Squid while you are ahead
Summary
Harry has a secret that he has shared with only Hermione, but someone else is about to find out...
Note
You all remember the episode on the pod called 'Harry Potter and the Giant Squid', a short fic centred around a conversation between Hermione and Harry in which he confesses about a time when a potions prank by Draco led to him spending some time in the lake as a Giant Squid, resulting in a bunch of green-eyed squidlets. A fic by IshtarsDream that was a set up for the inevitable concluding punchline: "What sport could they possibly play?" asked Hermione, curiously.Harry's eyes gleamed with the light that said she'd fallen into his trap. Squidding Around

To avoid further gossip Harry and Hermione tried to limit their shared visits to the jetty over the next few weeks, but whenever Hermione would catch up with Harry by the side of the lake they had a great time, playing with the squidlets and singing to them.

Harry was particularly good at singing and acting out Baby Squid to his offspring.

Baby Squid, doo, doo, doo…, Mama Squid, doo, doo, doo…, Papa Squid, doo, doo, doo…, Grandma Squid, doo, doo, doo…, and Grandpa Squid, doo, doo, doo… the possibilities were endless.

When, Hermione asked Harry on one of these visits what it had been like to meet the Giant Squid, Harry burst into a falsetto rendition of Perfect.

I found a love, for me
Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead

We were just squids when we fell in love

Hermione laughed.
'Seriously,' she said.
'I squid you not,' Harry retorted in a deep voice.
Hermione giggled.
