James, Stood there frozen in shock. Hearing that he had been engaged...forget about Dating... Engaged?
Regulus Black, Who was also standing in the same room, stopped breathing for several seconds, after processing what he had just heard. He quickly plastered his smile back on, Acting as he knew that he was engaged to James, Which he did not knew about.
James, quickly rushed by his mother's side, Eumphonia Potter. "Ma, What is Dad talking about? What engagement? You know, I love Lily..."
She replies, " James, I know you might be surprised but me and your father have decided to engage you to Regulus as we want to have a good relationship with them, The Blacks; Business purposes. "
James, Just stood there is shock...What business? Is buisness more important to them than their goddamn son?
"You didn't even tell me about it!" exclaimed James.
"Even if, We told you about it, would you cooperate?" She said a bit angrily.
James, knowing very well he wouldn't, stayed quiet. Unable to say anything, The word's won't come out. They just won't. He had nothing to argue against. His mother was right, he wouldn't cooperate.
"May, I have this dance?" asked Regulus Black.
Which made James realise that he was still in the ballroom. The Party was still there.
" Yes, Of course..." said James.

When they were Dancing,
" Did you know about this? " Asked James.
" Whatever you maybe talking about. " replied Regulus.
" Did YOU know ABOUT THIS? THE ENGAGEMENT." said James, Angrily.
Everyone looking at them, as James voice was quite Loud.
Then, The Viscountess, Lestrange coughs and everything goes back to what it was before. Except for James and Regulus that is.
As soon as James and Regulus, gets off the Dancefloor, Regulus holds James arms and drag him off in the backside garden of the Black manner.
He pushes James towards a wall full of daises.
" Are you Crazy? Are you trying to ruin my reputation too? I mean, yours is already ruined. " Regulus said Angrily.
"What the FUCK is wrong with you?!" Said James, almost shouting at him.
" There's nothing wrong with me but there's something wrong with you" said Regulus.
"You knew about the engagement? Didn't you? And now you're saying something is wrong with me? There's nothing wrong with me." Said James.
" I didn't know, I fucking don't know a shit about this thing, I found out about this today itself, in the same room as you, at the same time as you" said Regulus.
Regulus was already feeling like shit. He was forced to get engaged and he didn't even know about it. Let alone, he was "The Potters" 3rd son, James Potter, Sirius Black's (Regulus's big brother) Best friend.
"What the Fuck do I do? I don't wanna get engaged to you, I already have my love of my life." Said James.
" Why are you asking me, I'm in a similar situation too except the Love of the Life of whatever part..." Said Regulus.
" We have no choice, let's do it " said Regulus.
" What? Whatever the hell you mean, I don't understand. " Said James.
" Get Engaged. Get married. " Said Regulus.
" How do you accept it so easily...This is not a child's play?! This is about YOUR life, MY life, it's our choice, our decision. " said James.
" But I never had a choice, I don't have a choice and never will, Don't act as if you've got a choice, are your parents not forcing you...? " Said Regulus.
James Flinched. He knew his parents usually listen to his all requests and do not force him, they love him and he loves them but Today was different. He couldn't explain anything. He knew Regulus was right...he knew that.
" Fine, I'll try to Love you, I guess" James said, Biting his lips.
" Good " said Regulus.
