The King's Awakening
The morning sun cast a golden hue over the Hogwarts castle, bathing the ancient stone walls in a warm glow. Inside Gryffindor Tower, the dormitory was abuzz with excitement as the students prepared for the new school year. Among them, Harry Potter stood at his window, gazing out at the sprawling grounds with a mixture of anticipation and apprehension.
As the King of Gryffindor, Harry's responsibilities weighed heavily on his shoulders. Since the Sorting Hat had proclaimed him the rightful ruler of his house, Harry had spent the summer learning about the duties and traditions that came with his title. Now, as he watched the younger students hurrying to the Great Hall for breakfast, he couldn't help but feel a surge of pride tinged with uncertainty.
"Harry, are you ready?" Hermione Granger's voice broke through his thoughts, and he turned to see his best friends standing by the door, ready to head down to breakfast.
"I suppose so," Harry replied with a faint smile. "It's just... being king feels like a lot sometimes."
Ron Weasley clapped him on the back. "You'll be brilliant, mate. Just be yourself, and everyone will follow you."
With their words of encouragement, Harry felt a renewed sense of determination. He straightened his robes, adjusting the crown that marked him as the King of Gryffindor, and led the way out of the dormitory.
The Great Hall was alive with chatter as students from all houses gathered for the start-of-term feast. As Harry entered, a hush fell over the room, and all eyes turned to him. He could feel the weight of their expectations, but also their trust in him as their leader.
Dumbledore, seated at the head table, rose to his feet and smiled warmly at Harry. "Welcome, King Potter. May this year bring prosperity and unity to Hogwarts."
Harry nodded, feeling a surge of determination. This year would be unlike any other, filled with challenges and triumphs as he navigated his role as both a student and a leader. As he took his seat at the Gryffindor table, he knew that he was ready to embrace his destiny as the King of Gryffindor.
