(Evan)
Evan, Barty, Regulus, Pandora and Dorcas were sitting in defense agains the dark arts when their teacher announced that they’d be fighting a bogart for their lesson. Everyone assembled in a line. Four people had gone before it was Evan’s turn, he stepped in front of the bogart, staring it down. The creature swiftly morphed into a large clown with a painted smile. Evan was frozen in fear, he held out his wand and casted “Riddikulus” and the clown shrunk into a small Jack in the Box.
“Nice work Mr. Rosier. To the back of the line now.” Next was Barty, he stepped up to the bogart and it shifted to a tall man wearing a blazer; Barty Crouch Sr.
“Damnit Barty!” The creature’s fists clenched “I told you not to go into my office you little shit!” Its loud voice boomed through the classroom. Barty was frozen, he looked terrified. He stood there for a minute before running out of the classroom.
Evan ran after him, all the way to the tree by the black lake. Barty sat there crying his eyes out, shaking. Evan slowly walked over to him sitting down beside his friend. Evan gently rubbed his back until Barty was breathing steadily. Barty pulled Evan as close as he could, Evan wrapped his arms around Barty tighter that possible. After ages Evan felt Barty pull away so he loosened his grip.
Barty took Evan’s face in his hands, studying it, finally, after ages, he pulled Evan close, kissing him gently. Evan was startled but he kissed him back. Evan moved his lips against Barty's and suppressed a moan as Evan willingly opened his mouth, allowing Barty’s tongue to slip in. Barty threaded a hand through Evan’s hair as he continued kissing him. Evan thought Barty tasted sweet like honey or cookies. They explored each others mouths for what felt like an eternity. They broke apart for a short moment to catch air.
“That was amazing.” Evan whispered, panting slightly. He meant it, that was amazing.
“Really?” Barty asked
“Yeah. I’ve been waiting a year for that.”
“Well I’ve been waiting two years.” Barty chuckled before Evan pulled him into another kiss.
They skipped the rest of classes that day, though there were only two. When dinner came around they headed from the Great Lake to the Great Hall. When they sat down at the table all of their friends stared at them quizzically,
“You two look happy.” Pandora smirked.
“Shut up.” Evan rolled his eyes then ruffled her hair. They sat down and ate with their friends, a good meal to end the great afternoon.
When they got back to the dorms Reg cornered them,
“What happened?” He raised a sharp eyebrow. Evan and Barty shared a look that read Should we tell him? Evan waited for Barty to nod before saying
“We kissed.” Regulus’s jaw dropped.
“That’s it?!” They nodded. “Ok.” Reg walked up to Evan, grabbed the front of shirt and pulled him down in kind of a menacing way, “If you hurt him, I’ll hurt you.” Then walked over to Barty, did the same thing but this time “him” meaning Evan. Reg seemed satisfied with his amount of threatening and went to get changed.
Evan and Barty got into bed (Reg went to “study” with James in the Gryffindor common room). Evan climbed into bed followed by Barty. Like normal Barty laid his head on Evans chest and he wrapped his arms around Barty.
“Hey,” Barty looked up, “would you be my boyfriend?” Evan asked, to which Barty looked at him like he was crazy,
“Hell yes!” Barty said before kissing Evan softly.
Boyfriend.
Evan liked that.
