**THIS IS A UNOFFICIAL CONTINUATION OF MAGIC AND MYSTERY BY ALLEGORY**Ah, Hogwarts. The wizarding worldz last defense. And its greatest threat was within it.

Of Everything Gone Wrong

Even months later, Dazai still remembered all the magical blood on his hands. Mori never let him forget. Every morning th Daily Prophet came in, he was reminded of his crimes.

The Wizarding World was in flames.

And Dazai was the one to start the fire.

-

Dazai had almost forgotten the incessant noise and bustle that was King’s Cross station. All the men and families hurrying to get somewhere, unknowing of the creature among them.

He sighed and climbed out the limo, sticking his tongue out at Hirotsu after inhaling yet another puff of the cigarette smoke that filled the interior of the expensive car.

"Y’know, one of these days I'm gonna die of secondhand smoke inhalation." Dazai mused as he heaved his luggage out of the trunk of the car.

Hirotsu’s eyebrows furrowed, whether in annoyance or stress, Dazai couldn't tell.

As Dazai weaved his way through the busy station, endless worries of Mori and DOE's next moves pressing down on him. Although worrying was usually Blaise's thing, Dazai allowed himself to do it, because these were things Blaise shouldn't - couldn't - know.

Oh. Dazai had almost forgot.

Blaise's blood was just as mafia-black as his.

And his hands just as red.

-

Ron saw how Fred and George practically leap out of their seats to greet Dazai as he got on the old Hogwarts Express steam engine. Ron entertained himself with Featherbrain, who Dazai - or his caretakers - clearly didn’t give the time of day to. Or week, by the looks of it. Angel was already gone, as was to be expected of the conniving rat. Ron had never trusted it, with its amethyst eyes and jet black fur. From the looks of it, Dazai and Draco didn't either. He would never be able to comprehend why Ginny had named it Angel, if anything, Demon fit far better.

Oh, if only he had an owl. Percy was lucky, he had gotten one last year when he had been made prefect.

His thoughts were interrupted by Draco being shoved into the booth by a grinning Dazai. "Bloody hell-!" Ron exclaimed, as the Slytherin collided with him, shoving him back and slamming his head into the window.

"Ugh.." Draco groaned, and when he realized who he had landed on, jumped up. "What is wrong with you?!" Draco demanded, directed towards Dazai, of course. The boys grin didn't falter, even as Ron had to steady himself to sit up due to his throbbing head.

Dazai rolled his eye (his other one was still under bandages), and responded in a joyful tone, brimming with childlike mischief. "A lot of things, please specify."

Draco practically lunged at Dazai, and before Ron could restrain him (to minimize the trouble the group would get in), he heard a familiar call of "Wingardium Leviosa!"

Hermione sighed, then loudly complained "Can none of you control yourselves? It seems I'm always on damage control."

Pansy added "Same here. That's hopefully our only similarity, mudblood." The raven haired girl scoffed.

"Hey, don't call her that! Slimy Slytherin scum!" Ron intergected, bristling with anger and raising his wand. Dazai forced himself between the two, raising his hands as if telling them not to fight.

"Now, now, stop fighting! I can't have my hounds tearing eachother apart, now can I?" Dazai chuckled. "Or else I won't have a gang!"

"Speaking of that.." Draco grumbled, scooting away from Ron. "Where is Blaise?"

Dazai shrugged. "Pretty sure I sent him with the twins to stake out the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. Ginny wanted to go with them, too, so I let her."

"We already know its going to be another Ministry prick." Ron said, knowing well what was going to happen. After Dumbledore had been murdered - by a Muggle weapon, no less! - The Ministry and Department of Education had been sticking their noses in Hogwarts business. It was all over both the Daily Prophet and Quibbler, though the two papers had very different opinions on how it happened. The former claimed foul play and the Demon Student, while the latter thought some third force had come in and eliminated him. He had a sneaking suspicion that Dazai knew the truth, but nothing he had said in the last 10 minutes had betrayed anything.

"Yeah, but some are more suspectable to pranks then others." Dazai raised his shoulders in a half-hearted shrug.

-

Being shoved into the compartment with the twins, Blaise, Draco, Ron, and Hermione was less then comfortable. It reminded Dazai of the kennels, if only passingly. Blaise had insisted upon shoving himself by Dazai's side, and although he had protested, it was to no avail, as they were now here.

Pranks and Chaos (with its new member, Ginny Weasely), along with his Second-in-Command had promptly filled him in. The new DADA teacher was to be one Professor Umbridge, who Fred had described as a 'Fat, controlling hag of a woman', a description that Dazai was sure would get him a slap on the face should Mrs. Weasely had heard it. Thank goodness that they were far from Station 9 3/4, and the Express was chugging slowly over the Scottish highlands.
