Sakura Haruka
Severus did his best to ignore the first year glaring at him, as he set his clipboard down on his desk. He was about to start with the eye exam when something caught his eye. "Whoa, what happened there?"
"It's just my natural eye color, what about it?!" Sakura Haruka snapped at him. "You wanna go?"
"That's nice and all but, I was talking about your ankle." Severus stated pointing to the bandaged ankle. "So, if it's okay with you I'd like to have a look to make sure it's healing. Or are you going to punch my lights out if I get too close?"
"You can check if you have to or whatever." Sakura huffed and turned his head away.
"Thank you, I'll promise to try and be as gentle as I can." he then squatted down and undo the bandage, he checked the boy's ankle. It's was a clean looking line which had scabbed over nicely. But it did look inflamed a little. Standing back up, he turned to his cabinet and collected some latex gloves, a cotton ball and a tube of antiseptic cream. "So what type of knife was it? Did you see?"
"Just some cheap box cutter looking thing." Sakura answered.
"Ah, that explains the clean line, lucky it was a shallow wound." Severus explained as he pulled on his gloves. "Those knives can cause some nasty damage but I'm more used to injuries by knives from a kitchen block. Anyway, I'm just gonna put on some antiseptic cream on the area, it's looking red but other than that, it's healing nicely." He gently dabbed the cotton bud along the scab before dropping it into his bin along with his used gloves. "That should help prevent it from getting infected but if you start getting feverish or the shivers, let me know immediately. But you should be fine."
"How much does the state pay you to baby us anyway?" Sakura said. "I didn't think any adult would dare to work here, so it's got to be a lot."
"Pay me?" Severus blinked before bursting into laughter.
"What's so funny?" Sakura demanded with low growl.
"You do know that I'm a third year student, right?" Severus informed him. "Christ, I wish that Umemiya paid me for putting up with you lot."
"But you're a doctor?"
"I'm a first aider, not a doctor."
"Then why the hell does everyone call you "Doc", is that your name or something?"
"Oh that's just a dumb nickname that Umemiya gave me when we were kids in junior high. Everyone else starting calling me Doc, so it stuck. Plus it doesn't help that my real name is hard to pronounce in Japanese."
"What's your real name?"
"Severus Snape."
"Huh?!"
"Seburusu suneipu. See, it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, does it?"
