship.
[The seven friends reveal themselves to the villain all adoring their respective elements]
Discord: Oh, this again?[He drinks the glass and tosses the milk over his shoulder causing an explosion]
Applejack: That's right. You couldn't break apart our friendship for long.
Discord: [He grabs onto her element floating her into the air] Oh, Applejack. Don't lie to me. I'm the one who made you a liar. [He then grabs the other Elements except magic, hovering the 6 mares in the air] Will you ever learn?
[Twilight telports to her distressed friends and creates a magic bubble, breaking Discords spell on the Elements and setting the non winged ponies safely on the ground, while Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash hovered beside their friends]
Twilight Sparkle: I'll tell you what we've learned, Discord: we've learned that friendship isn't always easy, but there's no doubt it's worth fighting for!
Discord: Ugh, gag. Fine, go ahead. Try and use your little Elements. Friend me. Just make it quick. I'm missing some excellent chaos here.
Twilight Sparkle: All right, ladies, let's show him what friendship can do!
Pinkie Pie: Wait-wait-wait! [Shes once again drowning in chocolate milk, she then reaproaches her friends with a growl towards the draconequus]
[Twilight activates the Elements with her magic, which send a parade of magical zaps in the shape of the Elements towards their chaos driven foe]
Discord: Huh. What's this? [Their eyes than start glowing, and rhe elements give off a rainbow glow] No. Nooooo!
[The Elements then make a rainbow appear in casing Discord back into stone, the rainbow then returns Ponyville back to normal and the statue of the reimprisoned lord of chaos comes crashing down with a thud]
[In Celestia's throne room]
[The 7 girls trot into the room, where a crowd has formed to celebrate the girls' recent achievement, and Spike greets Twilight with a smile]
Princess Celestia: We are gathered here today to once again honor the heroism of these seven friends who stood up to the villain Discord and saved Equestria from eternal chaos.
[She reveals a glass window with the seven girls, adoring their Elements, fighting against Discord, showcasing their victory, the crowd cheers as the heros smile to them]
