The Prologue
"You know I've always loved Spain?" said Pandora.
"Really well then it's settled were moving to Spain! I heard it's lovely this time of year" Lily replies.
"Gosh you're stupid" Pandora hums, moving out from under Lily to sit on the floor and finish doing her mascara.
She's been dating Lily for a month now and she still finds her endless optimism to be the most endearing yet frustrating thing about her. Ever since the first day she saw Lily she had her absolutely wrapped around her finger. They had been friends for several years before getting together in Year eleven but even then she could never say no to her.
"Ok so what part of Spain then dear? Valenica, Barcelona, Madrid?" She gets up making her way to the closet to find her favorite pair of kitten heels to complete her outfit.
"Love" Lily stands up spinning Pandora around the room "As long as it's with you I could care less where we go. Hell ship me to Antarctica, as long as it's with you I'd have a delightful time. "Now let's go before we're late besides if we are I think they'd never find a way to forgive us".
Pandora grabs Lily's hand and her purse kissing her as they walk out the door together.

"Look who decided to show up late none the less but at least they made it" Remus began from the cafe table getting up to greet them. "Hey Pandora it's great to see you, Lily going to have to steal her from you for a moment. So Pands you know I finished reading that book you gave me and honestly I think it's amazing but..."
Lily watched as her girlfriend and Remus walked over to the the table rambling on about some book they both love. She sat down across the table from them ordering an Iced Latte. She always loved this cafe the warmness, the soft music playing, the coziness of strangers chattering, and the obvious amazing coffee and pastries is what lured their friend group to this spot. It was a break from the chaos,the pressure of school, the judging of others- this is where she could be herself. At school she was always seen as "that smart girl who's really pretty but it's a shame she's so quiet". Here she could be the Lily that loves talking her friends ears off, that can be seen for more than just her looks and smarts. Her dazing was interrupted by the ringing of the door opening. Looking up from her coffee she saw Regulus looking around for them.
"Hey you, over here" Lily said while getting up and embracing Regulus in a hug. They had first met when he sat next to her in English, despite his and Lily's quiet demeanor they slowly be come friends and soon they became inseparable. And when Regulus had introduced her to Remus and Pandora, their little group was set in stone. Lily walked him back to the table so he could greet the others.
"God it's been so long since the four of us have changed out here" Pandora said, the table humming in agreement. "We need to start hanging out more I mean really I don't know how I'll live if we all stop being friends.
"I fully agree speaking of, Regulus I know you don't all love your brother's friends, well besides me of course" Remus joked "But he invited me to one of his stupid parties and I really think we should all go. I mean we haven't properly gone out in ages and with exams coming up it would be a great idea"
"Well I'm sold I've been dying to properly go out and they're parties are always fun so why not" Pandora said.
"I'm not sure. I mean there's going to be a lot of people there" Lily looked to Regulus hoping he would agree but he just shook his head. "Alright fine we'll go" she sighed getting up to order Regulus' drink. This party was going to be insufferable.

Walking in the house the music was blasting classic rock because of course their pretentious selfs would play niche rock songs that no one nor their mother have ever heard of in their life. As much as she loved hanging out of with Remus she never really did get how the four boys formed a friend group, they're just so different from one another. But they all shared their love for loud obnoxious parties. The three had to push their way through drunk couples dancing on each other as they looked for Remus so they could at least find someone they knew here. Luckily for Lily he towered over the crowd. Even now it surprises Lily how tall he is. Breaking through the hot, sweaty, and frankly repulsive sea of people, they reached him.
"I'm so glad you guys made it. You all look so good" he said hugging them all. "Do you guys want a drink?"
"Yes please make I double, I doubt I survive any other way" Lily replied annoyed she had let herself be dragged to another social event she knew she'd end up being left alone discarded while her friends mingled. Even Regulus would leave her in favor of finding his other friends.
"Remus don't you dare make her a double" Pandora said scanning the crowd for someone. "Hey Remus have you seen Barty, Evan, and Cas? They said the would here don't see them though"
"Yea pretty sure they're upstairs in one of the rooms" he replied handing Lily her drink
"Hey Lils me and Reg will be back really quick I promise just gonna go up and say hi ok!" she said kissing her cheek as she and Regulus walked away.
"They're never going to be back huh" Lily said taking a big swing from her drink, making her face cringe in disgust. She knew this routine since before they were even dating Pandora would just go to visit her friends real quick but then she'd spend the entire night drinking and smoking with them only to promise her the next day it would never happen again. She knew she didn't do it to hurt her but it still made her feel horrible. "So it's just me and you then huh Remus"
"Well you'll have me if you want to be on carpet duty with me, I'm making sure no one throws up on James' Mum's nice carpet." Remus said throwing Lily a pitying look. "Sorry Lils"
"It's all good" she said staring down at her drink "You go ahead I'll be fine here, better here then out there"
"Thanks Lily I'll be keeping a keen eye on the carpet if you need me" Remus joked walking out of the kitchen to go take his post.
"Well at least there are uglier kitchens to be stuck in" she thought to herself. She'd been left alone in this kitchen so many times she could tell you where everything is located. At many parties she's been the one to serve people snacks and make them drinks. "It's better than being quietly stuck in a corner I guess" she thought. She got up from the stool to open the alcohol cabinet, she didn't know what Remus had poured her so she just looked for something close enough to what she had in her cup. She figured the one with the dark brown bottle was it. She reached up to grab it but someone else grabbed it for her.
"Hey I was grabbing that" she replied snarkingly. She didn't need some random guys help. She looked up to grab the bottle back from the stranger. "Oh James sorry didn't know it was you"
"You're good besides you looked like you needed the help" he joked grabbing her cup to poor her the drink. "You want it straight or with a mixer?"
"Mixer if not I'm leaving here wasted"
"What drink are you on?" he said stopping himself from pouring the drink.
"It's only my second I swear I just got here" she replied while putting her hand over her heart.
"Good was worried I was going to have to cut you off there" James chuckled while pouring her drink "Dr. Pepper for the mixer like always yea?"
"You know me so well" she said her eyes following James to the fridge as he grabbed the soda and returned in front of her to pour the drink.
"So you came here alone?" he said watching her closely as he slid her drink over to her.
She thought about what to say for a moment. "Yea, yea came here by myself you know how Remus is always recruiting people from your parties" She didn't think Pandora would mind, with the stunt she pulled it's most likely she'd spend the entire party alone anyways.
"Do you want to come upstairs with me? Wait no I'm sorry unless you want to?" he asked nervously pushing up his glasses.
Lily bit her lip not sure what she should answer. Well she knew she should say no she knew James was asking her to go make out she knew she had a girlfriend...
"Yea, Yea I do actually" she said following James as he led her upstairs to his room.

Pandora walked down stairs to go find Lily. She knew she took a little longer than she would've liked but she hoped Lily wouldn't be too mad at her for it. She walked into the kitchen but she just saw Peter, one of Evan and Barty's friends who also happened to be a host, making himself a drink.
"Hey Peter have you seen my girlfriend Lily"
"Oh hey Pandora, uh sorry I haven't my guess is she's probably with Remus." he said grinning at her. Always such a sweet boy she thought to herself.
"Thanks Pete and he would be?"
"Oh yeah sorry he's on carpet duty so he's out in the living room. Let me know if you need help finding her yea I'll be upstairs with Barty and the others." he said as he walked out of the kitchen with Pandora following him out to go find Lily and Remus.
"I'm shocked she didn't just stay in the kitchen" Pandora thought to herself. I mean she's always complaining about how loud the music is and how hot and sticky it is on the dance floor. That's why she always stays in the kitchen it drowns it all out. She pushed through the remaining people to find Remus guiding a girl who's dangerously close to vomiting all over Mrs. Potter's very nice carpet. She slid her self under the girl's other arm to help Remus guide them to the bathroom.
"How's carpet duty going" Pandora wryly replied.
"How do you think Pands?" he said while pulling back the girl's hair so it didn't get in the way of her vomiting.
"Always a gentleman Remus" she laughed "Although real reason I came here was sadly not to help you with carpet duty but it was to find my lovely girlfriend. Have you seen her?"
"Aw I really thought you came here all the way for me, but yea last I saw her she was going upstairs with James probably quieter up there" he said as he helped the girl stand up and walked her out of the bathroom.
"Any idea what room" she said following Remus out of the bathroom
"My guess his room only one that won't have couples making out in it" he replied
"Thanks Love ya" she said making her way upstairs. She was happy Lily was making friends even if it was with golden boy Potter. She made her way down to the end of the hall to James' room. She was so happy Lily and James were becoming friends, they've all hung out with James once or twice before thanks to Remus and both times he was such a kind boy. He'd be a great addition to our group she thought as she began to open the door.
"Hi Lily sorry James going to..." she opened the door to see Lily and James kissing on his bed. "Oh... I'm going to go then" she slammed the door and rushed over to the room where she left Regulus and the others.
"Regulus I need you take me home" she sniffled with her hands over her eyes so they couldn't see her tears, but her voice gave it away.
"Yea whatever you need, are you ok what happened to you?" he stood making his way to the her while glancing back at the others with concern.
"I really don't want to talk about it right now ok can we just go now"
"Yea whatever you need. Bye guys I'll talk to you later" he said as they made their way down stairs past the crowd of people and out the door.
Pandora got in the car and immediately began breaking down. "Just drive, don't ask" she managed through her tears. She stared through her tears out the window. How could she do this to her. She closed her eyes but her mind kept replaying the two of them kissing in his room. "How could she do this. I mean really what the fuck was she thinking. I was in love with her God I wanted to marry her. Maybe this is my fault I shouldn't have left her" she cried out. She couldn't see anything any more but she felt the car pull over.
"Pandora you need to calm down what happens who's her? Lily? What did she do?" he asked while pulling her into a hug.
"I left to go find her and I went to James' room and there they were making out like, like she doesn't have a girlfriend like I'm not madly in love with her." she cried into his shoulder.
