The Chosen One

AURELIA AMIDALA SKYWALKER, Princess of Lunaris, lived far from the greater galaxies that had birthed her parents, on the moon of the only planet that had life in this galaxy, Earth, and Lunaris was rich with rare and wonderful resources.

Her parents came from very different backgrounds with a forbidden love that ended the war and the Sith. Aurelia was their greatest treasure and their greatest accomplishment. She was raised with knowledge and training, with love and duty, with the ability to grow and become her own person.

ELIA SMILED WIDELY with too many of her perfect teeth to be polite as her blood-red heart-shaped lips pulled-upwards. She spun sharply sending her hip-length large and loose light golden curls flowing over her shoulders as she sent a soft leather-clad leg and two-inch wedge-heel ankle boot high in a kick to her father's chest, which sending him flying back a dozen feet to land lightly on his feet after a long flip.

He laughed loudly with a wide smile of his own as his child shrugged unrepentantly. Elia leapt high into the air and spun forwards sending her lithe hourglass form towards like a blunt projectile as she twirled her blade to meet her father's once more, icy blue against jade green as her kick sent him sliding along the cushioned floor of the training room.

He stood and she twirled forward so their blades met again. "Gínesai kalýteros mikré. [You're getting better, little one.]" King Anakin Skywalker complimented as he parried her blade and twisted out of reach.

"Ékana énteka chrónia ekpaídefsis. [I have had eleven years of training.]" Elia counter nonchalantly as she dropped low and spun sweeping his feet out from under him. He flipped with one hand while blocking another strike. "Eíches ligóteri ekpaídefsi ótan égines vasiliás. [You had less training when you became king.]"

"Ímoun kai októ chrónia megalýteros. [I was also eight years older.]" Anakin stated as he rolled to his feet and pointed his blade at her neck. "Écheis gínei kýrios, allá écheis pollá akóma na mátheis, kóri mou. [You've become a master, but you've still much to learn, my daughter.]"

Laughing as she nodded, Elia deactivated her Lightsaber and slid it into the sheath on her thigh hidden beneath the long flowing jade green shawl wrap. "Eímai kai polý mikróteros. [I'm also much smaller.]" She agreed honestly and has always known that her parents would always know more about something than her. Elia had lightly golden flawless skin and hair a dozen shades darker, almond-shaped jade green eyes, delicate defined features, and a lithe hourglass build, but she was still only eleven years old and 1.25 meters tall.

"Eínai koukouvágia? [Is that an owl?]" Elia asked suddenly, pointing to the white bird that flew towards them.

"Naí. Anarotiémai pós vréthike edó. [Yes. I wonder how it got here.]" Anakin answered as he looked on with his own curiosity. They had several species of bird on Lunaris, but no owls so it was curious as to how it got on the planet.

"Nomízo óti échei grámma. [I think it has a letter.]" Elia said confused, wondering why such a primitive form of communication was being used, much less through the use of an animal.

The Dining Hall

THE SKYWALKER FAMILY sat together in the dining hall with their meal on their plates and multi-colored liquid in their glasses. Queen Padme Amidala Skywalker glanced between her husband, daughter, and the owl lounging on the back of a chair snacking on multi-colored seeds.

"Írthe apó ti Gi gia na sas proskalései se éna scholeío? [It came from Earth to invite you to a school?]" Padme asked incredulously, jade green eyes widening when the owl hooted suddenly with a confused tilt to her head.

"Nai, mitéra, írthe me mia protógoni epistolí prósklisis. Anaménetai na steíloume mia apántisi me tin koukouvágia. [Yes, mother, it came with a primitive letter of invitation. We're expected to send a reply with the owl.]" Elia answered with wide smile on the verge of laughing at the hilarity of the situation. It wasn't the letter or invitation that was funny, but the method of deliverance was hilarious to the young princess.

"Thélete na páte? [Do you want to go?]" Anakin asked his daughter. A primitive society on the planet had offered to teach his child, so if she wanted to experience what the world had to offer, she could start now rather than eight years from now as originally planned.

"Tha íthela na do ti échei na prosférei aftós o kósmos. [I would like to see what this world has to offer]" Elia said softly. Her parents shared a smile. She was their pride and joy, everything they could've wanted in a child and more surpassing all expectations.

"Tóte proetoimazómaste polý gia tin anachórisí sas. [Then we must prepare for your departure.]" Padme announced with a wide smile that was matched by her daughter's.

If Elia wanted to attend this school, there was much that needed to be done in preparation. For now, Anakin wanted to enjoy the evening hours with his wife and daughter. "Tha ta máthoume óla to proí. [We'll figure everything out in the morning.]"

Hogwarts Headmaster Office

MINERVA MCGONAGALL AND ALBUS DUMBLEDORE stared at the white-tinted glass with perfect cursive writing carved into it. "How interesting." The Headmaster of Hogwarts said jovially.

"Now do you see why we need to update the Book of Names?" Minerva asked irritated. "We need to know more about the background our students come from."

"The Book of Names has worked since the founding." Albus countered. "This is a unique case."

"Yes." Minerva agreed coldly. "Princess Aurelia Amidala Skywalker of Lunaris is a very special case that we have no idea how to prepare for."

"You make a good point." Albus sighed softly. After all, how could they prepare for the arrival of the heiress of the moon itself. While they preferred to treat all their students the same no matter the background, they couldn't do this with her. "Have they made any requests?"

"A tour of the school and a meeting with the leading members of staff before an escorted trip to the shopping district." Minerva said carefully phrasing her words.

"I see no problem with that." Albus said happily. Minerva's phrasing told him that she was using wording from the return letter, and it was a perfectly reasonable and expected request.

He was looking forward to meeting this unique family and hoped that Princess Aurelia did decide to come to Hogwarts, but for now they needed to prepare.

Hogwarts Staff Meeting Hall

THE HEADS OF HOUSE sat at the circular table with the headmaster more than a month in advance from their usual before school meeting. They knew something important had happened, the Elves were cleaning the castle and grounds with a vigor they'd never seen, and several rooms had been upgraded.

"Why are we here?" Severus Snape, Head of Slytherin and Potion Professor, asked coldly with his arms folded on the table.

"We have a very important student starting classes here next month." Albus answered with a wide smile. He loved the lighter and happier feel to the ground and castle. He'd requested a yearly deep clean of the castle from the elves and they'd been more than excited to agree.

"Harry Potter, we know." Professor Snape stated dryly, rolling his eyes in annoyance. He enjoyed the changes to the castle and ground but didn't like that the Potter brat was the reason for them.

"No." Minerva said shocking them. "While Mr. Potter will be arriving in September; this meeting is about a unique case. Princess Aurelia Amidala Skywalker of Lunaris was invited to be a student and accepted on the condition of a tour of the school, a meeting with the leading members of staff, and an escorted trip to the shopping district."

"I've never heard of Lunaris." Filius Flitwick, Head of Ravenclaw and Charms Professor, stated excitedly practically bouncing in his seat.

"It's the moon." Albus explained happily. The three Heads of House didn't know what to make of that news, so they put it aside to consider later.

"When will she and her parents arrive?" Pomona Sprout, Head of Hufflepuff and Herbology Professor, asked softly with a kind smile on her face.

"Next Monday." Minerva answered. "I'm putting together a syllabus of each class per year, activities open the students, and opportunities for after Hogwarts."

"That's a splendid idea." Filius said. "What made you come up with the idea?"

"Muggleborn and raised students and their parents asked for this information every year. It was beyond time to actually gather the information." Minerva answered.

Hogwarts Entrance Courtyard

THE FIVE STAFF MEMBERS stood on the steps of the entrance waiting for the arrival of their most important student in history, curious of their method of arrival. They were not expecting a ripple in the air to create a mirror-like pool which three people stepped out of.

They were human-like, more so than the staff had been expecting and felt ridiculous for the outlandish ideas they'd had before. They were just more than humans, more vibrant, flawless, graceful, beautiful.

The male had icy blue eyes and light golden hair that reached the nape of his neck. He was dressed in soft leather trousers, leather combat boots, and a long-sleeved icy blue tunic under a soft leather long coat. He wore no obscene crown, only a silver circlet with a small blue stone.

The elder female had jade green eyes and matte black large and loose curls that flowed down her back with braids of various sizes weaving between the curls. She was dressed in soft leather trousers, two-inch wedge-heel ankle boots, and a long jade green shawl wrap that twirled to a point at length with her ankles under a deep blue cloak. She wore a crown two inches thicker than her husband's circlet with diamonds and blue stones.

The child was obviously theirs with jade green almond-shaped eyes and hip-length large and loose light golden curls. She was dressed in soft leather trousers, two-inch wedge-heel ankle boots, and a long jade green shawl wrap that twirled to point at length with her knees under a soft leather long coat. Her circlet was between her mother and fathers made purely of spun blue stone which was more ornate than her father's and just as thin with the designs making it seen inch wide.

The portal closed behind the three and they walked forwards to meet the staff.

"Welcome!" Albus greeted cheerfully with a deep bow. "I am headmaster Albus Dumbledore, and these are my heads of house. Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress, Master of Transfiguration, and Head of House Gryffindor." Minerva stepped forward in her best gown and curtsied deeply before stepping back.

"Filius Flitwick, Master of Charms, and Head of House Ravenclaw." The short man moved forward dressed in dueling robes and gave a deep bow with his hand clenched in a fist over his heart before moving back.

"Pomona Sprout, Master of Herbology, and Head of House Hufflepuff." Pomona offered a smile as she stepped forward in a soft yellow gown and gave a deep curtsy before stepping back.

"Finally, we have, Severus Snape, Master of Potions, and Head of House Slytherin." Severus offered an expressionless face as he stepped forwards and offered a deep bow before stepping back with flourish.
