Change of plans
Seeing the growing irritation of Potter, Draco could only mentally pat himself in the back. He was sure that he was going to end-
"... it's been a pleasure, so 𝗂𝗌 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗐𝖾𝖽𝖽𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖽𝖺𝗍𝖾 𝖼𝗁𝗈𝗌𝖾𝗇?"
"What" Draco jumps from where he's sitting. This couldn't be happening! Potter is not supposed to continue on with their wedding! Did he miscalculate somewhere!?
He glares at Harry, "You-!" Potter just looks back at him confused, balling his first Draco tries to calm himself down. He needed to think with a clear mind.
"What's wrong dear?" His mother asks concerned.
"Nothing Mother, I was just really excited for my wedding" he smiles through gritting teeth. Then he turns to Potter, "I hope you're ready for all the wedding shopping you have to do 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨"
He expects some resistance from Potter but he simply nods. "I'll pick you up Tomorrow 2pm sharp" he looks at Potter with challenging eyes but that dunderhead just ignores his looks! He's definitely paying for this.
He wants to storm off and go on a rant about how Potter is once again the only cause of misery in his life and the tragedy of his heart. The reason he was stuck here in the first place, only if he hadn't bumped into that dim-witted, marble brained twat again.
This was all Potter's fault.
"We be going then." He turns towards Malfoy, "I'll see you then Mal.... Draco" .
Draco is too shocked to say anything and just stands there watching them go. How dare he act so aloof! He couldn't believe the audacity of that git.
"Well Draco, what are you trying to do? I'm sure you don't suddenly ... fancy him, dear?" He knows his mother won't be easily fooled and there wasn't any use hiding anything from her but he wasn't in the mood to explain things.
"I have a plan maman"

Back in his room he wonders why his friends from beauxbatons didn't come.
Pansy has a date for the night so she goes away with a promise to come visit later and Draco is once again left alone with his thoughts.
His plan didn't go as planned... Maybe he was being a little too nice? Or maybe it was the dress, maybe Potter is into that shit? After all he married a woman in the timeline Draco comes from.
Yes that's it.
It wasn't a blunder in Draco's plans but Potter is just sick in the head like that. It all makes sense now.
Now if he remembered, Potter loved teracle tarts during their time in Hogwarts, which means, Potter loves sweet things and he needs to make something exactly the opposite that.
After the war he moved out of the maror and bought a small apartment, his mother wasn't really escatic about it but she understood that Draco needed time to himself.
During those years he worked hard at got a job at st. Mungos as a potions maker. It wasn't a job he loved but he didn't hate it either, and he was also learning to cook.
His mother would come sometimes to share some old family recipes and spend some time together, so it shouldn't be so hard to do some other dishes now. Spicy food isn't his favourite but he had to learn to make it some day after all.
In the middle of his thoughts an owl comes knocking on his window.
He opens it for the owl to come safely and gives it some treats to eat.
Looks like it's a letter from Fleur. He wonders how he managed to make friends with that fierce Veela, also considering that fleur is a year older than him.
Wait! Fleur a year older!? She should be married to Bill by now, but the timelines somehow don't match. It's all confusing.
He finally opens the letter.

A chance to Potter? And him? Fleur seems sweet but she couldn't be thinking right if she thinks him and Potter will ever get along.
He picks up his quill and writes his reply with extra emphasis on the fact that he isn't gonna change his mind and that he's doing perfectly fine.
He asks a little about Tristan but he doesn't know any of his beauxbaton friends that well so he doesn't write much on that subject.
He doesn't know much from this life but sometimes he get's flashes of this Draco's life and recognises his friends from one of them.
He feels a little sorry because he doesn't know them well even though he is technically Draco, but he's not the Draco everyone believes he is.
Maybe if he sleeps he'll get some more memories of this Draco's life.
