*Regulus Reached the Garden of Demenour early*

Pov: Regulus.

"I didn't want to reach this early, if it weren't for my mother....tsk" said Regulus.

He then wandered around until he reached the tea table, or the place where they would have their "tea party date"

20 minutes.

He spent 20 minutes waiting for James.

He was still waiting until he looked around only to find James staring at him like he was looking at some kind of Greek sculpture or painting.

"Will you be kind enough to stop staring at me?" Asked Regulus.

" Of course. Of Course- Yeah. Mhm. So, uh? Shall we take a seat? "

> DURING THE DATE:

" Honestly, I expect this to go horribly wrong. " said Regulus.

" Nothing, I can't agree with" said James.

" So, Tell me about yourself, will you? I wanna try to get to know you. " asked James.

Regulus was honestly surprised, he never thought anyone would be interested in knowing about him, especially James.

" Sure...I like animals especially Cats, My favourite ones are black cats. "
Said Regulus.

" So you like cats...? Noted. I prefer Dogs, they are more loyal creatures." said James.

" Cats are far better than a dog who only knows how to wag their tail. "

" You act like cats are any better, all they know is to laze around the whole day"

" Did you know? Cats are much more smarter than dogs, which determines their worth"

"You know what? Cats and Dogs both are good in their own way."

" Yeah and I still prefer Cats over Dogs. "

" And I still prefer Dogs over Cats. "

And They both started laughing really badly.
No one was with them but if someone was there, they would freak out by the sound of their laughter.

They talked more.

Regulus was surprised. He never expected for James and Him to have so much fun. He thought it would be a horrible date with a whore. Correction, James. He realised that James is no whore, he's a fucking gentleman. Who deserves respect.

Regulus didn't think, he would ask THIS question...but he did anyways.

" So, Will you truly take me as your...Bride? " Asked Regulus. Finally.

As much as the question was a surprise to James, it was a surprise to Regulus too, Since he never thought HE would be the one asking THIS question to James.

" Will you? " Asked Regulus, Once more, since he got no answer. Regulus could feel the anxiety creeping up to him.

Something within him is telling him that James doesn't want him, Don't waste your love, don't.

Love? Love. Regulus tried to remove the thought to "Love" inside of him, he didn't think he would use "Love" for this...

James was taking a long time and was awfully quiet in a way that Regulus didn't enjoy at all.

He; Regulus felt the Question that was left hanging in the air grabbing onto his throat. Almost as he was being choked to death by his own question, his own hands.

" Potter...Will You? No- James, Will You? " Asked Regulus as if he was asking for the last and final time and if anything will not be said he would immediately understand it as a No.

Because Regulus knew it was the final time he was asking, he doesn't know what came over him but he did use Potter's first name- James. Something in him was aching, Aching to use this Name. To call him James. His James.

" Yes. Obviously. aren't you gonna be my bride soon? " James asked mischievously. With a smile, More like a Grin, That didn't reach his eyes. That could be seen by Regulus.

" Is there something, you wish to tell me? " asked Regulus.

" Hey- Regulus? Can we Spend some time together, these days...Since, You're gonna be my bride and all, I want to get to you. " Asked James.

" What? " Said Regulus. Regulus was surprised. He didn't expect James say that he would like spend time with HIM. Regulus Black.

" Oh- Uh- Yeah, Yeah sure, I'd like to get to know you too for sure! Haha " Regulus replied with eyes that seemed to contain what we call, Nervousness.

He couldn't contain himself, especially James Potter had asked him that, THAT James Potter. THAT James Potter, who is his brother's Bestfriend, his childhood crush, his Fiancé.

So, They take a stroll around the garden.

They talk some more and during that talk somehow the topic of the engagement day had been brought up.

" Hey, I know, I was being a Dick That Day, When our engagement was announced, it's just, I was not informed beforehand and I had to act- and I had to behave properly to not be a disgrace to my Family. " said Regulus.

Regulus himself doesn't know why he apologized or even thought about it in the first place, all he knows is that he did and that is all that matters. To him.

James was surprised.

Very Surprised.

It could be clearly seen on his face that he never thought, That, Regulus Black would Apologise to him, like this.

Regulus guessed that he also never thought that the apology would seem so real and valid.

" It's fine, I was not nice either to you. " said James.

"Thanks though, for hearing me out I mean"
said Regulus.

"Since, We're already talking about this kind of stuff then I guess you have to know."
Said James.

"To Know...What?" asked Regulus.

" To know that I like Lily Evans from the Evan Household " said James.

" Oh. " Replied Regulus.

Regulus didn't know what to do and how to answer, he didn't expect James to Confess to him, like this. Of course, Regulus knew that James liked Evans. James was his childhood crush, Regulus used to literally stalk him; which he does now too. Creepy but not really, the other reason he knows is because he was courting Lily publicly in front of everyone, of course he was rejected.

The reason remained unknown to this day for why Lily Evans rejected James Potter but Regulus has a hunch that it's because of Queen Mary but he chooses to ignore that since it's none of his business.

" I know it must be so disappointing but please bare with me, I'll, I'll try alright, I'll try to be in love with you, I'll learn to love you, No, I'll definitely love you! So just give me sometime okay- Nevermind like I'll start from today and now- " rambled on James.

Cute.

Regulus found James rambling very cute.

He always did, has and always will.

Of course he would never admit that-

and Regulus who was about to interfering this said

" I find your Rambling cute. "

Regulus was surprised. The reason he was surprised was by the fact he said it to James face. He lost his composure that he learned to maintain for years. He realised how much of a weakness of his, James is.

" What? Uh- Oh- I, wait What? Uhm, Thanks, Yeah Thank You! " said James while blushing on his dark brown skin. He tried to hide his blush by continuously touching his spectacles which just seem to make him more cute in Regulus's Eyes because he said...

"You look even more cuter when you do that"

it could be clearly seen by any person that Regulus liked pushing James's all buttons and Teasing him.

James went completely Red. He started stuttering.

" T-T-Thanks. " replied James.

To which Regulus had a soft laugh.

The Conversation continues with more interactions like this.

>AFTER A WHILE(POV: REGULUS.)

" It's getting quite late, Would you care to take my hand? " asked Regulus.

" Sure, I would love to! " replied James.

They walked past through the beautiful roseberry bushes of The Garden of Demenour.

The carriage was there.

James fell.

Yes,

James fell.

He slipped on his way back and fell.

Regulus Laughed.

Yes, Regulus Laughed.

" You...need...to....be careful- " and he continued laughing.

Regulus couldn't stop himself from laughing. He found it funny that James fell and he fell into a very odd manner, he was literally running forward with his fingers interwined with Regulus's. He was the Sun pulling his moon with him with the help of his gravitational force and he fell.

Regulus realized that James was just staring at his face again, like he was before as if Regulus was some kind of Greek sculpture or Fairy or Angel or whatever, he was looking at Regulus like he was some kind mythical been or Out of this world or extra ordinary creature, there are no right words to explain how Regulus looked in James eye whenever Regulus saw his reflection in his eyes.

It took some while for Regulus to calm down and he offered James a hand that James accepted of course.

" You look so pretty when you laugh..." said James.

" What?..." asked Regulus...cheeks flushed with a tomato red colour. He was embarassed by the compliment.

" You are Blushing, Love..." said James. Knowing he was reason Regulus was blushing. James has a mischievous grin on his face. This time, this grin on his face did in fact reach up to his eyes.

" Shut up, also, You have mud all over you! " exclaimed regulus. He was embarassed and didn't want to be defeated by James.

" I know that... I can see that, I fell my love, anyways would you mind Escorting me toy carriage, love? " asked James.

" You and Your stupid nickname, I still didn't give you permission to call me 'love' but whatever, call me whatever you want and sure I'll escort you, don't want my precious
Fiancé to be laughed at. " said Regulus.

The truth is Regulus loved that nickname, oh, the butterflies he had when James called him Love. He couldn't explain the smile he tried to hide. The glitter or sparkle in eyes that made his eyes light up with joy.

James didn't say anything but just smiled as if he knew Regulus enjoyed being called that and that made Regulus even more embarassed.

*While later*

James was climbing the carriage and Regulus sneaked up behind him and gave him a kiss and James was so surprised by this that he almost fell. Yes. He Almost Fell.

Regulus held him from behind to support him and make him avoid falling.

" Love, do that again sometime again, please. " said James before re - entering the carriage.

The door closed and the carriage was about to go.

" I will, when we get married, I'll do this a lot of time, Jamie. " said Regulus.

And the carriage departed with James having a smirk on his face and Regulus having flushed cheeks.

"It was truly a date to be remembered."
