Chapter 10

The next day or he Dursly's were announced dead. Apparently there was a car crash. An accident.

The neighbors were saddened by the news. As far as they knew the family was quite well respected and perfect. They were kind and perfectly normal.

But the strange thing about the accident was that, the corpses were completely unrecognizable. It was a miracle that they even found out whose corpses they were. It didn't seem like a car accident caused it. But what else could it be?

The person on the other car survived with no life treating injuries. Just a couple of scratches.

It was a mystery how the Dursly's were in an unrecognizable state. And it stayed a mystery. No One knew what really happened that day to cause such a tragedy. And they would never know.

The place where it happened was covered in yellow tape. No one could go in there. At least not until it was cleared first. For it was a tragedy. A messy tragedy. It was horrible to look at.

The case was closed. No one could figure out how they really died. They had no enemies. No one who could want them dead. They were respected and a perfectly normal family. So what happened?

A couple of days later, Marge Dursly, sister of Vernon Dursly was found dead. Her death was not similar to her brother's death. It was not connected. Apparently she had a lot of enemies. She was racist and pissed off a bunch of wrong people. No one could really find who murdered her.

But her corpse too was almost unrecognizable. As stated she had a lot of enemies. Her case was closed and no one thought much of it.

Maybe far down it the future someone would connect both cases and think it was not a coincidence. But even they would not be able to to figure out the truth. The case would remain closed.

Amidst all the chaos no one would remember their nephew. Harry Potter. And no one would think he had anything to do with their deaths.

And yes, that was true. He didn't have anything to do with their deaths. But his godfather, well. He was another case.

Sirius black. He was the lord of the house black. No one would make the mistake of accusing him of murder ever again.

And just like that, Harrys aunt and uncle as well as his cousin died. In a car accident. Nobody would look into that case all that much. And there was no tears lost to them. Everyone knew what they had done and if you asked them they would tell you that they got what they deserved. That their deaths were a mercy.

The world moved on. When did it ever stop.

Harry, when he heard the news was feeling a... little strange, to say the least. He didn't know what he was supposed to be feeling. Normally, when one loses a family member, they feel sadness and grief, anger or anything really. But he wasn't exactly normal was he? He didn't feel much of anything hearing the news. He felt nothing. And that might make him a bad person, after all they were still his aunt and uncle. Or he may be justified in not grieving their deaths. Maybe it should make him feel bad, not feeling anything about the news. But he just didn't care anymore. He was tired. And so he moved on.

The world moved on.

Harry continued on with his life. He went back to school with his friends and this year was happier somewhat.

For example, Dumbledore wasn't there to make some plans on how to ruin their school year.

When the ministry learned the truth about him, the full truth, they decided that it was for the best if he retired, to say it with nice words. He was ancient, it was long time coming.

So yeah, things were nice. He hoped

it would last. This was the best year if his life.
