Chapter 1
Charity Potter, a young woman with fiery red hair, stood in front of Sirius Black with her eyes flashing with anger. Her cheeks were red with frustration, and her hands were balled into fists at her sides. She looked like she was about to explode as she pointed an accusing finger at Sirius, who looked at her with a mixture of confusion and concern.
"I am going to kick your ass, Padfoot!" she screamed, her voice trembling with rage. She took a step closer to him, her eyes blazing with fury.
Sirius was taken aback by her sudden outburst. He had never seen her like this before, and he didn't know what he had done to upset her so much. "What's wrong this time, honey?" he asked, trying to calm her down.
But Charity was having none of it. "That's my problem, Black! What is wrong with you?" she yelled, her voice rising with each word. She was not interested in being pacified.
Sirius was now completely lost and asked, "What is?"
Charity let out a deep sigh as if she couldn't believe he was so clueless. "The nickname you gave me! That's my problem!" she said, her voice now dripping with annoyance.
Sirius still didn't understand what she was talking about. "What nickname?" he asked, his forehead creased in confusion.
Charity rolled her eyes, clearly exasperated. "Yes, that name you've given me since 2nd year. It's getting old and it's just not funny anymore. It's embarrassing!"
"Why?" Sirius teased, trying to lighten the mood.
"Because now anytime I want to at least talk to someone, they run the other way," she explained, her tone serious.
"Good. And besides, it's already on the map. Sorry, but there's no going back now," Sirius said, trying to make light of the situation.
"Pads, you better be messing around," she threatened, her eyes narrowing.
"Well, I'm not, so best of luck," he said with a smirk, enjoying the playful banter.
"Why did you put it on there?!" she screamed.
"Well, because you're a Hufflepuff, your animagus form is a honey badger, and to irritate you," he said. "Besides, why do you have a problem now?"
"Because now I am currently looking to date someone, and they think that I am dating you!" she answered.
"Good! You don’t need to be dating right now anyway. Also, you said it was okay since it would cover my relationship," he fired back.
"Yeah, that was until I liked someone!" she yelled. "You what?" she stated as soon as the idea came to her. "James!" she called.
"Ha! He’s with Reggie right now. So mhm," he said as he stuck out his tongue.
"Oh," she said in shock and a hint of sadness. "You know I’m leaving! Bye, love you," she said with hatred.
"Love you too!" he shouted back.
