Chapter 2
Mori, surprisingly enough, immediately agreed with sending Dazai back to Hogwarts. After Dazai had *ahem* killed Albus, he returned to the Port Mafia. "Mori, will I be allowed to return to Hogwarts for my 3rd year?" Mori simply smiled. "My my. You just got back from Hogwarts, and that's the first thing you ask? If I didn't know any better, I would think that you got attached. Alas, I missed seeing you around, and Elise-chan just insulted me while you were gone! But, we are too far into this plan to back off now, so yes. You are to return to Hogwarts for your 3rd year. Besides, I think that learning magic will be quite useful, don't you think?" "Indeed..." "Plus, who is there to stop me from sending you there?" Mori asked with a smile. Dazai clenched his fists slightly. Rubbing salt in the wound, aren't you Mori? After Mori killed the previous Port Mafia boss, he liked mentioning that he was the official guardian of Dazai, especially to Dazai. "However, I need you to keep a closer eye on the Malfoy's. They might decide to make more of a mess than expected. As such, you are to be attending the Malfoy's Winter Ball, again, this year. Oh. And keep that owl of yours cooped up. It keeps stealing my pens!"
And so, Dazai went to the Malfoy Ball. He first found Draco. "Draco!" Dazai exclaimed, waving. "Dazai?! I didn't know that you were going to be here again." "Yep! Sadly, I'm not allowed out into the open area because of my reputation, so we'll just have to settle with private areas." "I'm fine with that, as long as this time, no important revelations are told that make me completely rethink my friendships with you that ruin my day." Pansy said, walking up from behind Dazai. "Pansy? What are you doing back here?" Draco questioned, with slightly surprise. "I followed Dazai." She pointed at him with her thumb. "Really? I thought I was being so sneaky!" Pansy rolled her eyes. "I saw you immediately. Didn't even try to hide." Pansy said, then looked past Draco. "Hey, isn't that Blaise?" Pansy said off-handly. Dazai pushed past Pansy, who silently grumbled at her treatment. "Blaise!" Dazai called to him, and waved with a cheerful smile. Blaise waved back with a soft smile. "Hey. Anything you guys have to talk about? Or has nothing worth mentioning happen yet?" Blaise mostly looked at Dazai as he talked. Pansy rolled her eyes at that. "Well~" Dazai started. "I do have some interesting news to share, but Pansy doesn't want any 'relevations that would ruin her day', like last time, so sadly I can't share it." "I was joking about that!" Pansy said, startled. "Do you actually have such big news?" She continued. "Yep!" Dazai said with a cheeky smile, popping the p. "But~ it can wait. Besides, I told Blaise that only he could know about it, so too bad. Now, let's go do something fun!" Dazai pushed Draco ahead of him. "Lead the way!" Pansy scoffed. Blaise smiled at Dazai's cheerfulness, and Draco just sighed and resigned himself to his fate.
