The news of their engagement spread quickly among their friends and family. The Burrow buzzed with excitement as Molly Weasley immediately took charge of the wedding preparations. It was decided that the ceremony would take place in the garden, a place filled with warmth and memories for both Harry and Ron.
"Harry, dear, we need to pick a date," Molly said, bustling around the kitchen with a notebook in hand. "And there are so many details to consider—flowers, food, decorations..."
Harry smiled, feeling a mix of gratitude and amusement at Molly's enthusiasm. "We were thinking of having it in early summer, when the weather is nice and the garden is in full bloom."
Ron nodded in agreement. "Yeah, early June sounds perfect. Not too hot, and the garden will look amazing."
"June it is, then!" Molly exclaimed, jotting down the date. "We'll have to start on the invitations right away. Ginny, Hermione, and I can handle those."
As the days passed, the preparations fell into place. Harry and Ron spent their evenings discussing the details, from choosing their wedding attire to selecting the music for the ceremony. They wanted everything to reflect their personalities and the journey they had taken together.
One evening, as they sat in the living room going over the guest list, Harry turned to Ron with a thoughtful expression. "You know, Ron, I never imagined we'd end up here, planning our wedding. It's... surreal."
