Priscilla sighs as she watches Nipollen jump onto their father's shoulder.
Their father had changed a lot one day. He started actually doing his own administrative work, he started leading all the retainers to take care of the duchy, he started actually taking care of all of them, his children.
It was almost suspicious, but all of them, after a long time of watching him, decided not to question it.
It... was a good change.
Especially for Nipollen who didn't know his parents before The Change.
Only Priscilla hopes that Nipollen doesn't learn any bad habits from Duke Tain on the days her cat brother chose to hitch a ride on their father.
Duke Tain was still a horrible gambler.
Priscilla even thought that he somehow got. Worse.
(And everyone is happy later for Tsunade!Duke Tain healing Yuder, oneshotting some monsters and Awakeners with one punch, etc.)
(Priscilla permitting Tsunade!Duke Tain to gamble only if Priscilla is around so Priscilla can ask her father what he wanted to bet on and Priscilla stops him and bets on the exact opposite.)
