The First Fright
“Alright, so what’s the plan for this next prank of your’s, Weasley?”
Angelina asked slyly, lounging on a Gryffindor couch next to Orion, who was seeing the whole place for the first time ever. Orion was still jumpy at this point when hanging around the Weasley twins or anyone from Gryffindor other than Angelina due to the fact he had little exposure to them throughout their 5 years at Hogwarts. Now he sat on a Gryffindor couch, back straight, hands in lap, and legs firmly on the floor. The Malfoy family conditioning was the main reason for this.
“Why would we tell you, Johnson?”
Fred asked from his place on another couch, leaning against it with Lee Jordan chilling next to him. George wasn’t there, which was odd.
“I wanna help,”
Angelina smiled, giving a glance to Orion, who was zoning out while staring at the fire place.
“You already are,”
“Huh?”
Just as Angelina spoke, George snuck up behind her and Orion, yelling a loud rawr. Orion, being so stiff already, gave a small yelp and fell to the ground. Then Fred and Lee bursted out laughing, nearly falling off their couch as well. Angelina chuckled and punched George in the arm, while he smiled, while laughing, apologetically to Orion.
“Sorry, mate,”
George chuckled, moving from behind the couch and to where Orion was on the ground,
“Didn’t know I’d frighten you that bad,”
He smiled brightly, holding a hand out for Orion. Orion took it, looking away as his cheeks pinked, slinking back onto the couch, less proper this time. Lee and Fred still laughed, even as George sat down next to them and began patting their backs.
