Chapter 2
It was Harry's fifteenth birthday, and he was spending it at the Burrow with the Weasley family. Despite the ongoing threat of Voldemort and the looming danger of the Triwizard Tournament, there was a sense of warmth and camaraderie in the cozy kitchen where everyone gathered for cake and celebration.
After a delicious dinner prepared by Molly Weasley, Harry found himself surrounded by friends and surrogate family. He felt grateful for their presence, especially knowing that not all birthdays in his life had been marked with such joy and affection.
As the evening wound down and the cake was served, Charlie Weasley approached Harry with a small, wrapped gift in his hands. "Hey, Harry," Charlie said with a warm smile. "Happy birthday."
Harry, surprised and touched by the gesture, accepted the gift with gratitude. "Thanks, Charlie. You really didn't have to."
Charlie shrugged modestly. "It's just a little something I thought might come in handy."
Harry unwrapped the gift carefully and found a finely crafted leather wand holster inside. It was sleek and practical, designed to securely hold a wand while allowing quick access when needed. Harry's eyes widened with appreciation.
"Wow, Charlie," Harry exclaimed. "This is amazing. Thank you so much!"
Charlie grinned. "Glad you like it, Harry. Thought it might be useful, especially with everything going on lately."
Harry nodded, his heart swelling with gratitude. "It's perfect. Thanks for thinking of me."
As Harry admired the holster, Ginny nudged him playfully. "You're going to look so cool with that, Harry."
Harry chuckled, feeling a sense of belonging and warmth that he rarely experienced outside of Hogwarts. He realized then, in the midst of friends who cared deeply for him, that no matter the challenges ahead, he was not alone.
Throughout the rest of the evening, Harry wore the holster proudly, a tangible reminder of the support and friendship that surrounded him. And as he glanced at Charlie from across the room, he silently thanked him once more for the thoughtful birthday gift that symbolized far more than mere utility—it represented solidarity, trust, and the strength of their bond.
