During lunch I looked everywhere for Luna. I found her in a strange corridor looking at a wall as if it hid something.
"Hey Luna!" I smiled, one I reserved for family only. "How has school been, no-one bothering you." Really I wanted to know if Harry was bothering her. I'd seen them hang about. Who knew what he was up to.
"Hey Draco!" She beamed and gave me a hug. When I learned we where cousins I'd been elated. Only to find out I'd be disowned in I was caught acknowledging our familial relationship. "No-one has bothered me. I've made a new friend though. I'm so excited! I know you don't like him, but he's so sweet to me! treats me like you do Draco." She passed before adding, "Im worried the nargles will mess up my casting, but the wrackspurts have been much better, my brain is clear!" She smiled excitedly.
"That's amazing! I know you don't wanna hear this but be safe around Potter for me, okay cousin?" I asked silently pleading she'd agree.
"Fine... I'll be careful and let you know if he does anything bad!" She held out her pinkie for me.
We talked for a bit before we both eventually left for lunch. I walked through the halls contemplating a few well placed threats. Flint owes me a few favors, I could have him do it. I entered the hall and scanned the area. I spotted Potter with his mop of black hair and dark skin. His scar was distinctly pale compared to the rest of him as it branched out like lightening over his brow and cheek. He blushed at something Weasley had said before ducking his head with a small smile. Disgusting.
I walked to the Slytherin tables and sat elegantly as the Drumstrang students where conversing in Russian so as to keep the conversation private.
I raised a brow as one boy looked at me and said in Russian, "He's pretty for a boy. Recon he'd be a good fuck?" Before laughing with his friend.
"You would never know seeing as you spitting half the food you eat while you talk, not even broaching the fact I'm fourteen and your of age. That's pedophilia and statutory rape sir." I answered back in perfect Russian causing him to blush and grumble before leaving to sit with other friends.
I gazed lazily at the Gryffindor table watching as Potter talked to Luna, what if he was thinking equally inappropriate thought about Luna as that Drumstrang boy. I'd never forgive myself if she was taken advantage of or lied to or left heartbroken. I began to wonder if I should just threaten him. Though that might lead him to tell the whole school about me and my cousin. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair lazily.
The thought stayed with me for the few weeks before The drawing of the Twizard Champions. I watched as Viktor was called and went to the stand. The Fluer, who I needed to talk to. Her hair was beautiful, I needed the routine. I was roused from my thoughts when the last paper flew out of the Goblet. Finally the Hogwarts champion. I looked in passive as I prayed for a Slytherin name to be drawn, "Cedric Diggory!" I let out a silent sigh of disappointment.
The goblet began to light again and shake. Of bloody course, that old thing is gonna fall apart just like this while tournament. I rolled my eyes only to see another paper fly out of the old artifact. Some, one must have confounded the bloody thing. Then to my dismay Dumbledore yelled, "HARRY POTTER, did you put your name in the goblet!" The professor raged. It was obvious Harry hadn't done it he was shaking like a leaf, not to mention he was squeaking like a squirrel. This was something I could use to my advantage though. Especially if I wanted him to be careful around Luna.
Slowly everyone left the hall even Potters friends. Weasley I noticed was red as a tomato and looked pissed. Yes I could definitely use this to my advantage... I waited in an empty classroom around the corner Potter would walk on his way back to his dorms. I spent what felt like hours waiting for him before I hear footsteps. A shaky Potter began walking near the door. He was obviously on the verge on a panic attack. I contemplated trying anther time but... Why not. I reached out and hauled him into the room before locking the doors. He squeaked loudly and scrambled, face red to understand what had happened.
"Malfoy...?"
