New Adventures
The summer days at the Burrow were filled with warmth and laughter. Harry and Ron relished the slower pace of life, finding joy in the simple pleasures of their everyday routine. One afternoon, while they were enjoying a picnic in the garden, Hermione arrived with a broad smile on her face and a letter in hand.
"Harry, Ron, I have some exciting news," Hermione announced, handing them the letter.
Ron took the letter and read it aloud, his eyes widening with surprise. "Dear Hermione, We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to join the International Confederation of Wizards as a representative of the British Ministry. Your expertise and dedication have not gone unnoticed. We look forward to your contributions. Sincerely, Amelia Bones, Chief Warlock."
Harry grinned, hugging Hermione tightly. "That's incredible, Hermione! Congratulations!"
Hermione beamed, her eyes shining with excitement. "Thank you! It's a huge honor, and I'll be traveling quite a bit, but I know it's the right decision."
Ron nodded, pride evident in his expression. "We're so proud of you, Hermione. You'll do great."
As they celebrated Hermione's achievement, Harry and Ron couldn't help but reflect on their own paths. They had come so far from their days at Hogwarts, each carving out a place for themselves in the wizarding world. That evening, as they sat by the fire, Harry turned to Ron with a contemplative look.
"Ron, I've been thinking a lot about what we want to do next," Harry said, his voice thoughtful. "We've talked about starting a family someday, but what if we also consider doing something more with our time?"
Ron raised an eyebrow, curious. "Like what?"
Harry smiled, a spark of excitement in his eyes. "I've always wanted to help young witches and wizards who might be struggling, like I did when I first came to Hogwarts. Maybe we could start a program or a foundation to support them."
Ron considered this, a slow smile spreading across his face. "I like that idea, Harry. We could really make a difference."
The next morning, they began brainstorming and planning, their enthusiasm growing with each idea they discussed. They envisioned a foundation that would provide mentorship, resources, and a safe space for young witches and wizards, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds. It would be a way to give back to the community that had supported them and to ensure that no child felt alone.
