Confusion vol.1
Lying alone in his bed was James potter. In his 4th year at Hogwarts he had some confusing moments and thoughts in his mind. So much so that he started missing quidditch practice when he felt really upset and confused.
He was starting to question what he was and who he was attracted to. James has loved Lily the moment he laid eyes on her in charms, First Year. Recently he's had a bit of , what he thinks is, a crush on a boy. The worst part of this is that the boy isn't any old boy. It's Regulus Black. His best friend, Sirius' brother. AND ALSO he has been feeling quite giddy about this person named Ash and now his whole life is a mess with him liking 3 completely different genders and he doesn't know what to do.
He's always been quite open about his love for Lily and asked her out once a month nicely but he isn't so keen on letting everyone know that he is questioning his sexualty. Remus and Sirius got together a year ago but kept it a secret until half way through this year but that has never been James’ style. James has always been open and proud but now that he feels like he can't do that he's broken. Curled in a ball in his maroon sheets, his black hair messy (though that is normal but it's worse when he hasn't been out of his bed in more than 12 hours). Today he was missing quidditch. He was about to cry and scream at the same time. It's Saturday and it's the perfect weather for quidditch but James is just not able to go. Yesterday he saw Ash and tried his best to not smile too hard at him. That's today's reason for his “bedrot”: embarrassment.
James has only spoken to one person about his dilemma. Remus. He would have told Sirius but he felt like he would make him more confused and not the right person to talk to. He knows Remus was really confused about his sexuality for a while, but with Sirius he was sure once he felt something for a boy that he was gay. No questions asked.
He asked Remus to keep it secret until he was ready to tell Sirius and Peter (and possibly the rest of the school). He knew Peter wouldn't be able to keep it a secret and Sirius would have told Remus anyway, so Remus would probably have the least problems keeping it to himself for at least a few months.
