Wicked & Wrecked
Summary
Hi, since Magic & Mystery / Coil will not be continued I will write my own version of the continuation. The characters will not be completely accurate to the original fanfiction but I'll try my best. Also I have not read Harry Potter in forever, so please bear with me.There will probably be more mentions of Dazai's mother and other stuff that wasn't mentioned in m&m/coil but the original fanfiction also wasn't canon to bsd and hp so 🤷English isn't my first language so there will be grammar mistakes. On that note, have fun <3.
Note
Thanks for looking into this !!! <3Tw: creepy MoriI'm so sorry to anyone who's reading this lol

Of dresses and scratched letters

After they got into the car Hirotsu continuingly stared at him, even more so than before.
"What is it? Do I have something on my face ?", he asked, his voice sounding number than usual.
Hirotsu was quick to reply, his face a bit astonished but back to his usual demeanor quickly: " Well, there's still blood on your face, you may want to clean it up? After all I don't think boss would be happy over you getting yourself dirty"
He held out a hand to Dazai with a handmirror and a cleaning wipe.
"I suppose you're right"
Dazai would have much preferred to upset the doctor but unlike Hirotsu thought Mori would probably think it looked rather cute on him. Ew. Thinking about Mori had him in a bad mood already so he vowed to not think of him for some time. Instead he focused on getting the blood off of his face, there wasn't much he could do for the clothes. Mori probably wouldn't care but Dazai still made sure to not get any blood on the coat. He could already see the headlines in the daily prophet due to the "greatest wizard of the century" being dead. Would they lead the murder back to him? Or would they think that a mere child couldn't do such a thing? Even though he doesn't think it would stop them from assuming, especially considering what they all tried to blame him for in the past two years... Thinking about it, was it really the best idea to kill him with a gun? Mori probably knows what he's doing. Ah, now he remembered. They would probably blame everything on the third party and they had no idea that the third party and he had any connection whatsoever. As expected from the doctor. Dazai hates to admit it but when it comes to strategy the doctor proves himself to be more than just a creep. He's thinking about Mori again, damn it. He swept away in thoughts, thinking about anything but Mori, yes that was a good idea...

After a while Hirotsu declared that they had arrived.
Dazai got out of the car and started walking him to Mori's office. There was a silence between them but it was by no means an awkward silence, it was a comfortable silence. After all Dazai knew he had to be talking a lot soon. When they reached the door Hirotsu took his leave and Dazai found Mori already awaiting him. Mori waited behind his desk looking cheerful and gesturing for him to come nearer. Dazai sat Infront of Mori's desk so that the doctor was now staring down a t Dazai with a disgusting grin, or well at least it was disgusting in Dazai's eyes.
"I take it that you've completed your mission"
"Of course. I don't fail"
"As expected from my executive. I have big plans for the future but for now", Mori looked wir awe in his eyes," I'm so glad you're finally here. I missed you, dear."
And with that we're here again, Dazai thought while rolling his eyes. Mori talked so much useless stuff when he was in a good mood.
"I'm happy that you'll be here for so long. I already despise the day you'll leave again. You'll be released from all of your duties for the rest of summer break", Mori said, gleaming. Dazai on the other hand was rather unhappy about this. He thought he could finally get a bit out of his room dye to being an executive ...but that was just wishful thinking or so he guessed.
"But before all that, we still have a few things to discuss. Your school sent me this."
He shoved a letter over the desk, it read ' Permission for Hogsmead'. Dazai heard about Hogsmead from the twins. It was a village nearby Hogwarts with many stores but why was it relevant.
"And are you allowing me to go"
"Convince me!"
Dazai didn't even really want to go there but if this was a challenge then he was sure to win this.
"Why shouldn't I go?"
"It would be a distraction from your duties."
"But the demon student furthering his territory to Hogsmead would be a scandal. Wouldn't it ? Even more fear would arise"
"You look so cute when you're trying to convince me! I'll allow it since you asked so cutely."
Dazai hated this. Of course it was just another trick to humiliate him.
"It was a clever trick, you know. Poisoning the potion so that the doctors get arrested. Not only, because victims are dead but also because it makes people question fundamentals of the wizarding society. I mean the people that are supposed to heal them at their worst, just killed multiple people, that sure will be a headline "
Yeah, a headline just like they wanted, only that instead of them writing it, they're actually the ones in it. Dazai chuckled thinking of this
"It's great to know, you're amused. After all you've done a good job. And because you've done so great I have a reward for you. I bought you dresses that'll look adorable on you but that's something for another day. You'll receive them tomorrow."
Dazai's smile dropped immediately. He was sick already thinking about it.
"But for now you can go rest. After all it won't be fun if you're tired from the beginning."
Dazai stepped out of the office and was guarded to his room by Mori. Dazai changed into more comfortable clothes and layed on the bed. He only layed there without sleeping. He was really tired but his mind just couldn't rest. He didn't like thinking of the future but the thoughts crept into his brain nonetheless. He thought about Spleen, Albus, his gang and so so much more before finally falling asleep.

When he woke up the dresses Mori was talking about we're already laying next to his bed but he kicked them aside as he got up. Dazai only thought about one thing and nothing could ruin his mood for him: writing Blaise!
He sat down at his desk, while he was doing so he noticed that featherbrain and the rest of his luggage have been transported into his room. He got out a pen, he stole from Mori's desk yesterday evening and when he was almost finished, something knocked on the window: it was Blaise's owl! As he opened the window and took the paper from the owl's foot, the door opened and he felt someone staring at him.
"What do you want, Mori?"
Before the doctor said anything, he snatched the letter from Dazai's hands.
" Is this from one of your distractions, Shuji?"
Dazai looked at him in shock.
He wanted to say something but he couldn't, he just stared. He was frozen just like when father spoke, just like he sometimes still was when he just thought about it. He just watched...watched as Mori was reading the letter and watched as Mori retrieved a lighter from his pocket and watched....as Mori lit it on fire.
"You will tell me immediately when any letters arrive. I will have cameras installed in your room and I will know if you lie to me, do you understand?"
Dazai gulped but nodded , he wondered what Blaise might have written to upset the doctor so much. He was still avoiding eye contact. He was still unable to speak.
"So, this boy helped you kill the matron?"
Dazai's eyes widened. Blaise wrote about that? Damnit.
"I hope you know, that there will be a punishment. Not only have you trusted and therefore have become attached but your attachment also wrote about this and delivered the letter with an owl that could've easily been catched. You will not write anything to this boy and will not receive anything from him, I will make sure of that."
Any cheerfulness that had been prior in the doctor's voice was now long gone.
He dragged Dazai along, out of his room and all he could do was hang there like a ragdoll. He knew exactly what was awaiting him. He knew exactly how this summer was going to go and he did not like it, not even in the slightest.

The summer was a mix of dresses, kennels, and many other things that would've been unbearable to anyone but Dazai. He wasn't out of it anymore after a few days. He just wasn't used to it anymore after being in Hogwarts for so long but he'd grown numb to it. He wasn't sure why he actually felt something at the beginning, it was stupid, really. But he was almost at the end, almost back at Hogwarts. Here he was, knocking on Mori's door, all of his things packed.
"Ah, Shuji, good to see you! I just wanted to discuss something small with you. Do you perhaps know Fyodor Dostoevsky?"
Dazai thought about the question. Was he supposed to?
"No", he said with a frown
" Good. Your luggage is in the limo. Hirotsu is awaiting you Infront of the door. I trust you'll do a great job.
I'll see you in winter break and be sure to write me."
Dazai was almost out of the door when Mori added:" oh, and don't let yourself get distracted, especially not from this boy"
Dazai stood firmly in place. Oh no, he was sure not to get distracted and Mori knew he made sure of that.
" And one thing I forgot to tell you. Your professor was making quite the trouble for us. He was screaming that he wanted to 'save you' or something."
Dazai couldn't help but flinch at that information. Was he talking about Snape. God the professor was really a fool.
"They erased his memories with an ability. It would be suspicious if any more professors would be dead. Plus they could have led it back to Yokohama and we wouldn't want that. Please keep an eye on him and inform me, if he should cause any more problems."
Dazai looked at him, deadpanned.
He didn't really care but by the sounds of it, he'd have to be writing a lot of letters and that sounded like a drag....

The drive to the leaky cauldron was silent. The only thing Dazai could hear was the rain hitting against the windows. When they finally arrived Hirotsu said his goodbye and Dazai stepped out, dragging his heavy luggage out of the limo.
There he was, once again...away from home
