Chapter 1
“Are you guys coming to the Halloween costume party?” Sirius asked the Slytherins, all having breakfast.
“Yeah sure.” Pandora answered him.
“What are you thinking?!” Regulus asked Pandora as Sirius walked away,
“I’m think you all need to get out more. Especially you and Evan.” Regulus and Evan both looked offended.
“I get out.” Evan protested.
“No you don’t.” Dorcas butted in.
“Anyway we’re going to that party. We don’t have to stay for the whole time but,” Pandora pointed at Regulus, “you at least need to speak to James.” Regulus blushed and ducked his head.
They all walked back to the dorms for the night. They all headed up to Reg, Barty and Evans dorm. They sat down on their beds and started talking. The party was Saturday, four days from then and they need to find costumes.
“We should do a group costume.” Barty suggested, “That’d be a good idea we just need to figure out what to do.” Dorcas added.
“How about Winnie the Pooh? That’s five and is recognizable.” Evan suggested, Regulus groaned a bit but they all agreed and said it would be pretty funny. Barty stopped listening at this point, instead choosing to lay in his bed and stare at Evan. Evan had curly blonde hair, dark skin, and blue eyes that Barty (or anyone) could get lost in. Which was a bit of a contrast to Barty’s brown hair, tan skin and brown eyes.
Barty had liked Evan since he was 14, so about 2 years and about 2 years after they met. Barty thought Evan was amazing, the only thing was; Barty was sure that Evan did not like him back. He was snapped out of his thoughts by Regulus asking what character he wanted to be.
“I’ll be Tiger.”
“Cool. I think it’s pretty obvious, I’ll be Eeyore.” Regulus said rolling his eyes a bit.
“That is obvious,” Pandora stated “I’ll be the owl, whatever his name is.” She laughed trying to remember the characters name,
“Ooh, I’ll be piglet!” Dorcas said with excitement, “Guess that gives me Pooh.” Evan stated
“I mean you are blonde.” Regulus added straight faced. “Whatever at least we got our costumes but how will we get the actual costumes?”
“I’ll get my mom to buy costumes and mail them to us by Wednesday.” Dorcas said. Now they had a plan, great.

Pandora and Dorcas went back to their dorm and said bye to the boys. Regulus headed to the bathroom to change for bed.
“Are you excited?” Evan asked Barty.
“Yeah. I mean I’m not much of a party person as you know but still you guys will be there and I’m always up for spending time with you.” Evan smiled.
“I like spending time with you too, darling.” Evan said before grabbing his clothes and going to change as soon as Regulus left the bathroom.
Evan always called Barty “darling” but every time he did Barty’s heart skipped. Barty figured he needed to go ahead and get dressed and brush his teeth. He walked into the bathroom to see Evan standing there, washing his face, wearing pajama bottoms. Only pajama bottoms. Barty tried really hard not to look at Evan as he got in the shower.
